Understanding WWE Business and How it Relates to Current State of the Product

You, him, her, them, and aliens circling the planet undetected by human technology keep talking about how wrestling fans need to get over the Attitude Era and move on because, the ‘business’ has changed. That, is false.
You see, business never changes. Business continues on, following basic rules and/or principles that govern whatever the goals are that you have set for your company.
Vince McMahon has certain goals that involve bringing in the maximum amount of money from his product. These goals have never changed. They have remained the same for the entire duration of his time at the head of WWE. The changes have been in WWE’s performance, and the gigantic decline in popularity of the product. Understand what the product is? No? Okay.
WWE’s Product = Wrestling Personalities.
Any product, in order to sell and make money, must be so freakin good that it forces those with money to surrender it in order to obtain said product.
WWE’s ‘product’ used to be so good, that companies, sponsorships and television networks (which contain insane amounts of sponsorship money), didn’t care what the hell was going on in WWE. the product was so popular, that rules didn’t matter and demographics as far as kids / men / women held no weight. Everyone was watching.
You were watching WWE, (and WCW just before it), seeing every commercial, buying every slim jim, every pair of Lugz, and everything else that was being shown to you.
These days? WWE’s product, as a whole, is hot garbage. An abyss of terrible, bad, and just ‘alright.’
The flagship of this product is only accepted by 60% of the audience that watches. 4 in 10 can’t stand Cena. That’s almost half.
Networks, companies, and sponsorships don’t do halves. As such, now the networks and sponsors are in control and they have the power to force WWE into it’s current state in order to safeguard themselves. They market to children because the niche is making money, the sponsors see this and won’t allow them to take risks.
So now Vince McMahon, in order to keep making money, is forced to water down his product. Not because he necessarily wants to but because the shoe is on the other foot and he has to. It has nothing to do with the product changing in the way most people perceive it. It has nothing to do with the quality of the wrestlers who have worked their asses off, or the talent of the writers.
Problem is, the wrestlers who work hard and make connections to the audience just happen to be wrestlers with ‘Attitude Era’ styles who simply can’t be unleashed to their full potential because McMahon is not allowed to unleash them.
That means those who normally would be able to carry the brand to glory are passed over for guys like, uh, anybody not named Randy Orton right now.
Christian is going to get a shot not because he has finally earned it, but because everybody else is gone and at least they know he can carry the weight. Be clear – he is an Attitude Era baby and he will have to be handled that way. CM Punk goes only so high now that he has been built up properly, but they never seem to push him over the top. Why? Because that dude is evil and you can’t change him on television.
Business hasn’t changed. It’s all about power. Look at pro wrestling companies world-wide outside of WWE in relation to the markets they’re in. Even TNA in it’s WWE-lite mode right now brings it much harder, even though their shows look like they’ve been put together by an epileptic who just watched Kanye West’s ‘All of The Lights’ video, because the demands on them are smaller and they don’t have to be PG if they don’t want to be.
The PG era will remain until Vince, (or whoever comes after him), takes a slight financial shot in order to build up a proper stable of mega stars again. Then that money and the theme of the programming will shift again.
They’ll probably need help. WCW is the reason an Attitude Era was allowed the first time around. That’s why so many people are so angry with TNA. [smart] Fans understand that they are not under the same constraints as WWE but choose to copy / paste them anyway. Fans know that TNA is their only hope right now to rise up, because that would then give WWE the proof they need to say: “See, it doesn’t have to be so childish – let us run with it like they run with it and the money will come.”

WWE Stock continues they plummet, last Warrior receives current main attention

On June 9, 2011 - 1: 47: 36 PM - bag of actions of WWE closed at $9.70 per share on Wednesday after hitting a minimum of 52 weeks for $9.69 per share. WWE stock price closed $10.01 per share Tuesday prior to 3.1 per cent. At the time of this post, the balance is $9.69 per share after hitting another low of 52 weeks for $9,44 this morning.
Price of the shares in WWE has continually collapsed from the Organization announced in April that could be reduced his price of dividend. A year ago, shares WWE was valued at about $16 per share.

