The September 2011 issue of Power Slam features an interview with Chyna, who discussed her brief fling with TNA Wrestling, departing from WWE in 2001, her experience with Vivid Entertainment, and more.
Chyna made her TNA debut at the May 3, 2011 iMPACT! taping as she was introduced by Spike TV network consultant Mick Foley. “The Hardcore Legend” introduced Chyna as Kurt Angle’s business associate and tag team partner at Sacrifice, where they would face Jeff Jarrett and Karen Jarrett. During the taping she also participated in a battle royal, during which she eliminated Jeff. The former WWE Women’s Champion explains how the partnership came out about.
“It was really odd because I got this phone call from them, totally out of the blue, asking if I wanted to get involved. I said, “Yes”, and I was happy to go down there,” she explains. “It all happened really fast. They called me, and I was on a plane the next day to Orlando.”
Her stint with TNA lasted only two dates; she has not appeared for the organization since Sacrifice.
“What happened after Sacrifice was [TNA's] choice: I did the pay-per-view, I went home, and then I never heard from them again,” she says.
During the June 6 episode of the Monday Night Mayhem podcast, Eric Bischoff said he was unhappy with TNA’s decision to use Chyna at Sacrifice, adding that she had a “deer-in-the-headlights look” upon entering the ring. She was asked for comment on his remarks.
“I don’t have any reaction to him. I’m living my life, and I’m happy with it. My life does not even pertain to him. I don’t understand that sort of hatred.”
The relationship between Triple H, her former real-life boyfriend, and Stephanie McMahon (with whom Chyna claims he had an affair and then left her for), was a major factor in her departure from WWE in 2001. She left the promotion on November 30, 2001, several months after she had been removed from television. Jim Ross later claimed that she was not fired, but rather chose to leave for personal reasons. Chyna, however, says otherwise.
“Yeah, I wanted to stay. I was not expecting to get a fax that said, “You will not be needed anymore” when I was still on contract. That was a surprise,” Chyna says. “They faxed me at the restaurant I was eating lunch at. That was the last time I heard from the WWF.
“It was horrible, it really was.”
Calum Waddell, who conducted the interview, noted that she altered her physical appearance during her time with WWE, specifically her face. She responds, “I just wanted to have [the surgery]… My reasons are personal. It was all my decision.”
Seven years after releasing her horrifying sex tape, Chyna made her triumphant return to the adult film industry this year in an extremely graphic pornographic film for Vivid Entertainment, Backdoor To Chyna. She comments on her affiliation with the adult video company.
“The thing I love about Vivid is that I have not had to sign my life away to work with them,” she says. “They are the number one company in the world, and are really pushing for me to be successful in any way I can, and I like that.”

Batista launches Twitter account - critical WWE product, explains weight loss

25 June 2011-4: 51: 07 PM former WWE Batista star has established an account on Twitter twitter.com/real_dbautista. The account has been confirmed by her official website, the Demon wrestling. He had published an introductory message explaining what has been up since ways with WWE farewell last year.
"For what I am giving in my rule of NO social networking because I promised my boy Josh Rafferty that he would like to... so here we go!" Batista wrote. "First shutdown!" NO HATERS ALLOWED! Hate HATERS! I wish to all haters style Nick Diaz ass woopin! go to another site!

Jeff Jarrett Discusses Kurt Angle, TNA's Recent Changes, the AAA Title

Q: You just got back from a AAA show in Mexico, where you unexpectedly won the AAA World Heavyweight Title. How important is that relationship toward expanding TNA internationally?
A: You nailed it. It's all part of an international presence. I guess you could say the title speaks for itself. The presence that TNA has in Mexico right now, it's all a part of expanding the brand, growing the brand. And it's the continuous evolution, so to speak, of TNA, and just broadening our reach.
Do Q: After so many years of turmoil, how would you describe the dynamic between yourself and Kurt Angle?
A: I've said this on the record many times: I believe when we step into the ring to face each other we bring out the best in each other. We've pulled out some of the hardest-hitting, best matches. It's a healthy business relationship, and an even better family situation. But Kurt's Kurt's and Jeff's Jeff, and put us two in the ring and we're going to have some fireworks, no doubt about it.
Q: TNA has changed the name of its show to "impact wrestling" to emphasize its wrestling content. But there are still a bunch of backstage vignettes. How is the show changing creatively other than just a name change?
A: That is something the viewer needs to decide. Because at the end of the day, from the day this company was founded, we strived to put out the very best in-ring product that we possibly can. Are we going to please everyone? Absolutely not. Are we going to try different things at different times and get great results? Yes. And sometimes we're going to get bad results. But that's all a part of growing a business and taking chances and trying to seize certain opportunities to help a business grow. I've been asked that question before about "impact wrestling." The wrestling's in the name, I totally understand that, the rebranding. But the viewers are going to have to decide on a weekly basis what they like and what they don't like.

