- Kurt Angle’s DUI charge has been changed to “Reckless Driving”.
“Based upon our review, the commonwealth feels that a reckless driving charge is strongly supported by the evidence and we have elected to prosecute that charge in lieu of the charge of driving while intoxicated,” The Warren County Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Michael Fleming stated in a press release.
Reckless driving carries a maximum of one year in jail and a $2,500 fine, which is the same first-time offense penalty as a DUI.
- According to PWInsider.com creative are once again getting behind Sheamus and he’s expected to get a push going forward. The feeling is that Randy Orton, Mark Henry and Sheamus are the foundation of the Smackdown brand.
- Various media outlets are reporting on a riff between WWE’s David Otunga and Jennifer Hudson. Their wedding is apparently on hold due to disagreements over a prenup.

-- Shannon Spruill (a/k/a Daffney), who was arrested on July 19, 2011 in Hillsborough County, Florida for driving under the influence with property damage, plead no contest during a court hearing in Plant City, Florida earlier this week. The judge ordered her to attend DUI school while placing her on twelve months probation. She must also pay damages and costs of $1,080.
Meanwhile, Mick Foley praised the former TNA Knockout after viewing a tribute video on the Scream Queen on YouTube. He tweeted, "TNA missed the boat on @screamqueendaff - she had it GOING ON!"

Hulk Hogan Says He's Now In Charge Of TNA Creative

Mar 18, 2011 - 11:06:14 AM We reported earlier this week that Eric Bischoff recently received a promotion in TNA and is now the executive producer of TNA programming. Aside from overseeing the production of TNA programming, Bischoff also serves as the point-man between TNA Wrestling and Spike TV.
In another sign that the Bischoff-Hogan regime is on solid ground in TNA, Hulk Hogan is now claiming that he took control of TNA’s creative process three weeks ago.
Hogan had an online exchange this week with former WWE superstar Kizarny, who was asking Hogan why he never got a job opportunity in TNA. Hogan responded:
"@SiNNbODHi just took over creative 3weeks ago,shoot. Now I understand why nobody is using you HH"
Update: A TNA source we contacted this week was unaware about any formal shakeups with the TNA creative team, so for now, it's just Hogan's word on this.
