WWE Ring Breaks, Serena Suffers Concussion, Tito Colon To Main Roster? Punk Dating Phoenix

- At last night’s WWE vengeance PPV the ring broke during the Mark Henry/Big Show match. This was a planned spot and live reports suggest the ring crew actually “gimmicked” the ring during the middle of the match, in front of everyone.
- Former WWE Diva Serena Deeb of the Straight Edge Society, recently suffered a serious concussion. She wrote on Twitter:
“I recently sustained a rather serious concussion and following my doctors instructions, will not wrestle for a period of time. I apologize to those who were looking forward to seeing me anytime in the near future… I will know more next week. I have to undergo some tests this week and I will know more concerning my future then… I am out of the ring ‘indefinitely’ as of now. Until I get the green light from the doctor, I am not allowed to wrestle.”
- There are plans for Tito Colon, the cousin of Primo and Carlito, to be brought up to the main roster to form a team with Primo. The team is currently being evaluated at house shows.
- It was confirmed in a recent Maxim magazine interview that Cm Punk and Beth phoenix are indeed dating. In the article the couple recall Punk’s infamous promo on Raw:
“I was in the dressing room,” recalls Phoenix, “and everyone sprinted over to see what would happen when he came backstage. Would he get fired on the spot? Would there be some sort of fight?”
Punk entered a side door backstage, coming up behind the mob of wrestlers and personnel. They formed a circle around him. “Then, legit, everyone began to hug me,” Punk recalls. “I’m talking cameramen, guys who work the boom backstage, everyone.”

- This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw drew a 3.1 cable rating on the USA Network.
- The Federal Election Commission has ruled that Linda McMahon violated election laws during her 2010 campaign by appearing in a WWE commercial for the Make-A-Wish-Foundation. It’s been decided that no action will be taken, but it could be something her opponents pick up on.
- As part of the promotion for the ESPN E:60 profile on Scott Hall’s drug and alcohol addiction it’s been revealed that WWE have spent “in the six figures” to get Hall help through various rehab stints.
“It’s the most amount of money we’ve spent on anyone,” says Stephanie McMahon.
“I just want Scott to get help and to decide for himself that he needs help. It makes me sad. I don’t want anybody to pass away prematurely or otherwise really. Scott was an incredibly talented performer, larger than life, charismatic. He’s a father, he’s a friend. I’m sure he means a lot to a lot of people and it would be a shame for him to pass away.”
On the WWE Wellness Policy McMahon notes:
“In addition to that substance and abuse program, we also have cardiovascular testing, we do blood checks, we do physicals, we do concussion testing akin to the NFL. We’re really about maintaining the health and well-being of our superstars because without our superstars we don’t have a business. The superstars of today — they’re businessmen. They realize the healthier they maintain their bodies, the better they are going to perform, the more money they’re going to make. They’re more about playing with their iPads and gaming devices than they are about going out and hanging out at the bars.”
Jennifer Love Hewitt breaks unwritten WWE
- As mentioned before, is a boxing match between Monte Barrett and David Tua WrestleMania 28 next year in Miami possible, because Barrett is friends with John cena and the two have discussed it. Barrett said 8countnews.com he meets next week with cena and Vince McMahon. We will see.
-Reuters recently published an article which says, that actress Jennifer Love Hewitt, the WWE SummerSlam VIP kick-off party last Thursday at the hotel Andaz in Los Angeles, California, attended broke one of the unwritten rules of the Organization: no dancing.

Referee breaks wellness policy, HBK UK tour Mania-special evaluation, Foley praises cena canceled

"In accordance with its talent wellness program WWE has suspended referee Mike Chioda for 30 days of its policy for his first violation."
It is unlikely that he will use steroids, would, so it may be some free time such as marijuana.

Due to circumstances which was beyond the control of Shawn Michaels, his agents at Encore sports & entertainment, LLC regrets to announce that the announced 1PW tour management calculated on 6 October 2011 in London, England canceled. Despite numerous efforts to work with and communicate with 1PW management during the past month our efforts have not reciprocated was. Shawn is very disappointed by this result, but it was inevitable in the circumstances. McMahon breaks a policy for the return of the Punk, recent figures from WWE assistance

* RAW on July 22 in Springfield, MA told 4,000 fans for $120,000.
* RAW July 23 in Wildwood, New Jersey drew 6,000 fans of $195,000.
* SmackDown July 23 in Pittsburgh, PA drew 4,300 fans for $156,000.
* RAW on July 24 in Upper Marlboro, MD said 3,300 fans of $112,000.
* SmackDown on July 24 in White Plains, New York was a sellout of 4,300 fans of $180,000.
* Monday Night RAW from Hampton, VA on July 25 was a sellout with 8,000 fans.
-It was noted that CM Punk got Vince McMahon to do something that has had a policy against doing the majority of cases - paid rights royalties to use popular songs instead of music created in WWE, as Punk premiums "cult of personality Living Colour" on Monday.

Don West Comments on Jeff Hardy, Ring Breaks at TNA Show, Tapings Tonight
- TNA will tape iMPACT Wrestling tonight from Orlando. The only confirmed happening for tonight's tapings is Mr. Anderson's "special surprise" for World Champion Sting going into their match at Slammiversary.
- At this weekend's TNA live event in Monroe, LA, the ring broke during the opening match with Abyss vs. Kazarian. TNA officials and members of the ring crew came down to fix the ring while Don West and SoCal Val threw out free merchandise for around 20 minutes.
- A fan asked Don West during the opener at TNA's live event this weekend when Jeff Hardy would be back. West, on the microphone, responded that hopefully Jeff would be back as soon as possible but right now he's sick and they're focused on getting him better.