John Cena is the face of WWE:

Okada not released by TNA, Christopher Daniels explains why issues of lucha libre
-The official website of impact Wrestling added Okada to his section of the list, which indicates that he has not been published by the Organization as rumored.

Last Warrior explains why is attacking A Hulk Hogan
Earlier this week, former superstar in WWE, the last warrior took the feud to the next level - releasing a preview of 7 minute of his next video 'shoot interview', that seeks to expose Hulk Hogan for the man who really is. Guerrero accused Hulk Hogan of be a scumbag of cocaine abuse that kept other wrestlers against drugs, so it could control--but still all sleeping with his ex-wife Linda. If the video preview is any indication, this will never be one of the most controversial interviews of filming.
Hogan said TMZ.com this week that he is considering legal action against Ultimate Warrior for his comments, but that hasn't stopped warrior to continue its mission. On Friday, Guerrero soared up the ' ol Twitter machine and published a statement in connection with its growing smear campaign against his opponent 6 WrestleMania. Warrior tweeted:
"This between Terry and me is somewhat larger than each of us." It's you and the value of his life.
People can do better things with its potential life that others but no one has more potential than any other with.
All of us are born with the potential to do great things and great life.
When one does, right thing to do is influence, inspire, and educate other human beings that have the potential within themselves, too.

Foley comments on the report online, Hogan explains why it is important to wrestling
-Mick Foley took Twitter to comment on a report in line that indicates that officials TNA Wrestling as perceived as difficult to work with.

Kevin Nash explains the working with next generation WWE, the talent and more

On May 31, 2011 - 5: 11: 05 PM - Kevin Nash recently spoke with Slam Wrestling over his future with the WWE. Below are some highlights:
Work with the new generation of WWE talent:
"I think that it is a good fit, to help young talents, especially now." The only people that can help young talents are people who have experience.
It is true that (previous generation) may not give them that much in terms of display (movements), but we can give them psychology - how to build a game, how to tell a story. One of the biggest problems that you had this business, it is that people who have taught fight always were 'mechanical', but have never been guys that have drawn the money. You need guys who have taken money to teach kids how to draw the money.
There is a different process to be an opening card guy to be a kind of main event. There is a specific form of which a type of main event works. "They are the things that I think that I can bring to the new generation of kids."
Things development of law in his career:
"I don't think that there are many people on the planet who have my size, my generation, my face." Most Giants are not exactly handsome and can be called "big Sexy". I've been blessed with a different package than the big guys. It was more mobile than most--even when he was beat up and torn up. And I had a good sense of humor. And, as anything else, the stars have to line type. "I was blessed things developed for me."

On his official blog on the new site, Waltman goes deep on his memories of the late, great "Macho Man" Randy Savage. "The period in which I arrived for the first time in WWF, Randy was still taking its Division of really tough Liz & Curt [Hennig] used Randy ride with us on the road." Curt was trying to get Randy of the funk that had been in by him encouraging. If someone could he was Curt & largely worked. Not only Curt. All friends of Randy were pulling him to get through this difficult period of his life. So there were many nights of me in the back, with Curt driving (always handled) and Randy riding shotgun. I wasnt even legally old enough to drink & I am riding with the perfect Lord & Macho Man Randy Savage, and part of the WWF. I can not express in words the incredible thing was for me. Curt would play country songs for Randy & talk about what was the song or the business. Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson "Red headed Stranger" was a favorite of Randy while driving with us. An album of Chris Ledoux was also high on his list. "Same album Curt has the idea to call Shawn"the heartbreak kid"from".
Waltman talks more about his fondest memories of Randy Savage prior to avoid attention to Brian knobs, which are seen in a show of wrestling in Newark, CA the night of the death of Savage. "There is some history between us, but not much in my book." What is a big deal in my book is when he came to the Convention and had me laughing and holding his chest, saying ' Oh yeah!' and he mocks have a heart attack. WWE legend explains how Randy Savage decided to walk from wrestling
Dave Meltzer of Yahoo! Sports has an article on extraordinary career Randy Savage and with behind-the-scenes details about how he came to an end.
Savage appeared briefly in the TNA Wrestling in late 2004 feud with Jeff Jarrett. On the December pay-per-view, the turning point, was scheduled to partner with Jeff Hardy and A.J. styles in a tag team match against the Kings of Wrestling, Jarrett, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. Savage, who had not fought in more than four years, the coincidence flakes, minutes before going to live the payment.
WWE Hall of Fame Dusty Rhodes, who was head of TNA booker at the time, recalled the tumultuous ordeal behind the scenes on a quote to the article.
"The last words that he told me, five minutes before the PPV, it was, ' I can not do it." "Don't want that the people I find so, see" "remembered Rhodes."Jerry [Jarrett, co-owner of the company TNA] called [the event producer] Keith Mitchell at me and said, ' change the main event. I told him, ' Randy, only to return home. Okay with me.' "That's the last words said to me".

