Just before The Rock’s segment he Tweeted the following to give it a boost:

WWE shop is now also selling shirts with the “Boots To Asses” phrase on it.
- The person who played John Cena’s Little League coach during his This Is Your Life segment was Indy star “Fabulous” Johnny Vegas.

John Cena's Biggest Fear, Ric Flair Featured In Rap Song, Torrie-Keibler

-- Wrestling legend Ric Flair is featured in a new rap song by artist Pusha T. Pusha T's new single, “What Dreams Are Made Of” features features samples from an old school Ric Flair wrestling promo. You can hear the song here.
The Flair interview that’s sampled includes Flair bragging about his wealth, limousine-riding, and jet-flying lifestyle.
Pusha T, who hails from Flair country (North Carolina) will be releasing his new album, “Fear of God 2: Let Us Pray” on November 8.
-- John Cena was interviewed by the WWE website this week about his new movie, "The Reunion," which has been getting very poor reviews from critics (it got a 9% on Rotten Tomatoes).
During the interview, Cena revealed an interesting note on his biggest fear: heights. Cena, who did his own stunts, had to sprint and jump off a 60-foot cliff during an action scene for the movie.
"I didn’t want to do it," Cena said. "I’m deathly afraid of heights. There’s a scene involving heights and helicopters. I hated it. I did it. Absolutely, I did it, but hated it."

-- John Cone stated on Twitter that he will be the referee for the second match of the night. In addition, California indy wrestler Mikey Callahan is at WrestleMania 27. -- John Cena will debut a new red outfit tonight at WrestleMania. He was wearing it at today's press conference in Atlanta.
-- There will be several entrance surprises tonight. Triple H, The Undertaker, and John Cena will also have special themes during their intros.
-- WWE will return to the Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington, West Virginia on Sunday, June 5th, 2011 at 5 PM.

2 WWE Matches At Axxess + Cena's Advice To Snooki
-- Two matches featuring RAW Superstars were held at yesterday's WrestleMania Axxess event in Atlanta, Georgia.
Daniel Bryan beat Ted DiBiase via submission while Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov defeated Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso in a tag team affair.
-- John Cena recalled his first appearance at WrestleMania, which took place in in 2004, to MTV.com.
He squared off against Big Show for the United States Championship, but before his music hit and he walked through the curtain into the arena, he felt distracted.
"I was worried my car was going to get towed," Cena said. "I was not allowed TK. It was cool because it was a moment of stardom wedged between reality. I truly love moments like that."
He also offered Snooki advice for her match on Sunday. "I told her it's just like an afternoon at the shore," he said. "You're supposed to go out and have a good time, and if trouble starts, just keep swinging until the cops come."

- Devin sent the following: WWE Monday Night Raw on June 20th, 2011 will be held at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, Maryland.
- John Cena will have his display of muscle cars for fans to see during WrestleMania 27 Axxess in Atlanta this week.
- The Rock made a special appearance for fans before today's WrestleMania 27 press conference in New York City. A truck stopped in front of fans that The Rock was riding in, then he leaned out, waved to the fans that he was "bringing it" and told them he would see them soon before driving off.

Update on Cena's Concussion, Awesome Kong's WWE Debut and More

Mar 23, 2011 - 8:23:47 PM - The news from last week that John Cena suffered a concussion at the hands of The Miz and Alberto Del Rio was an angle and not a legit injury. WWE must have had second thoughts as it wasn't mentioned on RAW this week.
- WWE is looking for a new Vice President of Talent Relations to work under John Laurinaitis because Ty Bailey, who had been under Laurinaitis, is being moved to work under Triple H behind the scenes.
- The latest word on Awesome Kong is that she will debut for WWE in April, shortly after WrestleMania. Kong has been given different start dates before but it looks like she will finally debut next month.

