Al autoproclamado "la voz de los sin voz" se le dio la oportunidad para expresar sus preocupaciones con la confianza del cerebro de la WWE, sus compañeros luchadores que merecen una mejor oportunidad, y si algo va a cambiar después de su regreso a la organización deportiva de entretenimiento. En tu estimación, ¿qué crees que es lo malo que hay en la WWE ahora mismo, y qué harías para cambiarlo?

"Lo malo con la WWE en este momento es que no hay suficientes jóvenes. La mayoría de las ideas son viejas. Trabajaron en la Era Actitud o en los años 80 - y no estoy diciendo necesariamente que sean malas o que estén mal, pero necesitan actualizarse, es necesario ajustarse. "Oh, Dios. ¿Cuánto tiempo dura esta entrevista? Sinceramente, creo que Dwayne pondría una linda vaquita azul en su título o algo así. Luego, por supuesto, Stone Cold pondría un cráneo fumador. No se. Creo que podría poner Straight Edge o algo de eso. Un par de "X"s podrían hacer que se viese bien. Hacer que se vea como un título debe ser similar, y no hacer que se vea como una especie de título de un rapero extraño. Siento que el aspecto definitivo, sin embargo, es al que me gusta llamar "Título de Bret Hart." Creo que a todos les gusta llamarlo el "Título de las alas del águila." Eso es un poco redundante. Ese ring es nuestro escenario. Lo que hacemos en el escenario es luchar. No estamos jugando. Yo estoy ahí luchando por la victoria. Victorias y derrotas significan algo. La lucha libre pasa a ser malditamente entretenida."

¿Es raro llamarte "Superstar" en lugar de luchador?

"Yo no creo que sea raro. Creo que todos somos superestrellas. Por supuesto. No creo que haya nadie más que pueda ser llamado así. ¿Llamarías a Brad Pitt 'superestrella'? ¿Crees que Brad Pitt puede hacer lo que hacemos? ¡Por supuesto que no! Brad Pitt se estudia miles de líneas antes de tiempo y tiene un entorno muy controlado en el que se ve lo mejor que puede. Tiene maquillaje, luces, hay gente que hace el sonido y todo. Si fuésemos así en la televisión en vivo cada lunes por la noche lo mataríamos. Ahí es donde la parte de entretenimiento entra en juego, pero es más divertido entonces una película de Brad Pitt. No hay repeticiones, ¿sabes? No hay Toma 1, Toma 2 - "Metí la pata, permíteme volver a hacerlo" Si metes la pata, metes la pata. Esa es la parte divertida."

Una cosa que has cambiado es tu música de entrada, ahora a la de Living Colour "Cult Of Personality" ¿Consideras algo más?

"No, es la elegida. Era un recuerdo de mis días independientes, pero también en forma justa. Tengo un coraje tremendo, me gustaría decir que esto era sólo una corazonada de que esto era lo correcto, cambiar mi música. ¿Me gustaba mi vieja canción? Por supuesto. ¿Era reconocible? Yo no he sido capaz de quitarme la canción de mi cabeza desde el pasado lunes. Es una canción que salió en 1989, cuando yo estaba en mi equipo de béisbol, y ahora acaba de saltar en el iTunes Top 200. Eso es poderoso. Que debe decir mucho de la gestión de la WWE. -WWE champion John Cena is said to be beaten much worse of what is left. Dinner is apparently suffering from neck, hip and elbow problems.

-Weight world heavy champion Randy Orton moved recently to a new house in a suburb of St. Louis. It was mentioned that Orton was advancing, in one of bulletins neighborhood that is sent. The above-mentioned stated that Orton would appreciate their privacy.

Tales of Tyler [73] Presents: The Daily Spartan [001] – Mailbag; Ask Sparty; FighLife Magazine

Hey, guys! What’s goin’ on out there in ReaderLand? I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m really pissed off at Vince McMahon for the MAJOR SMACKDOWN SPOILER. I’m not exactly at liberty to discuss this topic, though, in today’s column, but I promise ya, that it’ll be discussed to a lengthy value later on in the week. But first, I got some news to say.

But, I promise to bring you a different view of dailies, and trust me; we’ll have quite the joy ride . Anyways, that’s far too much jabbering on my part. It’s time to get some column writing business done. Today’s column, as you could probably see in the title, is going to be mailbag. Recently, I asked 10 of my most faithful readers to contribute to questions to yours truly. They all complied, and so here today, we’re going to discuss five off their questions! Less git ‘er dun!

QUESTION 1:
Sparty, you’ve been pretty critical of John Morrison in the past. Last night he put on a good match, and I just want to know your thoughts on him currently and where he stands going forward. – Jason R.

Well, Jason, as you seen in my Extreme Rules predictions, I thought JoMo was going to win the WWE Championship. As you seen while watching the PPV, JoMo came out of that match looking VERY good. He was within inches of getting the title, only for R-Truth to come and further their program. I’m not saying that a Truth-Morrison program isn’t a good thing, because it is. I just wish he would’ve got that belt. Especially considering SupahCena won it, in the end. I believe that Morrison has to be in good standing going forward. He has that playmaker ability. He can put on a show when it’s needed out of him, much like Shawn Michaels was capable of. That’s why I still to this day believe he’ll be a big player in the years to come. Probably not now, but as long as he stays healthy, there’s no doubt he’ll be the Jeff Hardy of the next generation. The PG era couldn’t come to an end quick enough for him.

