Eric Bischoff appeared on Monday Night Mayhem, which airs every Monday night at 7:00 p.m. via MondayNightMayhem.com. Highlights from the interview are as follows:

His reaction to Bruce Prichard replacing Vince Russo as the new head writer for the TNA creative team: "A lot has been written about that recently, and a lot has been written with a lack of full disclosure or full knowledge. I think the change that people are reading about probably represents more of a change in process than anything else. Vince Russo is still a vital part of the creative team in TNA and is a very talented, hard-working, and committed individual. Bruce Prichard is as well. I think what we're doing is fine-tuning a process, as opposed to fine-tuning or changing authority and control."

Why he is not worried about Hulk Hogan's decision to step back into the ring one more time and why he is "very confident" in the way that things will turn out when "The Hulkster" collides with Sting this Sunday night at Bound for Glory: "If I thought for a second that Hulk wasn't capable and able to get into that ring safely, convincingly, and in a way to entertain the audience and in a way to protect his health, I would the first person that would step in front of it all and say no. But I don't feel that way. I'm very confident that things are going to turn out great. I'm very confident in Hulk's ability to do what he feels he needs to do to produce the match and a fight in the way that he wants to."

The experience of sharing Bobby Roode's story with the world in his quest to become the TNA World Heavyweight Champion at Bound for Glory: "It's been a real joy to watch Bobby Roode come from way behind in the Bound for Glory Series. He was somebody so far behind that nobody thought that he had a chance, and then to emerge as the winner, and to watch Bobby Roode's story evolve to the point where we watch him week after week come from behind, and then emerge as a front-runner. I think it's a story people can relate to. I think Bobby has done a phenomenal job both in the ring and outside of the ring helping make that story relatable and something the audience can relate to."

His opinion of the X-Division's progression and overall growth/expansion since Destination X: "We're getting there. It's a work in progress. I'm very happy with it, but I think there's a lot of things we can do to enhance and improve on the presentation of the X-Division and really make it even more special than it already may be to some people. I would say on a scale of 1-10, we're at a 4, and I hope to be at an 8 or a 9 in the next three to four months."

- WWE star Darren Young was suspended today for breaking the company’s Wellness Policy. He will be out for 30 days because it’s his first violation.

No specifics are known about what he was taking.

- TNA head writer Vince Russo has been replaced by Bruce Prichard. Russo will now be known as a “Senior Writer” and will continue to write the scripts with Matt Conway. Prichard will then make the final decisions as an overseer. This means Russo can be overruled.

- Following Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff has also signed a new deal with TNA.

- UK Fitness Model Carly Thornton will be getting looked at by WWE during the November UK tour. She has not wrestled before however, so it will most likely be some kind of evaluation without getting in the ring.

Skip Sheffield update, a further promotion in the zone effects? Bischoff on Foley's release

-WWE skip Sheffield noted on Twitter that he needs more surgery:
"A third operation will have on Tuesday be and it will be the last." There are a lot of people who are far worse off, and this is all for good reason. I wish I was just now back and do what I love, but things are not right and they have set. "100 Percent I will be very soon and back in the WWE television."

It seems issued an other wrestling promotion was access zone to the TNA impact. The press release reads:

All wheels of wrestling Debuts June 29 at Universal Studios. This made for TV event will try wrestling fans and race fans alike had fallen. Open and taping 21 starts doors at 6:30 am to 7:00 pm at Universal Studios Soundstage. This is a non-ticketed event and seating is based on a first come, first served basis.

-In an interview with MondayNightMayhem.com Eric Bischoff, the following had to say about Mick Foley departure:
"Mick was not difficult for me to work with." I you enjoyed thoroughly on camera work Mick & I together had. I think, some of the best moments that I had have impact in front of the camera on wrestling I had with Mick Foley. I miss working on camera with Mick Foley. Disappointed, to as much as I work with Mick enjoyed, it is a very limited role for someone like Mick Foley, a character like me, the rings, which is not really just a talker. If you look at where wrestling's impact at the moment, it is only not whole lot of space for more people like me or Hulk Hogan. We must be only in the center of the plot and probably be for some time, and there is only so much real estate. "Many of these properties has guys go, send the action in the ring can."

Interview Bischoff: Chyna-porn, Olympic Games of angle, Foley leaving TNA
By Michael Bluth
On 10 June of 2011-11: 18: 16 AM Monday night Mayhem: the big Mosh & "The President of the Board" Todd Vincent
Listen live Monday night @ 7 PM ET/6 PM CT

Eric Bischoff, TNA was one of the guests featured in live Edition of this week of the award-winning Monday night Mayhem.

Eric Bischoff explained the importance of how TNA is actually doing as a company in the eyes of Spike TV, rumors of impact fight going on the road this summer, disappointment would be if Mick Foley left TNA at the end of his contract & if he would never classify Mick being "Hard work", or full time absence of Kurt Angle's TNA and training for the 2012 Olympics in London would not a blow to the company, the decision of Chyna to restart his career in the entertainment industry for adults to his career in professional wrestling & their reaction to his comments of TNA "Missing the boat" after choosing to not bring her back after the payment of sacrifice, which he has feelings close imitation of Mr. Anderson's Sting during the last few weeks in struggle of impactAnd much more in the return of "The hot seat with Eric Bischoff" (flavored by Sizzlin sauces)

You can listen to an MP3 of the appearance by clicking here.