WWE Partners With GLAAD On Anti-Bullying, Apologizes For Cena's Recent Promos
WWE Partners with GLAAD on Anti-Bullying Messages
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) will be working with GLAAD to create and promote an anti-bullying initiative aimed at their core audience, and has invited us to conduct trainings for their staff of writers and editors.
Our outreach to WWE was prompted by outrage from many LGBT viewers, about a series of homophobic taunts by wrestler John Cena on the USA program WWE Raw in late February. We reached out to WWE Incorporated, which responded swiftly and positively.
GLAAD was first made aware of the incidents by several of its members following the February 21 broadcast of WWE Raw, which featured wrestler John Cena responding to taunts made by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson with a rap song making fun of Johnson's film roles. The song included lyrics like "You left us high and dry to play a fairy with a tooth?" and "He wore lipstick in Get Shorty, and rocked a skirt for The Game Plan."
But the real kicker came near the end when he said: "Just don't go racing to Witch Mountain, Rock, cause your mountain is Brokeback."
The next incident occurred on the show a week later (Feb. 28), when Cena was challenging another wrestler known as "The Miz" while in the ring with him, and had the crowd roaring when he joked about the Miz and his wrestling partner secretly being a couple. It began with Cena saying "Do you really want to look back years from now and realize you shared your legacy with another man?! ?.Wait don't answer that." Cena continued:
"Now The Miz and Alex Riley are co-champions and to celebrate it they're going to move in together. They're going to buy one of those tandem bikes and ride to bed bath and beyond to buy some duvets. And every evening they're going to relax with a glass of warm piot noir and watch The Notebook, or reruns of last season's Bachelor. ???.You want to be a mentor and train him? Well, tonight I'm going to train you on how to be a man."
The incidents were particularly troubling because WWE recently began promoting itself as PG-rated entertainment marketed primarily towards adolescent males. Young boys are of course the demographic most likely to experience homophobic bullying or to be bullying themselves. And there was wrestling superstar John Cena performing what amounted to scripted homophobic bullying of other wrestlers on a nationally broadcast show for kids.
GLAAD contacted WWE executives and explained the problem after receiving our first reports. They then spoke to John Cena and the show's writers. We have been assured that not only will such incidents not happen again, WWE intends to reach out to their adolescent audience, with messages aimed making it clear that bullying someone with homophobic taunts or for their perceived sexual orientation is wrong. WWE released the following apology statement to that effect:
"WWE takes this issue very seriously, and has already spoken with our talent about these incidents. We are taking steps and working with GLAAD to ensure that our fans know that WWE is against bullying or discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation. We strongly value our fans in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, and apologize to them for these incidents."
We are very much looking forward to developing our relationship with WWE, and we thank them both for hearing our message loud and clear, and for planning to send an anti-bullying message of their own.