QUESTION 2:
Ever since you returned to writing, you’ve done little to no mention of TNA. Why is that, and what are your honest thoughts on TNA? – Benjamin

I guess that reason would be that I just don’t watch TNA as I use to. You’re right, though, the only mention of something TNA in any of my columns since my return would be the first one, when I predicted that Pope would be a first time champion by year’s end. A prediction I’m starting to regret now seeing the way their booking him. Anyways, the most the last episode I saw was the one two weeks after the Jeff Hardy-Victory Road incident. Either I’ve found myself out doing something, or when I’m free to view it, I’ll normally choose Man vs. Wild instead. I was going to do a column over their last PPV, a preview of sorts, but the time came and then the time went. Nothing happened. I pledge to give my time to TNA going forward, though, especially since I’ll need material for daily columns! I might do a Running Diary of next week’s episode. Who knows…

Question 3:
Spartacus, what are your thoughts on Alberto del Rio? Why do you feel that he’s too young to be a World Champion in the WWE? – Ronnie S.

Ronnie, thanks for asking such a misconceived notion about me. I do not feel that Alberto is too YOUNG to win a World Championship. I feel he is to EARLY into his WWE run to be given the title. I don’t care how over he is. World Championship reigns for superstars so early in their career does NOT have a good track record. Look at Brock Lesnar, sure he was pushed to the moon, and if he had stayed with the WWE, he would be one of the biggest stars today. Fact is he did not. The reason, I believe, is that he got burnt out and bored with wrestling. When you spend your entire career trying to achieve something you don’t just leave it and then try to go for something different.  When you spend a year in the company and then get what you had always dreamed of, it gets old, and you want to go off and achieve that same success in another avenue. Quite frankly, Vince spoiled Brock Lesnar, and that’s the core reason why he’s no longer a superstar. Sheamus could be the next guy to follow in that trend, but I think Vince is doing the right thing by putting him back in the mid card, and making him get himself over and climb that ladder alone without the skills of the creative team. See, that is just what I do not want to see happen to Alberto. He has great potential to be a wonderful star one day. In 2-3 years, though. If they book him right over the next 10 months, then it might be about time to put the belt on him before he completely loses his heat, but not now. Make him earn it, Vince! Don’t let him play the backstage cards.

New Details On Sting's Negotiations With WWE, WWE Releases Digital Magazine

Apr 19, 2011 - 1:30:58 PM -- Sting surprised a lot of people by stating during a recent interview with The Daily Star that he was offered a match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXVII as well as a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame. People within WWE have said that there were no formal talks between Sting and the organization. They also say that Sting was not offered a match against The Undertaker, but there was informal talk regarding a legends contract and a spot in the Hall of Fame.

Meanwhile, TNA Wrestling sources believe Sting was telling the truth on WWE's interest level.

-- WWE returns to the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at 4:00 p.m.

-- WWE has released the first-ever digital issue of WWE Magazine. It features exclusive wallpapers, vintage vignettes, an interactive quiz and a real-time fan poll. It costs 99 cents and features The Undertaker on the cover. A preview is available here.

-- Jim Ross tweeted the following today: "Look for what I'm told is an awesome pkg on Raw Mon w/ many folks talking the wm27 bout between Taker-HHH. That's 1 bout I'd love 2 call. Don't know the details but wwe is interested in signing ou grad & son of Vader, Jesse White 6'1"-235. His fcw try out seemingly went well."

-- In the latest issue of WWE Magazine, there is an interview with The Rock discussing his career and his return. When asked about how many of his old ring outfits he still has, he said, "I still own it all. It's still with me in my house. It was never going away because I knew I would one day use it again."

When asked if he was going to return to wrestling he stated, "Making movies is something that I love to do, and I know that it brings a lot of people joy, which in turn brings me and my soul great gratification. Being in the ring and entertaining the audience and kicking ass physically brings me and my soul great gratification as well. I can guarantee that I can always do both."

-- The March 4 episode of WWE SmackDown! scored below a 2.0 cable rating, down from the prior week's 2.3 record rating on Syfy. The show prior to the record rating drew slightly above 2.0. Friday's number is in line with the show's average in 2011, which is slightly below 2.0.

-- World Wrestling Entertainment has released its 2010 annual report and it reports that approximately one million less copies of WWE Magazine were sold as compared to the prior year (from 4,026,300 to 3,068,000). Furthermore, publishing revenues declined $2.5 million in 2010 as compared to 2009 due to a 24% decrease.

-- The WWE website has posted new studio photos of Beth Phoenix.

-- One of the latest releases from WWE Films, The Chaperone, will be hitting DVD & Blu-Ray shelves tomorrow. Triple H will be at Wal-Mart tonight at 11pm in Dallas, Texas (1521 N. Cockrell Hill) to sign copies of the disc, and he will also be at the Wal-Mart in Norwalk, CT this Sunday at 11am (650 Main Avenue).