The 2 of June of 2011-12: 19: 30 PM cinco-tiempo WWE Tag Team Champion Road Dogg appeared on Busted open with Doug Mortman and Dave LaGreca, which airs on Monday and Wednesday from 2: 00 to 4: 00 p.m. in 92 of Sirius and XM 207. Highlights of their interview is as follows:
Current inclusion of R-verdad: "If you ask me, the WWE is approximately ten years too late." This guy had ten or twelve years ago. I actually recruited him to be my teammate of Billy label (Gunn) had only destroyed his shoulder and will undergo surgery and is going to be out for a year. Role of inside in the WWE triple h: "Is a man really level headed." It is not very emotional. It will not leave than their emotions rue the day if you hired someone because you don't like them. If anyone has talent, they will have an opportunity and it is how it is. And I think that kind of always had an ability to overcome. (Vi) to train and it is amazing to see it and see how grew and all. I have not spoken with her in a long time. I know that he has had his own demons she dealt with and I hope that he is doing well. I cannot see on television when she was there. "Billy (Gunn) spoke with her when she was there in Orlando when they filmed the TV and said that she is doing very well."
"It was a great girl." It really was one of the guys without trying to say anything, everyone always had ribbed about being a boy. It was not a boy, she was a child. It definitely had the attitude and the camaraderie. I had a great sense of humor, it was fun. I am sure yet, but all become someone that we ourselves when they use drugs and use too much alcohol. Before everything happened to it, I think the world of wrestling brought out in her because she was not the case in the first. She was not eccentric to everyone. She was not the case. She really level was headed and fun that around and so I hope that she is doing well now.

You can say, Power Trip Wrestling will be a new part of the United Kingdom. This scheduled show may be the first, but we have many now reserved dates calendar, to get back there already; and we are very excited about diversification in Staffordshire. This is the first of two shows to PTW presented in Staffordshire in June, and very soon will announce the details of the other.
We have more coming events in the area of Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire in July, as well, and many major news and events in the Office of PTW, so a look as the coming weeks and months of PTW looking very good.
By the way, we were looking for some kind of comment in the next round, but all calls are diverted by a man who usually is no stranger to speak his mind; Most residents of PTW, P.T. player; It was clearly very inaccessible, refused to talk at all about any subject, including several rumours of PTW and himself. The single sentence that could be considered fit for print we had shouted at us, "what part of no comment not idiots understand?", which has left, without a doubt, the company with more questions than answers, at the current moment.

Special WWE Tough Enough Filming, RAW Stars Missing from Current Tour and More

May 13, 2011 - 9:10:35 AM - WWE has released a new Divas Bling t-shirt, a new retro RAW is WAR t-shirt and a new retro WCW hat & t-shirt.
- Percy Watson is currently on the road with WWE's RAW brand in Mexico. Last night in Guadalajara, Watson picked up a win over Zack Ryder.
- As of last night, Drew McIntyre and Ricardo Rodriguez were not on the current RAW brand tour of Mexico. McIntyre was in attendance for last night's FCW show.
- WWE's FCW has announced that there will be a special Tough Enough filming on Thursday, May 19th at the FCW Arena in Tampa, Florida. The cast of Tough Enough will be there along with trainers Booker T and Trish Stratus. The doors open at 6pm for fans and filming begins at 7pm.

- After yesterday's RAW in London, John Cena and Randy Orton beat CM Punk and The Miz in the dark main event. Linda sent word that Punk and The Miz goofed off for most of the match, with Punk hiding in the Cole Mine and doing a splash ala Earthquake.
- Edge told fans in his farewell speeches on the current European tour that when the decision was made for him to retire last week, WWE wanted to pull him from the tour but he insisted that he go anyway to say farewell to the fans.
