- Wrestling legend Bruno Sammartino is on the road to recovery after undergoing heart valve replacement in June. He is back lifting weights and doing minor exercise .
- It turns out Ric Flair suffered a broken bursa sac in his left elbow during his match with Sting last week. The injury occurred when Sting executed a superplex.
- Former WWE star Charlie Haas spoke with The Star Local news about the benefits of ROH over WWE. He said:
“A lot of people miss us or keep telling us on Facebook or Twitter to come back, but we like it better here because it allows us to wrestle and be who we want to be instead of having to deal with the politics and all the creative politics WWE has. We’re excited, one because we’re the World Tag Team Champions, two we’re just excited to be part of the company … as it goes down this new avenue under this new ownership, it’s really made us compete and bring it into a top level.”
- Paul Heyman discussed CM Punk‘s loss on Twitter last night:
“I thought @CMPunk and HHH (and all the others involved) put on one helluva show,” wrote Heyman. “It took 3 Pedigrees and a Jack Knife to beat Punk. I know a lot of people are pissed @CMPunk got pinned, but if you’re going to get beat, isn’t that the way to do it?
“As with everyone else, it’s all in the follow-up (right, TNA?),” he continued. “let’s see what they do tomorrow night on #Raw.”

Report: Lesnar and Heyman in talks with WWE + punk

According to backstage WWE sources, CM Punk mention Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar and Colt Cabana during his promo on RAW may have been no accident. There are rumors that all three WWE was able to return.
To rent the source notes, punk recently asked WWE where his friend Colt Cabana. He also demands that colt on the main list be placed. This was a point of contention whether punk with the company would re-sign. CM Punk about future, has WWES creative team been said, that he is finished with the company on the money in the Bank PPV. Of course that could change what decides punk to do, depending on. The most backstage he feel abandoned, is come July 17 WWE has an offer on the table now for him to stay.
As of last week, Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar were made either a business or have been at least in serious negotiations for a relationship with WWE. Lesnar regards, Word is, is he not returned to TV as a character. Heyman deal would be similar to the Lesnar. No word what the business is only.

On June 29, 2011 - 10: 15: 40 PM — a person close to the notes of the situation as CM Punk mentions Colt Cabana, Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar during his promotion on Monday premium has to do with all three of these stars possibly returning to WWE.
Apparently Punk recently asked his friend Colt Cabana are and put in the main, as one of the points list new Punk treatment if he must sign. Punk in regard to stay or going, creative WWE was said to be finished up in money in the Bank and most feel that he still is leaving, despite the promotion on Monday. WWE still have an offer on the table to Punk for him staying.
Lesnar and Heyman have apparently either made a deal, or at least are very serious negotiations to have a relationship with WWE. As Lesnar, Word is that he did not fight and won't be a TV character, must have a commercial relationship with WWE again. Heyman began to work with the company again under a similar agreement to Lesnar, according to the report by the Wrestling Observer.

Exclusive: Paul Heyman TNA wrestling creative vision
Paul Heyman was a guest at TVTrax for an interview. There, the former ECW head booking show among other things, the reasons that Paul Heyman TNA creative partnership does not happen and then discussed his planned approach to TNA wrestling. Here are the highlights of this interview.
Paul Heyman TNA wrestlingIn the summer of 2010 were serious talks between TNA wrestling and Paul Heyman on together work, ultimately Paul Heyman TNA rumors not come to fruition.
