- As seen on RAW last night, WWE Champion Alberto del Rio is featured on the cover of the new edition of man magazine, a magazine aimed at Latino men. Here are some highlights from the interview in the Rio:

H: come from a family of wrestlers, and now must be very proud of you. There are lot of pressure a to defend the family name?

ADR: Well Yes, because not so popular in the United States my dad and my uncle because here fought 35, 40 years ago. But Mexico, a dynasty of great. They are the most popular in Mexican history wrestlers. So in Mexico there was lot of pressure for me. But I am sure that I'm making a lot of work now; I am the first Mexican in the history to become the WWE champion, and really this year won everything: money in the Bank, the Royal Rumble, WWE title. I can only say that this year was perfect for me.

H: take its own action figure is a very nice thing in WWE. What was your reaction when you were first approached about it?

ADR: it was just waiting to happen, it was great. I was excited when they told me…and when I saw the action figure for the first time was amazing, because I think: the face, hair, the smile… captured me all the way in this action figure.

Does HD: what to do if you were a wrestler?

ADR: I'm an architect. I finished my career in Mexico, but it really was for my father. I am really glad I finished my school, but when he was younger he left school in my second year because he was so crazy to become a wrestler and my dad forced me to return. He spoke with all the promoters in Mexico once I did that and said to them, "not give this guy a job because he wanted to finish school." Of course when I was younger I was mad that my father did, but I appreciate just as it did because now I have something more. Probably if it was not a wrestler now that I would be designing buildings or construction of houses in Mexico.

HD: what are your expectations for the future?

ADR: As I said, this year was great for me, won all, starting with the Royal Rumble, then the money in the Bank. Then, who conquered the title of WWE. WrestleMania, which is like the Superbowl of the struggle we had earlier this year. In WrestleMania competed for the title of heavyweight in the world; Unfortunately, I lost against Edge, and that it was actually last Edge match, so it is something that stuck in my mind, I can not sleep because I'm thinking about it all the time. It was my biggest night and my greatest failure because we are in front of the 80 some thousand people and sold us 2 million for payment of views. My plans are to retain the WWE title as I can and if someday lose this title to try to return to the brand, which is of Smackdown and competes for the world heavyweight title, because that is something that I do. I must be the first Mexican wrestler in history to win everything in a year.

Do H: thinks in the footsteps of those such as Hulk Hogan and the Rock, which has ventured into other forms of entertainment?

ADR: definitely. Now I'm totally focused on the WWE and my career, but that is something I want to do. I am planning to make the WWE for a further five or six years, more than that, and of course if they invite me to make films, soap operas, whatever, I am down for it!

- Storyline plans for Maryse prior to her departure from WWE were to work an angle where Hornswoggle would have a crush on her.

Speaking of Maryse there is no love loss between her and Goldust. He was on asked on Twitter if he will her and he bluntly responded “No,” before warning: “Quit asking me about maryse or get blocked.”

- Tommy Dreamer was recently on Busted Open on Sirius Radio. He discussed leaving TNA:
“There was a lot of things. It was .. contracts and it just whatever. I didn’t put up with a lot of stuff in WWE, I’m not gonna’ put up with stuff in TNA. And you know what? I miss everybody in WWE, and I miss everybody in TNA, but,..I’m happy in my life and at 40 years old, if I can’t, I don’t want to say do it my way, but again, not seeing things done logically, and looking at stuff from a business point of view. Then I just say it doesn’t make sense to me, and it’s like no matter how hard I work, no matter how much I destroy my body, no matter how much other guys destroy their body, if stuff’s not going to change, to me that really, really bothers me, and I don’t know. I guess I don’t want to be a part of it. I don’t want negativity in my life just because I’m in a way different stage in my life. I love wrestling. I’ve loved it since I was a little kid, and I don’t want to be the bitter old veteran who hates wrestling, and for a while like when stuff doesn’t make sense or they just do stuff to do it, and just do it, I get so mad. I just..I’d rather just walk away and watch it from afar, and be like an armed chair quarterback on Monday’s or Tuesday’s, ya’ know?”

- MTV Jersey Shore's Ronnie Ortiz-Magro tells The New York Post that wrestling was fun but he wants to continue acting and doing Jersey Shore, not pursue a career in the ring. Regarding his experience working with TNA, he said:

"It as really a great experience [working for TNA]. I grew up watching it and now I get to see it firsthand and experience it. You get too see that they really work hard."

