– IndiaToday.com reports The Great Khali has been offered a role to appear in one of Bhojpuri superstar Manoj Tiwari’s films. Tiwari’s publicist Shashikant Singh said Khali was considering the Bhojpuri film offer.
“So far, he has neither accepted nor declined the offer,” Singh said. “Tiwari had offered him a Bhojpuri film last year too, but Khali left for the US immediately after coming out of the Bigg Boss house.”

Hulk Hogan & DDP Starring In New Movie Together

Wrestling legends Hulk Hogan and Diamond Dallas Page will be starring in a new thriller movie from Corn Bread films titled, "Black River."
The film, now in pre-production, will be directed by Joe Eckardt (“Pizza Man”) and is based on a script by Eric Anderson (“Shock”).
Here's the official synopsis of the movie:
"After losing his son to a tragic accident, Clayton Elies life was destroyed by alcohol abuse and violence that ended his marriage. When he moves to the small Midwestern town of Black River in an attempt to begin again, he finds himself at the center of a series of murders that echo a long dormant secret from the town’s past."
"After several sleepless nights that lead to a long night of heavy drinking and a subsequent blackout, Clayton awakens the next morning to find his neighbor and her small child brutally murdered and the murder weapon inside his apartment. When he is forced to hide the evidence by the untimely arrival of an FBI profiler, Clayton’s life rapidly deteriorates into a storm of violence, murder and small town intrigue."

Jim Ross, a ring announcer and Manager for World Wrestling Entertainment, received the Lou Thesz award to the George Tragos/Lou Thesz professional wrestling Hall of Fame inductions on July 22-23.

The price is from the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan gable Museum and Eblen charities awarded.
A North Carolina non-profit organization that supports children, adults and families in times of need is Eblen charities.
Hall of Fame Gerald Brisco Ross presented his award an induction banquet on Saturday, July 23 at. The banquet takes on the five Sullivan brothers Convention Center in Waterloo, Iowa.
"Jim Ross has the passion and dedication, it, can this profession to make the best" said Brisco. "I think Lou Thesz would be honored to know that good old JR will receive this great honor."
Ross is one of the most respected names in professional wrestling. He is known as a professional wrestling commentator and for his work with World Wrestling Entertainment. Ross has been heavily involved with Scouting and talent development with the WWE.
Ross works consistently with multiple service organizations, including the support of our troops initiative, circle of Champions and get R.E.A.L. (respect, education, performance, leadership). He also has meetings with children with life diseases threaten involved.
"My hero boyhood Lou Thesz was," said Jim Ross. "Getting Lou Thesz award is an overwhelming honor." "I am not only in Waterloo for this event."

WrestleMania Tops 1 Million Buys, The Rock's Deal with Vince & a New Movie Role

Apr 30, 2011 - 3:52:02 AM - Vince McMahon said at the shareholders meeting on Friday that he is working with The Rock on a handshake agreement. Vince said he and Rock have operated that way for a long time. Regarding WrestleMania, Vince also noted that The Rock will get a part of growth above what they are projecting.
- Variety reports that The Rock will be producing and starring in a movie based on the life of African-American country music star Charley Pride. Rock's ex-wife Dany Garcia is listed as a producer along with Randy Jackson from American Idol and Pride's manager John Daines.
- Variety also reports that WWE's WrestleMania drew over one-million pay-per-view buys. WWE confirmed the news on Friday at the shareholders meeting. Variety's Marc Graser reports that this year's number is up by almost 30% domestically and 15% overseas. Officials numbers will be released in the next week.

Cena Films Movie After SmackDown, NXT Winner Wrestles a Dark Match
- The dark match before last night's WWE tapings saw NXT winner Johnny Curtis defeat Alex Riley. Riley spoke before the match and said now that he was on SmackDown, he would show he didn't need The Miz.
- After last night's WWE SmackDown tapings in Greensboro, NC, John Cena filmed a wrestling scene for Nickelodeon's "Fred the Movie 2" where Cena teamed with his "son" Fred against two bullies.
Cena and Fred came out to their own Titantron video while the bullies came out to Gangrel's old theme song. After the filming, Cena spoke on the mic and said the movie would be released in October. Sheamus came out and got hit with an Attitude Adjustment to end the show.
