Biography from Shawn Michaels
Shawn Michaels is one of the Veterans of professional wrestling already not associated with WWE, having left the organization in March 2010. He started the course of his career in 1988 as part of "The Rockers" and gradually became one of the true Superstars of the professional game.
Although there are many achievements of their struggle, Michaels is often remembered for the battle with Randy Orton (Unforgiven 2003). At the time, Michaels was announced as the Heartbreak Kid, but Orton was considered the lion young promising people in the field. Many commentators at the time it is considered the true beginning of reputation of Orton as a legend killer.
Long career
Shawn Michaels is the name of the man born Michael Shawn Hickenbottom in 1965. He worked under the banner of World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) since its debut in 1988 until he retired from competition in 2010. Prior to struggle free WWE worked with Mid-South Wrestling and the American Wrestling Association (AWA). He and his partner Marty Jannetty won twice the AWA tag team title. They moved to the WWF, he returned to the AWA and then finally he signed with the WWF in 1988. Michaels kept for more than 20 years.
Michaels teamed up with the Group of D - Generation X for a while, a group of wrestlers that included Triple H and Chyna. He opened a school of wrestling after a back injury, but returned to the ring in 2002. One of the highlights of this second part of his career was the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship (with Triple H). Michaels has won the title of champion of the world four times and the WWF three times. He won the Royal Rumble twice (1995 and 1996). He also holds the distinction of being the first wrestler to be named Grand Slam champion of WWF.
The beginning
Shawn Michaels was born the family Hickenbottom in Arizona. He also spent a brief period of his youth in England due to the fact that his father was in the army. Hickenbottom biographical material indicates that he grew up in Texas, where he began to be called by his middle name rather than his given name.
Michaels played football in high school and attended college in Texas for a short time. But I knew from a young age that he wanted to be a wrestler, especially in the professional world which combines wrestling Entertainment. According to the history of the WWF/WWE The Rockers (Jannetty and Michaels) were especially popular among women and children in the audience. They were often featured on pay-per-view and television regular shows.
Michaels fought as The Heartbreak Kid for several years in the 1990s. He changed his personality ring slightly, becoming cockier and the adoption of the "villain" label on many of their games. Often one referred to having "left the building," a clear association with the late, great Elvis Presley. It was WWF Commissioner for a time in the 1990s, but he continued to fight actively for many years more. He returned to WWE action, and was a popular attraction at events until his eventual retirement at the age of 45.

- According to the Wrestling Observer John Morrison may be on the outs with WWE. His contract expires soon and it may not be renewed.
A sign that he’s currently in the doghouse was his loss to Christian in about 60 seconds and the subsequent assault from by Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger.
Although he does have his supporters, the feeling is that he’s paying for the heat garnered by his girlfriend and former Diva Melina. Former Diva Maria echoed this statement during an interview on AfterBuzzTV.com with Lilian Garcia, saying that he’s distracted by outside complications:
“I think it’s a lot of complications of outside stuff. I think that a lot of times they go with who’s going to be there, who’s always going to be there, who’s going to be the easiest. He’s very easy and I love him to pieces, but I think it’s outside complications. I think that’s why.”
A fan wrote the following to Melina on Twitter:
“Will you stand trial for killing your bf’s career? #prayforJoMo.”
She replied saying: “The WWE did it. I never did anything but stand by him through thick and thin. We should all be so lucky as to have someone like that in our lives.”
“John worked his ass off and did everything he was told. The blame shouldn’t be put on me. Blame the WWE.”
- Spike TV have released Brian Diamond, who was the Senior Vice President of Sports and Specials. Diamond was reportedly one of the main supporters for TNA programming, so it will be interesting to see if his replacement has the same enthusiasm.
- This week’s episode of WWE Monday night Raw drew a 3.24 cable rating on the USA Network.
- “Hacksaw: The Jim Duggan Story” written by Duggan and Scott Williams, is set for a April of 2012 release. The autobiography is being published through Triumph Books.