- NBA player Enes Kanter spoke with The Salt Lake Tribune about his love for WWE this week and a possible career in the ring:

"Yeah, I've been to wrestling three or four times. … Not on TV, I was actually in the place. … It was great. I'm a huge WWE fan. You know my favorite is Undertaker. It was just great. Maybe, I was just thinking, after my basketball career I can be a pro wrestler. … I saw one in Chicago and the other was in Cincinnati or something."

- As noted before, Mick Foley returned at the WWE live event in Ireland yesterday to special referee John Cena and John Morrison vs. The Miz and R-Truth.

Foley also appeared after the main event of CM Punk vs. WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio. Awesome Truth came out to cause the DQ by attacking Punk, which brought out Morrison, Cena and Foley for the save. Del Rio ended up taking a GTS, Attitude Adjustment, Starship Pain and a Mr. Socko shot from Foley to end the show.

Former star WWE Fit Finlay was interviewed by the Sun United Kingdom this week and talked about his departure WWE this year, as well as if it has been in talks with TNA on joining the company.

Finlay, previously a producer WWE/agent, left earlier this year after he caught heat for the reservation of a segment in an event WWE where The Miz stopped the singing of the national anthem. Several members of the military force of the National Guard attended and took the offensive to the unpatriotic event.

As for his WWE departure, Finlay said:

"I love the WWE scene and miss enormously but not going to curl a ball not be there, just follow him." "There are no hard feelings on my version: take responsibility for what happened".

Finlay revealed that he has heard from TNA after his WWE release, but did not find its offer to him attractive enough to join the company.

"At one time or another, all of them got in touch and I heard but bids were not well," said Finlay. "They were not enough, it's not like it's my first day in business." "I've been doing this for 37 years and one thing I know is that you can not you sell cheap."

- WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin has a new interview up with The Sun. Here are some highlights:

Another match with CM Punk:
"I think Punk is a great guy. I'd say he looks up to me for what I did in the ring back in the day — and I look up to him for what he is doing now. I'd say it's a case of mutual respect. I hear the stories and if the stars aligned and all things worked out to benefit us all — the WWE, myself and Punk — I'd say that he is the guy I'd pick to face. I'm sure I could get another match out of this carcass of mine."

Working WrestleMania 27 and a second season of Tough Enough:
"Mania was a lot of fun. If you can't be one of the guys in the ring competing, why not be the guy who is pulling the strings in there instead? I enjoyed the experience and it's always fun to be in a WWE ring. I really get the fans and they still appreciate what I've done and continue to do. WWE has changed, it was a lot edgier in my day, but things do move on and that was my time I guess."

"It's fun being closer to wrestling again. I loved Tough Enough and hear there may be a second series. If a few other things get ironed out in the company first, I'd say it's a good 95 per cent guaranteed. My Involvement was a lot more hands on than I expected and I enjoyed that. Wrestling is part of my system. I don't miss the bumps, the travel grind or the pain, but I do enjoy it when I get back and feel the rush of being in front of a crowd."

Thoughts on Sting vs. Hulk Hogan & John Cena vs. The Rock:
"A year-long build is something no one has ever done so Cena v Rock will be very interesting. Rock is doing his thing in Hollywood so can't make every taping, plus you can't overdo these things. WWE are doing their part and keeping it moving along, but there is still a long time until the pay-off."

"I'll be honest, I hadn't heard about Hogan v Sting. That will be interesting too, I mean Hogan had back surgery didn't he? They are both great guys. I'm a fan of Sting's and he can still go with the best of them. I know Hogan well and he still has it when he needs it. It will be a very interesting night at the office that one and I will most certainly be watching Bound For Glory to see how it works out."

"I get annoyed when people say that such and such should retire, or they shouldn't compete due to injury or age. I know how it works and many of these guys find it hard to stay out of the ring. Hogan, for example, was put on this world to be there. There may often be money involved when guys step back in the ring, but it's more about their need to be there than the financial rewards. The other thing is that there are so few people coming up through the ranks who can match the success of guys like Hulk, Flair, Sting or myself. Cena may be the only one who has reached that level — I've yet to see another hit that peak yet."

- WWE Hall of Famer Rocky Johnson recently spoke with The Miami Herald about his son The Rock. Here are some highlights:

The Rock working with WWE again:
"He went out a champion, [and] it’s in his blood. It was in his grandfather’s blood. It’s in my blood. He is never going to get rid of it. Once you get into this business it stays with you through your whole life — whether it’s wrestling or being a manager or an agent. I’ve been in it for more than 30 years. It’s what he wants. I wouldn’t want him to do it on a full-time basis though. I told him, ‘You go back once or twice a year, or once every couple of years, because it’s in your system.’"

