- As noted before, WWE will be releasing an un-named The Rock DVD on February 21st, 2012. Amazon has added a Blu-ray page for the release, indicating that it will be available on both formats.
- WWE is seeking college students to work for-credit internships through January-May 2012. They are looking for college Juniors or Seniors with a wide variety of majors including Marketing, Finance, Communications, Legal, IT, Digital Media and more. Mick Foley’s Surprise Return, WWE Business Slumps, Tomko Was Broke, Divas On The Insider

- Mick Foley made a surprise return to WWE yesterday during the Dublin, Ireland Raw house. He refereed a match between John Cena and R-Truth.
- Compared to last September, WWE business is down across the board. Live event attendance is down 9% and DVD sales are down 44%. WWE.com had only 10.4 million unique visitors in September, which is down 10% from the year before and the lowest month in several years. WWE Shop orders are down 13% from the year before, although there was a spike in August due to CM Punk’s popularity.
The following are the most-shipped WWE DVDs of the year:
* WrestleMania (229,000 units, down down 9.5% from 2010)
* Best of WCW Nitro (135,000 units)
* True Story of WrestleMania (118,000 units)
* The DX DVD (109,000 units)
* Best of Raw 2010 (96,000 units)
- As speculated the reason Tyson Tomko could not initially raise the money for bail following his drug arrest, was because he’s struggling financially. Like many Americans he and his wife Michelle lost their home due to foreclosure, and his savings from wrestling soon dried up.
Tomko is currently completing a WWE sponsored rehab program.
- WWE Divas Eve, Kelly Kelly and Alicia Fox will be interviewed in the middle of a WWE ring for a segment for gossip show The Insider. It will be in regard to rumors that former Diva Stacy Keibler is dating George Clooney.
Eve tweeted, “Our @TheInsider segment should be airing later this week

-- WWE developmental wrestler Naomi is pictured in the official WWE souvenir program exclusive sold at the ongoing European live event tour.
Zack Ryder tweeted a cell phone shot of the page featuring Curt Hawkins and Trent Barreta, which includes Naomi.
Though Naomi placed in second in last year's all-female season of NXT, she is the last remaining contracted contestant to be situated in developmental. AJ, Aksana and Kaitlyn are all members of the SmackDown roster, while Maxine appears on NXT. She has, however, appeared at several non-televised events since the season's conclusion.
-- Inspired by the recent surge of news surrounding former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler, Brooke Anderson will join Eve, Kelly Kelly and Alicia Fox in a WWE ring to interview them for a special segment on the syndicated tabloid television news program The Insider. The segment was scheduled to air on Wednesday's show, but was postponed.

Batista In THQ's New WWE Video Game?, Alicia Fox Using Former Diva's Theme

-- As seen on Monday's Raw SuperShow, Alicia Fox withdrew her "Hot in Herre" inspired entrance theme in favor of a new entrance theme. WWE released her new theme on iTunes today and it is titled "Pa-Pa-Pa-Pa-Party." Former WWE Diva Maria used the theme in 2005 and 2006 before being given "With Legs Like That."
-- The October 23 episode of A.M. Raw scored a 0.41 cable rating, with 417,000 viewers.
-- Characters are still being finalized for THQ's WWE '12 video game (scheduled for released on November 22 in North America and on November 25 in the United Kingdom) and Batista may be included.
A THQ representative stated on Twitter this week that there's "still a chance" the former WWE Champion will be in the game.

- The next movie to be released by WWE will be “The Reunion” starring John Cena. The film will have a theatrical release the weekend of 10/21. The only date currently set for DVD release is the Australian market, who will see it on shelves in December.
Here’s the synopsis:
After the death of her father, a daughter (Amy Smart) is charged with fulfilling her father’s last wish – to bring his three sons back together… Sam (WWE Superstar John Cena), a hardened cop currently on suspension; Leo, (Ethan Embry) a loud-mouthed overbearing bail bondsman and Douglas, a handsome 20-year old thief fresh out of prison. Of all the success that you’ve had with WWE, ECW, and TNA, what do you find most fulfilling?
Being creative in ECW was great. Paul Heyman gave me the opportunity to be as creative as I was. In this business, a lot of people, you know, I don’t want to say “hold people back”, but you know. But I was a young kid and was brought to the studio and taught how to edit a show, and I’d just sit in the car and soak in all the knowledge he had and he’d help me. We’d bounce ideas off each other. I remember he and I would legitimately be fighting in the car on the way to a show. We wouldn’t be fighting for our own personal goals but for the goals of the company. And then going to the WWE and doing a lot of things behind the scenes there was another one of my great experiences. I’ve been hooked on wrestling since I was nine years old. I love to see anyone be successful and doing this… because this is hard and there’s legit only two real companies to work for. It’s not like baseball and football where there are 30 teams. WWE and TNA each have their own set ways. My success has come from being fan and getting the opportunity.
Tommy Dreamer’s take on women’s wrestling.
My personal take on women’s wrestling is that today, in the WWE, the women need more airtime and storylines. There are some very amazing and talented women in the WWE. In TNA, they get a lot of airtime. I believe they’re still the highest rated people on the show, which is pretty awesome for the girls. Some of the stories are a little kooky, but they’re still doing a decent job building up the women in TNA.
What was your favorite rivalry in the old ECW?
I’ve got to say, probably my favorite and most famous one was the one with Raven just because of the storyline we had, the longevity of it, I couldn’t beat him for three years, and when he left for WCW and then came back and we still hated each other. The best part of that feud was that it was a continuing storyline, which is a lost art. People are lucky to have a storyline with somebody for three weeks, but we did it for three years. Also, all the characters that came out of that feud, from Stevie Richards, Beulah, the Pitbulls, Brian Lee, it spawned so many different characters. When you’re doing it, you’re in the middle of it, you don’t understand what’s going on. Looking back, Raven and Tommy Dreamer pretty much solidified my career. As Paul E. always said, “once you’re over, you stay over.” I’ll never forget when I hit Beulah with the Piledriver and went into the crowd and hit my pose.

The Bella twins are pissed-off about an article published on the website WWE on Beth Phoenix and Natalya Neidhart was "Salvation" to a division of Divas invaded by models and bimbos. The article, which can be read here in its entirety, mentioned the Bella twins named as WWE divas do not believe 'diva purists' are appearing on television most talented envelope in ring performers. The beautiful wrote on Twitter that sparked the "embarrassing" article and wanted to share their thoughts with the WWE universe.

-WWE WrestleMania 27 in the Saturday night special on NBC earned a NET 1.1 in the demographic Saturday 18-49 rating and averaged 3.64 million viewers. While this classification seems low, it is really is not bad for what is normally called NBC on a Saturday night. The show moved in several markets due to the NFL preseason football, which obviously affects the final series. -In the PPV WWE SummerSlam on Sunday, Kevin Nash made a surprise return to WWE television and destroyed after his victory over John Cena, allowing Alberto del Rio to collect his money in the Bank Briefcase and leave the SummerSlam as CM Punk WWE champion.
It should be noted that Nash's official Web site lists several apearances for impressive Championship Wrestling promotion in September and October. It is unknown at present if Nash will keep those dates, now that it is a key piece in the history of the upper main event for the WWE.
