- WWE officials were disappointed at how the crowd reacted towards some of the bigger stars participating in the walkout angle, and the fact that two of the people the crowd reacted to the most were Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler. It was considered a really bad sign when the announcers were perceived by the fans as bigger stars than the wrestlers.

- Internally, there was a lot of second guessing the agents' work in the Sin Cara vs. Sin Cara match at WWE's Hell in a Cell pay-per-view because they were exchanging high spots in what was billed as a grudge match.

- As noted before, it's believed that John Morrison will be leaving WWE soon. It's said that he has done nothing wrong or caused trouble for officials but there's speculation that like Drew McIntyre, Morrison is paying the price for who he was dating - former WWE Diva Melina.

Jeff Hardy checked into a North Carolina jail to serve his 10-day sentence yesterday. Hardy, 6-foot 1-inch and 215-pounds at the time he checked in, was reportedly wanting to get his jail time over with as soon as possible and that is why he turned himself in on Monday morning to begin the sentence.

Hardy was originally arrested back in 2009 after police found drugs in his home. Hardy struck a deal with the prosecutor after two-years of court room dancing, which saw Hardy plead guilty to two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy to traffic in exchange for a 10 day jail sentence, 30 months of probation and a $100k fine.

- In regard to the upcoming WWE Greatest Rivalries DVD, Bret Hart wrote the following on Twitter:
“Watched the DVD & I thought it was compelling, balanced, & honest. I’m very proud of everyone involved esp. @ShawnMichaels_ & @JRsBBQ. I believe the fans will not only enjoy it but finally understand what pro wrestling is all about from a passionate wrestler’s perspective.”

- In playing up his walking out storyline from last night’s Raw, John Morrison made the following Tweets:
Thoughts I had tonight during RAW tonight in Lafayette…

Miz & Truth arrested- I wonder if #missionarymike learned any new moves in jail? Heh heh…

…D—, I just got my a– kicked…

…I wonder if John Laurintis’s current promo work is any indication of his aptitude as a wrestler during past in ring endeavors…

…HHH says we work for the WWE universe. Hmmm, yup, I agree with that… I wonder if he’s going to mention my birthday… nope.

…If the WWE universe is paying our checks maybe the pay scale among us independent contractors should be a bit more evenly distributed…

…maybe forming a union is a good idea… all other entertainment and sporting entities have them…

…getting an individual health insurance policy after neck surgery is not easy…

…I wonder if HHH has an individual health insurance plan, or gets group coverage because he’s classified as an employee…

…Wait a minute, when did we nominate @wadebarrett to speak on our behalf? … haha, Barrett talks like a pirate…

…I think HHH may have over reached with this whole C.O.O. thing; he does do that from time to time- The Chaperone; Inside Out…

…no offense but, I think the best actor in Inside Out was a pickle. (A-RY was too nervous to laugh at that comment)…

C’mon A-RY, Garlic dill… you know, haha!… wait a minute… “no confidence” … we’re voting now? Everyone’s walking out!

I like chaos! If they all leave & I stay, maybe HHH & I could do 5 backstage segments, an in ring promo, and an hour match next week!

who am I kidding, HHH is a narcissist. He doesn’t think I’m at his level- His main concern is positioning himself as the center of attention

…maybe walking out will get HHH to realize he can’t do this alone, the WWE Universe wants to see different people in the mix…

…there’s a roster full of superstars that want chaos, that want the ball, that want to be on the road at every WWE event…

…the past is always afraid of the future…

HHH’s ego is hungry. He’s got a steak dinner every Monday night- but if he thinks his ego’s gonna snack elsewhere; I’m gonna eat his lunch!

JR Blog: John Morrison's Injury, Christian and the World Title, RAW

JR Blog: John Morrison's Injury, Christian and the World Title, RAW

Jim Ross is back with another blog update on jrsbarbq.com. Here are some highlights:

- Monday Night Raw was an interesting, two hour broadcast. Thought the Lawler stuff was the most compelling content of the night other than Cole invoking the Mother's Day dialog that I found to be uncomfortable. Having been to the rodeo a time or two, I realize that was obviously Cole's intention.

- WWE promoting Smackdown inside Raw was strategic and timely. Nice positioning. It also tells me that Christian losing the World Title wasn't any where near his 'professional, death knell' as some fans declared and that Christian just may be set for a significant period of time of his career especially considering the overall lack of depth within the business, as we speak.

- Good news on John Morrison's surgery to repair a neck issue. Not major or overly invasive and Morrison should be back in the ring in a month or two or so we assume. John would be best served to return later rather than sooner, make sure that he's 100%, at a minimum, not to mention it would be cool seeing him on Raw rehabbing himself back into ring shape which builds anticipation for his return. One suggestion to Morrison is to watch various Shawn Michaels bouts from different times of HBK's career to see how Shawn kept reinventing himself in route to becoming the best in the business.