The Rock inducting him into the 2008 Hall of Fame:
"That meant more than anything in all the years that I put into professional wrestling. It was the culmination of everything. Now I look forward to inducting him one day into the Hall of Fame."

The Rock possibly going into the Hall of Fame next year:
"I’m not going to be the judge of that. Eventually he will be… I think he needs to be inducted in, but I don’t make that decision. We all live in Florida so I think it would be the perfect place. Though, again, I don’t make that decision."

The WrestleMania 28 match against John Cena:
"With John Cena and The Rock, I think is strictly business. There is nothing personal. John Cena is a fantastic wrestler who has proven himself and has been world champion. I think it will probably be the greatest match in history. It will be two great athletes going against each other. I am always going to say Rock will come out,” Johnson said. “He is my son. I’m not going to bet against him."

- CM Punk appeared on the 100th episode of The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani this week. Regarding Triple H's recent comments about UFC needing to evolve, Punk called it absolutely insane and said every business needs to evolve. Punk said professional wrestling has a lot of work to do.

Punk said he has spoken with Triple many times about MMA and that Triple H "just doesn't get it." Punk added that Triple H doesn't watch MMA and is missing the big picture - that UFC is indeed evolving. Punk also talked about how denying UFC competition is ridiculous.

Regarding MMA influence in pro wrestling, Punk said he would like to see less run-ins, more clean finishes and a focus on wins and losses.

Punk also spoke about WrestleMania 28 and said he would like to wrestle Steve Austin. Punk was asked who he is facing at the big show in Miami and said it would probably change a bunch of times between now and then.

The situation of CM Punk:
"I am more interested as a fan to see what happens." There is so much buzz around this. Punk has caused a great stir which has not happened in wrestling for a long time. "I am very excited to see what is going down and, more important still, seeing my best friend in his last WWE match."

Be happy now without WWE:
"I love where my career and my life is in." Don't get me wrong: I love to be with WWE and working with CM Punk. It would be surprising. But I've also seen many guys can say goodbye to the WWE and then sit around waiting for a call back that normally doesn't come. Its value falls until they do not have any following. I cannot sit and wait. "All the projects I make me creatively and monetarily happy."

The money after the Bank:
"If the rate of purchase for this show is high, basically says that CM Punk was only responsible for doing this kind of money." And that because of the things said, that people want to see something different and they have gotten into the car. If WWE realizes that perhaps it is time for a change, the possibility of is there. Yes, this will inevitably all put much money in the pockets of McMahon. "But it also puts too much power in the hands of CM Punk."

-TNA star speaks of Christopher Daniels with The Baltimore Sun this week to promote PPV of TNA Destination X on Sunday. Here's some highlights from the article:

How you and other children of the X Division seem PPV on Sunday as a chance to prove his fighting style to free not only has value, but can be a focal point of the company?

I feel like of which has already proved this point - not always continue to think the persons in charge. I feel like the X Division, when it began, which was what TNA different to everything in the scene. He also brought much buzz about TNA in the beginning. So I am as of demonstrated that point, but do not always the same. Sometimes things are misinterpreted and [the makers] feel as it is better to go in different directions. But it is curious that it always seems they keep coming back to the X Division. When it comes to a match box placed in the ring, the X Division is called normally, if it is the form of three between me, [Samoa] Joe, and A.J. [styles], or only one singles match between the me and A.J., Ultimate X or any of those things. When you want a surefire way to get the attention of people, often called Division x said this, I feel like all those who are in this program are looking forward to the opportunity to demonstrate that a PPV of all-X Division can certainly capture the attention of the public of lucha libre and they want money to see shell.

When Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff for the first time in TNA, quickly became leading pay-per-view in world title fights to jobbing to Val Venis. When he left, it was their choice or yours and you thought would never return?

First, there was not my choice at all. A kind of had blinded me, really. It was under the impression that something was in the works for me and discovered that there was nothing in the works for me. So I was disappointed in that, but at the same time immediately when he let me go, I was told that there were plans for me again, was only a matter of time and circumstance. It was not sure when he might return, but they told me that at some point I would like to. He had thought a little bit more than I was going to. But he always was in talks with them. I stayed in touch with them to see what the landscape and if there was a position for me, and ended up playing in March. I was fortunate that things were somehow and the position opened for me.

