TNA Impact Rating Spikes For "Night Of Reveals", No Plans For Isis the Amazon

May 13, 2011 - 9:07:30 PM -- The May 12 episode of TNA iMPACT! scored a 1.27 cable rating, up from the previous week's 1.15 number.
iMPACT! averaged 1.8 million viewers overall, up from 1.6 million the week before. It was also the program's most watched show since March 17.
-- The role of Kurt Angle's on-air "mistress" went to former WWE Diva Chyna instead of independent wrestler Isis the Amazon due to concern over her wrestling ability and behind-the-scenes reputation.
With the role calling for a wrestling match this Sunday at Sacrifice, TNA Wrestling officials opted for "The Ninth Wonder of The World" over the 6'9" grappler.
"Isis is way too green still," said one company source. She worked a dark match prior to the February 15 iMPACT! taping and drew poor reviews for her wrestling ability.
Isis still also has a reputation for having a poor attitude. She garnered major heat amongst the locker room due how she carried herself at the February event.
"I've never seen a guy or a girl rub the locker room this much the wrong way," said a TNA employee following her tryout.
Company officials no longer have plans for Isis the Amazon.

-- EVOLVE has announced some of the talent scheduled to appear at their April 19th show at BB Kings in New York City. The talent involved includes Chuck Taylor, Reby Sky, Jimmy Jacobs, Johnny Gargano, Sami Callihan, AR Fox, Jon Moxley, Silas Young, Akira Tozawa, Facade, Jason Gory, Jon Davis, Shiima Xion, Tony Nese and Zack Sabre Jr.-- Isis the Amazon's tryout match prior to last Tuesday's TNA iMPACT! taping was deemed "terrible" by one company source.
Though her in-ring capabilities are considered lousy, it was noted that she worked with a wrestler who is also considered green, Leva Bates, a student of the Team 3D Academy Of Professional Wrestling. The source doesn't rule out TNA using Isis again, due to her tremendous size. It's similar to that of Awesome Kong although she actually had in-ring skills.
As noted yesterday here on the website, Isis the Amazon revealed on her Twitter account on Sunday that she's dating WWE developmental wrestler Marcus Owens.
-- TNA Wrestling announced on Twitter that any fan who was able to catch Jeremy Borash during his jog near the site of Friday's show in Huntington, West Virginia would receive a backstage pass to the event. After outrunning a man in his fifties and three teenagers, the fan in the video below earned a pass after he "ran for his life." This poor guy!
