The official website of Florida Championship Wrestling has removed developmental wrestler Rodney Thomas from their roster section, which would indicate that he has been released from his contract with WWE.

Thomas, previously known as "Shotgun" Brock Barker on the Canadian independent wrestling scene, is a graduate of Lance Storm's professional wrestling academy in Calgary, Alberta. He signed a developmental contract with WWE earlier this year following a tryout.

Meanwhile, Tough Enough winner Andy Leavine has been added to their roster under the name Kevin Hackman. Photos of Leavine holding the Tough Enough Championship are enclosed but no mention is made of the Florida native winning the reality television series.

Leavine has been training at their Tampa facility since June, during which he was reportedly suspended for a violation of WWE's Talent Wellness Program. He has since returned to action.

At last night's Florida Championship Wrestling live event at the FCW Arena in Tampa, four new WWE developmental talents were introduced.

Raquel Diaz (Shaul Guerrero) hosted a segment introducing three of the new FCW talents who are about to make to make their in ring debuts. Each talent was also allowed time to cut a promo.

"The Bashing Bulgarian" Miroslav Makarov: Makarov is the Bulgarin ever signed to the WWE. This powerhouse from the city of Plovdiv relocated to California where he trained at Knokx Pro Wrestling Academy. In his promo he said he wasn't here to make friends or win fans... He is only here to dominate FCW and the WWE.

Ashley Miller: This charismatic brunette diva from Houston, TX cut a babyface promo telling the audience that she wants to be the reason everyone comes out to FCW.

Ryan Nemeth: This former OVW star from Cleveland, OH is the younger brother of former World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler. He cut a smarmy promo thanking everyone in the audience in the for the opportunity, then stated after we see him perform in the ring WE will be saying 'thank you'.

In addition to those mentioned above, "Shotgun" Brock Barker (Brandon Barker), from Lance Storm's Wrestling Academy, had a strong FCW debut in 6 man tag loss with his partners Donny Marlow and Big E Langston to Bobby Dutch, Jinder Mahal, & current NXT rookie Conor O'Brian.

- WWE developmental star Richie Steamboat recently spoke with The Miami Herald. Here are a few highlights:

Growing up around other wrestler's sons:
"Growing up I knew the Usos [Rikishi Fatu’s sons] and Brett DiBiase [Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase’s son] and Joe Hennig [Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig’s son]. A lot of those guys I would see them around the buildings at shows, and we would try touch the forklifts and get into trouble like that, being kids."

Being on the amateur wrestling circuit with his father and The Flairs:
"We would travel to about 80 percent of the same wrestling tournaments, and there would be an occasion where I would look across the mat, and I would see Reid and his father, Ric, standing there, and I would be competing against him. It was always a very friendly rivalry. The fathers had a little bit more of a rivalry than we did, but I’ll tell you this; Reid never beat me."

Training at WWE's FCW developmental territory:
"This is the best facility in the world. We’ve got some of the best trainers in the world, Dr. Tom Prichard, Norman Smiley, Joey Mercury, my father Ricky Steamboat, Dusty Rhodes. They’re open to all of us, seven days a week. It’s great. You can come in here with any questions, any concerns about moves, anything at all. They’re open and honest, and they’re here to help. It’s a very, very good establishment."