What match at Destination X more they expect to see?

I believe that one of them would be Kazarian and Samoa Joe. Having worked with the guys in the past that I have become friends with them and I know that his attitude is going to take this opportunity to steal the show. So I'm definitely hoping to see what they will do. I know it has been awhile since I've seen them together in a high-profile singles match. Southern California guy and the boys were in Southern California, there were many nights when we were all in the same locker room and the guys put in some great parties. Now here is 2011 and that they are getting the opportunity to go to once again, and is on pay per view.

-WWE Tough enough trainer Bill DeMott recently spoke with Alex Marvez news at Scripps. Below are some highlights:

Return to Tough enough:
"When I received the call (WWE) on 'Hard', I said to my wife what funny is that the man who got, chastised for what does and does is return to television." I suppose that in the minds of some people make a good character on TV, although I do not see that way. "When I was offered the job, not I thought twice before taking."

Cast of this season:
"The premise of this season is that all had experience of the independent scene (lucha libre)." Show how it has changed the business. Anyone who has purchased a pair of boots of the Internet or in a show of indy is now a 'professional'. I do not think that these kids were so hungry as they were seven years ago. The contestants were more relaxed. Some were interested in being a reality TV star. "I tell them that they will receive their 15 minutes of Fame, but they do not do one thing when it's on".

Winner TE Andy Leavine:
"He is 23 years old, is a monster (a 6 foot 5 and 270 pounds) and you can see that it is coachable." But this is not a place for someone weak. I've seen great athletes quit because he could not take the trip or manage themselves in the dressing room. Wife of Andy has just taken a second newly born. It will have that man above and really show that it is worth the chance that was him. Who wins 'tough enough' is not necessarily material WWE. I'm going to go out of my way to make him understand what he did was nothing compared with what is going to have to do now. "It will be interesting to see if it continues to grow and execute the opportunity or failure."

A return to the WWE ring:
"Not I plan to do any releases, but it's WWE." Do you never know when it is going to say, ' well, you want to do this?' "

-World Heavyweight champion Randy Orton talked to Roanoke.com this weekend to promote recordings of WWE SmackDown on Tuesday in the city. The interviewer noted that before the meeting, the controller of the WWE stressed that Orton is an artist of sports, not a fighter.

Q: from your perspective, what the best and the worst part of being a WWE superstar??

A: I would say that the best part of being a WWE superstar is travelling the world, meet people new and different from all professions. I love what I do for living. One of the things that people do not think - trips are good, but at the same time is very tired and you do not have an off-season as his regular professional football team. Now I have to my friends in swimming with their families in the pool. Yesterday they were barbecues. I was in La Crosse, Wisconsin, you know? I have a wife and a daughter, and can not see much.

Q: its law over the past years has been to be a heel (villain). Do you ever wish to face (hero)?

A: do not think that I am a true babyface. I made some minor changes, and the more time passes more changes I do. A: is terrible. I hope everyone's reaction would be somewhere along the lines. Terrible, in disbelief, saddened, mortified.

Q: what legacy hopes to leave behind in the WWE?

A: I have won every title must be won, almost, and I think that it is now my main goal in the longevity of my career. I've been around 10 years, but that is nothing compared with some guys in our business have been able to keep on top of a long period of time - as Triple H, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair. I want to be one of the guys who are household names, that when people think entertainment or WWE sports - whatever the hell are calling it now, I want to be at the top of the list. I want to be known throughout the world for the good news I am capable of performing in the ring.

Although it is likely tongue in cheek, it is these two in the Hall of Fame with Bruno Sammartino not. Granted, we know from what it is with Bruno, but once he finished his career in TNA should consider a blockade by many fans of wrestling to the Hall of Fame, if you want to go. What is the taking in the Hall of Fame of the WWE as an institution? View as a matter of marketing, or see as legitimate? Once again, as he saw-edged, really caught my attention that there was an audience that really believe in this Hall.

"Yes, I think that it is above." It is a legitimate Hall of Fame, for many guys is the Hall of Fame. It is a marketing tool and is the creation of a man and in the decision of some cases of a man, but there are some guys like edge, as Shawn Michaels, as the majority considered that the Hall of Fame as the sign of final exclamation point in his career. I remember that in 1996, was the a boy not invited to the Hall of Fame Dinner as they wanted to protect my character of the time. In 2003, has been of me inductors in the Hall of Fame of the ring in Madison Square Garden., because the event had not become larger than the own living room. There is no physical room real.