Interview highlights courtesy of Paterson, associate producer & official correspondent for the MNM:

The importance of talk about how TNA is really as a company in the eyes of Spike TV: "People keep making statements about how TNA is not going well, or sucks TNA, or any trivial children out of their heads." Is that it occurred to me that no one is talking about how TNA is as a company. Coincidentally, I received an email from television Spike talk about the classification of the night earlier Thursday. In the e-mail, said that the impact Wrestling is the # 1 rated show in its demonstration & at its time, despite the fact that we were against the NBA. Reduction of impact is the # 1 television Spike. They exceed the UFC. In order to be the programme # 1 of the network in prime - time is a very significant achievement. "I just wanted that outside, because there is enough people talk about the good things that come out in TNA".

Disappointment would be if Mick Foley left TNA at the end of his contract & or not was never hard Mick to work with on or off camera: "Mick was not difficult for me to work with." He enjoyed the work of House that Mick & they had together. I think that some of the best moments I've had in the House on impact of wrestling that I have had with Mick Foley. I echo of less camera work with Mick Foley. Of being disappointed, much as he had enjoyed working with Mick, there is a very limited for someone role as Mick Foley, a character like me who does not fight, is really only an emitter. If you look at where impact Wrestling is now, there is just not much space for the more guys like me or Hulk Hogan. We should only be the central focus of the story and will probably be for some time, and there's only so much real estate. "Much real estate should go to guys they can offer the action in the ring."

Size of a coup would be absence Kurt Angle for the TNA full-time while he is training in London for the 2012 Summer Olympics: "I do not think that it will be a problem." I strongly agree that when you have large characters like a Kurt Angle, or a Rob Van Dam, or a Ken Anderson or the name, you have to these figures out of the cycle from time to time to keep them fresh. We have seen a lot of Kurt Angle in the last year & environment. "He has been central to so many arguments that if Kurt needs some time to follow the Olympics, and I think that the vicinity of advertising that would be great for our company & by Kurt Angle, himself, who will give their time of a nature to update and return more valuable if it will only remain around and work a schedule full as everyone else".

His thoughts on the decision of Chyna to restart his career in the entertainment industry for adults to his career in professional wrestling & their reaction to his comments of TNA "missing the boat" after choosing to not bring back to the company: "I did not know that she made the comment that TNA 'lost ship', but I was not happy with the fact that the company decided to bring her to the payment of (sacrifice)." The initial idea was a diversion for me, but I kept my mouth stop. When the VI in the PPV and VI 'deer in the headlights' look in his eyes when really came time to do something, kind of confirmed what said me my instinct. Then I read about the fact that she wants to build his career around to anal sex for Vivid video. It was really, really, really, really happy that I don't have to try & explain to anyone why work in the same company as she. "

Eric Bischoff Interview: Still Mad At Jeff Hardy, Scott Hall, WWE-"Wrestling"

Eric Bischoff Interview: Still Mad At Jeff Hardy, Scott Hall, WWE-"Wrestling"

TNA's Eric Bischoff was one of the featured guests on this week's live edition of the award-winning Monday Night Mayhem. You can listen to an MP3 of Eric Bischoff's appearance on the show by clicking here.

Questions were taken via Eric's official Facebook page (Facebook.com/TheEricBischoff), along with The Mayhem Line (877.666.2110).

Interview highlights courtesy of The Mayhem's official correspondent, Paterson from New Jersey:

What Jeff Hardy could effectively give back to TNA if a return to the company facilitates itself & his reaction to the closing moments of the Victory Road Pay-Per-View:

"I'm the wrong person to ask that question of, and I shouldn't be. I can't understand why I feel the way I feel, therefore I certainly can't explain it. I'm still angry at Jeff Hardy, so it's hard for me to discuss what I think he could do or should do, because until I quit being angry at him and about the situation, whatever would come out of my mouth would probably be counterproductive."

How the TNA return of "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels came to fruition & why he was "very happy when he came back":

"I don't really want to go into the behind the scenes of it. I was impressed with Chris when I first came to TNA. I was surprised when he left the company, but I understand it was business. There were changes, and decisions, and moves that had to be made, but I also knew that everyone in TNA fully expected to have Chris back at some point. I was very happy when he came back. He's a good athlete, he's a good character, and I'm interested to see how that character evolves as the weeks & months go by."

His opinion of the wrestling promotion that used the Scott Hall incident from last weekend to promote their Internet Pay-Per-View:

"I'm not gonna judge them. I wasn't there, I don't know what led up to it, I don't know what kind of shape Scott was in before he went out. Was he stumbling around backstage for 2 to 3 hours? Was it obvious that he was in that shape? Did he show up two minutes before he had to go out and they had to scramble? I don't know because I wasn't there. I'm not going to pass judgment on them for letting him go out. I came across the video, and my wife & I watched it together, and it was very sad. I wasn't angry at the promoters for showing it & recording it. I was just sad for Scott."