- This weeks special supershow episode of WWE Raw drew a 2.98 cable rating on the USA Network.
- In the latest edition of WWE Magazine, Zack Ryder says he’s getting tired of his Youtube Show:
“Well, I’m tired of it already, so it wouldn’t surprise me if some viewers get tired of it soon. Honestly, I can only do this show for so long before the charm kinda wears off. Once I get to where I want to be on TV, then there will be no need for the show, and that’s a good thing.”
- Slam! Wrestling has an article up looking at the upcoming biography of old school wrestler Angelo Mosca:
The author, Steve Milton, who has 20 different books to his credit, said he admired Mosca for “the bravery that it took” to “reveal his soul” in the book.
“He’s full of stories, a lot of fun. It’s nerve-wracking in a way because he’s such an icon and I wasn’t sure I was going to get it right,” said Milton. “The big thing was trying to find his voice.
“His voice is so distinctive and you know that it had to be a first-person book. It couldn’t be me writing about him. It had to be first-person. He had to be telling the stories, he’s a storyteller. Anybody else who wrote it in the third-person, to me, you’d end up like Psychology 101, you’d be analyzing all the time, given his background. I was surprised at many of the things in his past, and most of the readers will be.”
Indeed, readers will not only learn about wrestling and football, but also about Mosca’s rough childhood, dealing with racism as the son of a white father, an African American mother, in their home outside Boston.
At the book launch, Mosca cracked wise about working with Milton. “We spent a year and a half together, almost in bed!” he joked. “I never thought I would be so enthused about writing it”

Edge Biography

There have been rumors about the death of the professional wrestler known as Edge. But more reliable reports indicate that Adam Joseph Copeland is alive and well. It seems he just wanted some time away from the wrestling spotlight. As Mark Twain once wrote, “New of my death have been greatly exaggerated.”
Copeland, now 36, was born in Canada in 1973. He wrestled under the World Wrestling Federation’s Raw brand and is a World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) wrestler now. Edge was first an independent wrestler and grew in popularity during the mid-1990s. He was active in both individual and tag-team matches, eventually signing with WWF in 1997.
Getting an Edge
It was at this time that Copeland began using the ring name Edge. He won the Intercontinental title quickly, taking that championship in 1999. His tag-team success with Christian led to seven WWF Tag Team championships. While they become well-known and popular in Tables, Ladders, and Chairs matches, the partnership broke up in 2001. Copeland, as Edge, has been a world champion nine times. He was also King of the Ring in 2001 and has been successful in getting a few film and television appearances.
Edge was born in Ontario to a single mother. He showed an early interest in wrestling and counted Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage and others among his favorites in the ring. He trained with Ron Hutchinson and Sweet Daddy Siki and also attended college. Copeland holds a college degree in the field of broadcasting. But his main interest remains with professional wrestling. He has been part of The Suicide Blondes with Cage and received some assistance from pro Bret Hart.
With WWF
Edge made his first television appearance in the late 1990s and appeared in pay-per-view action in August of that year. A staged feud with Gangrel ultimately led to an alliance called The Brood. That group became part of the Ministry of Darkness with The Undertaker in the lead. Edge battled his way to the top to take his first WWF Intercontinental championship in 1999.
Copeland, as Edge, became a popular wrestler with the fans and was very successful during the period from 2001 to 2004. This period involved some controversy with Christian, a match with Test in which Edge lost the Intercontinental title and a feud with Williams Regal. This period also included two key accomplishments in Edge’s career – tag team titles with Hulk Hogan and with Rey Mysterio.
Edge was a serious contender in the heavyweight division in 2005. He went on to take the WWE championship in 2006 and also fought a memorable match with John Cena. Edge and Randy Orton put together Rated-RKO, a tag team that soon held the team championship. Injury slowed Copeland’s activity for a short period but in January 2010 he was in the Royal Rumble match. Edge, who has been married and divorced twice, has been connected with steroid controversy within professional wrestling ranks. He remains a recognized superstar of professional wrestling in spite of the stories and rumors surrounding his personal life.
Matt Hardy's biography
For some fans of professional wrestling, Matt Hardy's career is difficult to separate the career of his brother, Jeff. Brothers worked together early in their careers that form the Organization of modern Extreme Grappling Arts (OMEGA) but as to Jeff, Matt signed with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
Matt Hardy has established itself as a great fighter in addition to his brother, with individual Championships at the beginning of his career. He won the individual Championship in 2008 and also had several other Division titles. But the majority of the Hardy family fame comes from the brothers success as a team. In the list of achievements are six World Tag Team Championships, a WWE Tag Team Championship and WCW Tag Team Championship.
TWF
The trampoline Wrestling Federation (TWF) formed during the time that the brothers were working on their own and then began to OMEGA. Matt Hardy uses the name of high voltage, but had to change to increase. The brothers are probably best known for his time as the Hardy Boyz, a huge step up to the status of "jobber" brother once held. In 1998 the brothers received first full-time job with the WWF.
He trained with the legendary wrestler Dory Funk, Jr. and worked on his way to a partnership with the new breed (Gangrel). This was followed by time administrator of Terri Runnels, who managed the two up Lita took over as Manager of Hardy. This was known as team Xtreme. During this period the brothers "feud" with Christian and Edge, taking two Championships couples along the way.
Matt Hardy pursued a career singles successful since 2001 to around 2005. He won the European title during that time, and held the title longer than any other wrestler born in United States. The brothers won the new tag team title during this period. Matt is also associated with SmackDown! They cut back to fight in the Cruiser Division and won the title in 2003.
Matt was released from his contract with WWE in 2005, a move that incited the fans calling for his restoration. He returned in short order and faced off against coach and friend, Lita. The confrontation ended with Lita walking in this show as a whole. Matt returned officially to perform under the banner of the WWE in August 2005.
Coupled brothers
Jeff and Matt joined forces in 2006 and 2007 to rekindle his success couples. They defeated MNM at the Royal Rumble 2007. After some serious health problems, Matt Hardy returned to action in 2008. He took the title of United States at Backlash in 2008. But things seem to be changing of Matt Hardy.
It surprised many fans when brother Jeff with a steel chair at the Royal Rumble 2009. He left ECW and SmackDown signed again. Their joint career continued until 2009, fighting in teams with brother Jeff and The Great Khali.

