- Official numbers are not yet out but Dixie Carter and Eric Bischoff are claiming yesterday’s Impact Wrestling, where James Storm won the Heavyweight title, was the highest rating to date.

Carter wrote on Twitter:
“Two million viewers on Thursday’s IMPACT WRESTLING on SpikeTV – our most watched episode ever!!! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!”

Eric Bischoff sniped:
“Ever notice how the shows that the dirt sites put over get the lowest ratings and the ones they bury get the highest? hmmmm.”

- From Jim Ross’ Twitter:
“Spoke to Jerry Brisco today. He’s still hospitalized in Tampa after suffering ‘mild’ stroke on Wednesday. He’s feeling better & is a fighter.”

- It’s believed WWE may have posted bail for Tyson Tomko after he was incarcerated for several days unable to pay. According to his attorney he will also be entering a WWE sponsored rehab program:

“He’s very grateful for all the support he’s received from his friends, family and fans around the world. Mr. Tomko realizes he is struggling with an addiction and with the support of his family and the WWE, he is voluntarily checking himself into an undisclosed treatment facility to receive the help he needs for a successful recovery.”

Tomko was arrested after stealing Oxycodone from a pharmacy and shooting up in a Chili’s restaurant toilet.

- WWE have released some preview videos from the upcoming Greatest Rivalries: Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart DVD release.

Note: The videos will not play outside of North America.