His reaction to the WWE's decision to re-brand its company, eliminating the word "wrestling" from its name:

"I think it's kind of odd to be honest with you. I understand from a marketing point of view the pressure that he's under. Professional wrestling is & has always been a tough sell in the advertising community & mainstream television community, simply because it doesn't fit into a particular niche. That's always been a challenge in our industry, but at the same time, it's the thing that makes us unique, and it's the one thing that makes wrestling fans as loyal as they are. To knowing alienate or turn your back to such a large passionate group of fans, I understand it but I don't necessarily agree with that. Time will tell if Vince made a right decision or if this will be another XFL moment."

Eric Bischoff Responds To Bret Hart, Talks 3.3.11, WrestleMania & More

Eric Bischoff Responds To Bret Hart, Talks 3.3.11, WrestleMania & More

Source: MondayNightMayhem.com

TNA's Eric Bischoff was one of the featured guests on this week's live edition of Monday Night Mayhem. Questions were taken via Eric's official Facebook page (located at www.Facebook.com/TheEricBischoff), along with The Mayhem Line (877.666.2110). Here are some interview highlights courtesy of The Mayhem's official correspondent, Paterson from New Jersey:

The positives that he took from the recent TNA iMPACT tapings in Fayetteville, NC & the importance of establishing credibility as "an entertainment product" in helping TNA get to the next level: "Any number of them really, but overall, one of the things I was most excited about (both being there and also watching it on television) was just the energy that a broadcast from a venue with a large crowd, a traditional type of crowd, and not a soundstage crowd, had. The difference in the energy, and the vibe, and the feel of the entire show was completely different than what we're used to. I think that episode proved what I've been saying here on 'The Hot Seat' for the last six or seven months, in that for TNA to get to the next level, we have to find a way to get our show out in the arenas, so that we could have the credibility. I don't mean wrestling credibility per se, I mean the credibility as an entertainment product, so that people at home watching the show feel that energy, and it translates and gives us credibility as an event."

The thought process behind TNA using the 3.3.11 vignettes for Sting's TNA return just weeks after the WWE first starting airing similar vignettes to build The Undertaker's WWE return on 2.21.11: "I had nothing to do with this, so I can't give you any insight. I was rather surprised to be honest with you when I saw it. I won't go into any deeper than that."

His reaction to the comments made by Bret Hart on Twitter this past week that were directed at both Hulk Hogan & himself: "I didn't read any harsh words from Hulk Hogan. I was certainly made away of some of the comments by Bret Hart that were pretty harsh & negative. It's really funny, I actually picked Bret Hart up at the airport when he was on a flight to Los Angeles when Owen died, and I was the first person to meet him at the airport. Bret actually heard about the death of Owen while he was on the plane. I was the first person to meet Bret at the airport and consoled him as best I could. I developed a pretty good relationship with Bret. I feel sad for Bret, because Bret is one of those people, and there are a lot of them, he's the type of person that needs someone to hate in order to feel significant himself."

What he believes that TNA can do not to fall into the shadow of WrestleMania XXVII: "It's hard, because WrestleMania is such a big event. It's been around so long. It gets a lot of mainstream media attention, and fans from all over the world are thinking about WrestleMania. I think it would be silly for TNA to try & compete against that kind of awareness, because we don't have the resources. With that being said, I think if we continue doing what we've been doing, which is building momentum, we can continue to fine tune our presentation if we continue to find an edge, and put that edge on our product, and keep the audience engaged, and do things to keep them interested, and try our best. We just have to do our best to continue putting out the product we have been producing, and when WrestleMania is over, hopefully we would have gained even more momentum, more loyalty, & interest in our product."

You can check out more of the interview, including more of Eric's candid thoughts on Bret Hart's recent comments on Twitter and why he believes that "the pattern is pretty obvious" of Bret's hatred towards him & Hulk Hogan (especially now, when "The Hitman" is closely associated with the WWE), the reaction from Spike TV to TNA's iMPACT tapings in Fayetteville and much more at MondayNightMayhem.com.

Backstage TNA News: Bischoff Promoted + Hart To WWE

Backstage TNA News: Bischoff Promoted + Hart To WWE

Source: ProWrestling.net

-- Eric Bischoff recently accepted a position as an executive producer for TNA Wrestling. One of his duties is to represent the organization in their various dealings with Spike TV executives.

Bischoff and his production company partner Jason Hervey are also producing Micro Championship Wrestling, a reality show recently acquired by truTV. Hulk Hogan participated in a television taping yesterday in Tampa, Florida.

-- Jimmy Hart parting ways with TNA Wrestling for World Wrestling Entertainment last week is not considered a big loss within the Nashville based organization.

Hart was described as being Hulk Hogan's assistant when the two went on the road, and he had some duties at television tapings in Orlando, Florida. While Hogan hasn't bashed the WWE Hall of Famer publicly, many feel he's hurt by his decision to leave since Hart left without notice.