John Cena's Final Knockout, Paul Bearer Hacked, NXT Note
-- As noted yesterday here on the website, John Cena promised on Twitter a 'final knockout' for Monday's RAW. Here is his actual tweet: "And I will come to raw for bizzness," he wrote. "Final knockout this monday on raw. HUSTLE. LOYALTY. RESPECT." -- The beginning of a recent NXT broadcast in New Zealand features a message from John Cena dedicating the show to victims of the recent earthquake. He praises the firefighters, Red Cross and rescue workers.
-- Paul Bearer has posted the following to his website: "After hearing horror stories from so many friends... it has happened to me. My PERCY PRINGLE III facebook account and fan page as well was hacked and is no more. I have restarted my personal facebook page that is available only to my family, personal friends, and business associates. In time, I hope to get my fan page up and running again, just bear with me. Matt Hardy Talks Backstage Heat, Cena's Response To Rock, TNA & More
Matt Hardy was on Busted Open last week and he had some good stuff on his time in TNA, Cold Blood character, conditioning, Cena, and the reports about his supposed heat backstage. Here are some excerpts, you can check out the full interview at bustedopen.net. On being in TNA: "It's been great. For me it's really revitalized my love and passion of the business. I didn't realize like the last six or eight months I was with WWE that actually that uncomfortable, miserable and unhappy I was going into work. That's not a shot against WWE. I mean WWE is a phenomenal, great, company. They [WWE] did so many great things for me. They made me a star. I wouldn't be sitting here with you right now if it weren't for them. I'm grateful to everyone there who's you know done so many good things for me and allowed me to have the great living that I have. It just came to a point where there were several different circumstances that kind of came into play. It was just time for me to move on and do something different."
On Cold Blood and his conditioning: "No this all mine [Creation of Cold Blood Character]. It's very similar to the 'Mattitude' version, one thing that was all mine too. Both of those drew from real life. You know 'Cold Blood' actually comes from just my theories like?about a year and a half ago whenever I had my abdominal injuries I just remember getting into my surgery and the surgeon actually told me 'Well I know you love wrestling and you've pretty much done it for your entire adult life, but you might not be able to wrestle after this.' That was a pretty hard pill to swallow. I was going 'Wow. I didn't know it was this bad.' Even after I had that surgery I found out I had intestinal issues where almost like you have a water hose and you can't get water through the hose. I have two spots, almost three, two and half I guess in my intestines. I had to change my diet. I had to completely re-invent it actually steak is something I can't eat at all. I never eat steak and I hate that because I eat steak all the time. Red meat is out. Between that and I felt like you know a lot of my fans that had always supported me, which were the hardcore fans, earn it fans. They definitely didn't mind making fun of me because of injuries or because my pants looked different, which wasn't terribly drastic. Which is funny because compared to a normal person it's not really anything in the scheme of things. Actually when I started with TNA I knew I would never have three or four months off again, so I tried to do all good to gain size and than I was just going to die down. I will continue to get in better shape because now I know what I can put into my body and what I can't. That was kind of scary. That was a whole new thing in life to kind of figure out, so there's like little things I can't eat and some things I can, but between that and when Jeff showed up on that January 4th show, when they did the Monday impact you know I got a call from Johnny Ace 'Matt. What's going on?' I don't know Johnny. He said 'Is Joe showing up there? How could you let him do this?' I mean I'm not him like you know I kept getting phone calls saying 'Is he there? What's he doing?' Ever since that day on Jeff didn't have intentions of signing with TNA. You know I think Jeff was rubbed wrong by how they?you know they had Dr.Sampon [WWE] go out and mention his legal situation. I think from that point on he was rubbed the wrong way by WWE and he got an awesome deal to go there and he's real happy to go there because the schedule is so much more laid back. Also the environment is laid back, but between Jeff going and just like you know I was working so much. I just couldn't get time off. I couldn't get my body right. I couldn't get my mind right. I ended up just being unhappy. I needed a change and TNA became that change for me. That's where 'Cold Blooded' came from because I'm always the guy you know like people always say 'Do you see the glass half full or half empty?' I always go 'Well it's half full.' Actually I always say 'It's like two-thirds full.' You know more than half-full because I've had a great life. I have nothing to complain about and I'm happy you know pretty much every day of my life. It's one of those things like I drew from those bad experiences, from my last few months in WWE for how some of the hard-core fans treated me to how I felt was pretty unfair considering there were a lot of things out of my control like physical issues. Sacrifices I made like throwing myself off three-foot ladders, through tables, for twelve/thirteen years. You know that does make you 'Cold Blooded' to a degree, so that's actually where all that's drawn from. I wanted to build on it as time goes. The character is really in it's beginning stages. It's in 101 now. I have a lot of really cool ideas going forward."

Miss USA To Get Major WWE Push?, Cena's Title Reign
-- WWE management is viewing this season of Tough Enough as a way to give a major push to Miss USA Rima Fakih. WWE officials see a potential 'star' in the former Miss USA winner. They plan to bring her right to the main roster once Tough Enough concludes. That doesn't necessarily mean she'll win the competition but it's almost guaranteed that she'll debut with WWE anyways. Fakih is said to be a huge wrestling fan with knowledge of the business.
-- As everyone knows by now, John Cena and The Miz won the WWE tag-team titles on RAW this past week for a brief moment.
It should be noted that out of the four times that Cena has held the tag titles, each time he's had a partner who he's been in a feud with at the time. In 2007, Cena won the titles with Shawn Michaels. In 2008, he held them with Batista. In 2010, it was David Otunga and in 2011 it was The Miz.
Cena's title reign with Shawn Michaels lasted two months. The Batista reign was only a week while it was one day with David Otunga and just 12 minutes with The Miz on RAW. Just thought that was an interesting stat that I'd pass along.