Lesnar Explains Why He Was Envious Of Kane, Frustration With WWE Schedule
Brock Lesnar reveals in his autobiography Death Clutch that he was envious of Kane during his time in WWE because he wrestled with a mask on, which allowing him to maintain his privacy outside the ring.
An excerpt from the book is as follows: "I like to stay home, spend time with my family, and be left alone. My life is my life. It's nobody's business what goes on in my house, or with my wife or my children. I won't intrude on your private life. Don't intrude on mine.
"That's why, in some ways, the WWE character I envied the most was Kane. He had the greatest gig ever, because he was a big star who wore a mask on TV. When he went home, he'd get to take off the mask and live a normal life. Nobody knew what he looked like, and no one ever bothered him when he went about his personal life. He must have had about as normal a life as you can have in professional wrestling."
Lesnar continued about wanting privacy when he's not out performing.
"When I'm on the job, in the ring, at the arena, I'm there to entertain you. I understand that. You paid to see me, and I owe it to you to make sure your money was well spent. But when I'm not on the job, I don’t think I owe anything to anybody. If you’re a plumber, and you're out to dinner with your family, would you like it if the waiter walked up and said, 'Hey, the toilet just backed up, can you come in the back and fix it?' Probably not. You are there to eat, not to fish tampons out of the drain pipe. When I'm enjoying some time with my family, I'm not at work. I'm not 'on.' I'm not there to entertain anyone."
He also noted his frustration with WWE's strenuous road schedule.
"My first year on the main roster in WWE was a blur. My second year was even worse," he wrote. "The money was great, and I was buying a lot of nice things, but I had no time to enjoy any of it. That touring schedule just eats you up. I just kept thinking that there has to be a better way to make some real money."

Lilian Garcia Explains How She Got On Raw, Whether She Will Return To WWE

May 5, 2011 - 10:03:30 PM Following Osama bin Laden's reported death on Sunday, WWE announced that it would celebrate patriotism on the May 2, 2011 episode of Monday Night Raw. The program kicked off with former WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia singing "The Star-Spangled Banner," who ten years earlier sang the U.S. National Anthem at the first public assembly following the September 11 attacks—the September 13, 2001 SmackDown taping in Houston, Texas. Just as ten years earlier, a thunderous "U-S-A" chant followed her rendition of the Anthem.
Garcia revealed during a post-Raw interview for AfterBuzz TV that her surprise appearance on Raw was due to numerous fans requesting to WWE on Twitter that she sing the Anthem—following a message she posted Sunday night concerning bin Laden's death.
She explained, "When I tweeted about 'my gosh, Osama bin Laden has been killed, this is justice finally for the families', everybody started tweeting me, and they also started including @WWE in their tweets. And they kept saying, 'Wow! We definitely wanna have Lilian singing and you gotta be there tomorrow night and everything'. I saw it, WWE saw it, and that's how I got here tonight, because the idea got sparked by the fans on Twitter."
Her appearance was on such short notice that she received a phone call from WWE about singing the Anthem on Raw the previous night at 9:30 p.m. PST—two hours following news of Laden's death breaking. She hastily picked up a dress from Candice Michelle and with two hours of sleep, went on a cross-country flight from Los Angeles, California at 6:00 a.m. She arrived in Miami, Florida at 2:30 p.m. and managed to squeeze in a vocal lesson via Skype before arriving to the American Airlines Arena for the show.
Tough Enough Aftershow hosts Torrie Wilson and Candice Michelle asked Garcia, who parted ways with WWE in September 2009, whether she will be leaving them to return to the organization. She replied, "Do not worry about it!"
"I love the WWE, but the road, I'm just not ready for the road! She continued, "It was great coming back tonight, and it was great seeing everyone and being a part of it again, but I'm definitely a TLC'er."
Garcia thanked fans in a message on her official website for making her appearance possible.
"And thank you WWE Universe for all your tweets requesting me to sing!!! It is because of you that WWE & I heard you and made it possible!! It was a true honor for me and a night I will NEVER forget!"