Jeff Hardy's biography
Jeff Hardy, one of the known Hardy brothers professional wrestling, has held numerous times to world titles. His resume includes three titles of champion of the world, four intercontinental titles and the European Championship. Hardy, who was born in 1977, has packaged very successfully in more than three decades of life. He was an avid motocross driver before assuming the wrestling full time.

She was born Barbara Jean Blank in 1987 and at an early age became a name recognized in professional wrestling. He now works for the SmackDown brand under the banner of the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
Kelly Kelly's career began in the "leagues" of the WWE, in Ohio Valley Wrestling. She received a contract from that organization in 2006, at the age of 19. He was an All-SEC and All-American player at the University of Georgia. A brief career in the NFL was cut short by a muscle tear and he retired from the game. But he found a new job that wasn’t first on his list of priorities. Friendships with other World Championship Wrestling stars led to his debut match against Hugh Morrus. Goldberg quickly rose to star status with his signature spear and jackhammer moves.
He defeated Hulk Hogan in 1998 but then found himself trying to regain his wrestling title. Frustration led to a serious cut on his arm (after punching through a car windshield). The wound was closed with 190 stitches. After some time on the sidelines he made his way back into the ring and continued his success into the 21st century. Most of you probably know him as Stone Cold, one of the most recognized names in WWF/WWE history. He was also associated with World Championship Wrestling and Extreme Championship Wrestling.
If you haven’t followed the Stone Cold saga it’s not from lack of effort on the part of the wrestling industry. Austin was marketed as the most popular wrestler in WWE history but his fame was primarily due to the ongoing feud with wrestling mogul Vince McMahon. In fact, Austin put the boss down with his finishing move, the “Stunner.” That didn’t stop Stone Cold from being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
All of this notoriety was just part of the Stone Cold story, however. Austin has held wrestling titles 19 times during his career, including six World Champion titles under the WWE banner. The wrestler has also used such performing names as Austin 3:16, The Texas Rattlesnake and The Ringmaster. He started his career as a loudmouth punk and big talker, only to find a second career as a referee in recent years.

Chris Jericho Biography
While he doesn’t have an ear-catching name like Hulk Hogan or CM Punk, Chris Jericho is no stranger to wrestling and television fanatics. His resume includes items such as radio host, rock star, television personality etc. He has also published a book with the intriguing title A Lion’s Tale: Around the World in Spandex, a fact that shows his sense of humor. In addition to film roles, Jericho has been in live-theater productions and comedy television shows.
