Just a day after the Capitol Punishment PPV, WWE will host a further three-hour edition of Monday Night RAW.
This time WWE Raw goes under the slogan “Power to the People”. Here, the WWE Universe will be able to decide through voting the matches, opponnets and stipulations. Last year there was a similar theme for Monday Night RAW, which was then advertised as WWE Raw “Viewer’s Choice.” Superstars of RAW and SmackDown will come together under the same roof.

Punk states that the slogan is ‘Power to the People’, but people can not affect his career. Last week he defeated John Cena, and yesterday he was also victorious against Rey Mysterio. This would also mean that CM Punk is the new # 1 Contender. He wants his title shot in his hometown of Chicage at WWE Money In The Bank 2011 PPV. Punk wants the anonymous Raw General Manager to approve it.
WWE Raw Power To The PeopleThe GM logs in by mail and says he is going to think about it, but CM Punk should now leave the ring first. CM Punk refuses and wants to make it official now. The GM logs in again to speak and will later determine a new contender. CM Punk again refuses to leave and wants to stay in the ring until he is # 1 Contender.
The GM has no desire for this game and announced that afterwards, there will be a # 1 Contender match between CM Punk and Alberto del Rio come. CM Punk still grumble at the GM and the match changed again. This time it is a 3-Way between Cm punk, Alberto del Rio and Rey Mysterio.
Backstage are Kelly Kelly, Beth Phoenix and Eve Torres ready. The WWE Universe can now vote and the winner receives a Title Shot against Brie Bella next.

After the match, Mark Henry and Kane brawl until Henry slams Kane into the ring post and in the end Kane get the World’s Strongest Slam through the announce table.
R-Truth comes out and complains about the people. Especially when ‘Littly Jimmy’ was responsible for his defeat at WWE Capitol Punishment. Following further complaints, Christian comes to the ring. The talks of a Screwjob is agreed by Christian. R-Truth and Christian are in agreement – they both should now be world champion.
Suddenly, even Miz comes to the ring. The Miz also complained. Referee will be totally biased to be Alex Riley. Christian says, but that there is a difference. Miz had no title match. Now, they all start yelling at each other by using ‘Really’, ‘Randy’, ‘Riley’ and ‘Jimmy’. Teddy Long comes out and sets up for a 6-man tag team match. Miz, Christian, and R-Truth will take on John Cena, Randy Orton and Alex Riley. The WWE Universe can decide the stipulation.
Dolph Ziggler will defend his United States Championship against Kofi Kingston. This allowed the WWE Universe to determine the stipulation.

Monday night RAW WWE 06/20/11 got a TV rating of 3.1 points. The normal two-hour window were better, and received a rating of 3.3 points. The show was a total of 4.74 million people, looking at only the last two hours of RAW, it was seen 5: 07 millions no less than.
WWE raw power to the peopleNews comes from, that it coordination problems for the Evan Bourne game on Monday night RAW. In fact approximately 90% of the "power to people" vote went to Sin Cara as an opponent for Evan Bourne. Instead, Mason Ryan was selected due to technical errors.

Power Trip Wrestling present "Take your best shot", on Saturday, June 11, 2011, leek, Staffordshire
You can say, Power Trip Wrestling will be a new part of the United Kingdom. This scheduled show may be the first, but we have many now reserved dates calendar, to get back there already; and we are very excited about diversification in Staffordshire. This is the first of two shows to PTW presented in Staffordshire in June, and very soon will announce the details of the other.
We have more coming events in the area of Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire in July, as well, and many major news and events in the Office of PTW, so a look as the coming weeks and months of PTW looking very good.
By the way, we were looking for some kind of comment in the next round, but all calls are diverted by a man who usually is no stranger to speak his mind; Most residents of PTW, P.T. player; It was clearly very inaccessible, refused to talk at all about any subject, including several rumours of PTW and himself. The single sentence that could be considered fit for print we had shouted at us, "what part of no comment not idiots understand?", which has left, without a doubt, the company with more questions than answers, at the current moment.

Power Trip Wrestling Results From Luton, UK 3/12/11, 2 Title Changes

Mar 14, 2011 - 8:47:20 PM RESULTS & 2 TITLE CHANGES : Power Trip Wrestling's 4th Birthday Show, Sat 12th March, Icknield High School, Luton.
What a night! Wild, crazy, even more of the infamous and charismatic PTW spirit than ever before; and some serious shocks, surprises, swerves,...and of course, Snugglemuffins!
* The show kicked off with the youngest general manager in professional wrestling (at 11 years old), 'The Future of PTW' Drewy Staniforth, starting the show on the microphone at what is his own high school. This was the beginning of what was a very assured and confident beginning to his tenure as PTW's GM, but typically, he was interrupted by the 'Disco Sirens', and the always arrogant P.T. Player accompanied by his tag team partner and co PTW World Tag Team Champion Tommy Stevens.
An argument between P.T. and Drewy ensued, and P.T. called his daughter out to ringside, and said that 'at least she loves her Daddy, and she's a daddy's girl', at which point she referred to P.T as 'a nasty daddy who is picking on her brother', which caused quite a tantrum from one P.T. Player. He demanded to know what Drewy had in store for him and Tommy on the night, and was told PTW Hawex Academy rookies Arashi & Steven Devine, which caused hilarity from the tag team champions, who refused point blank to take their opponents seriously. P.T said that if he and Tommy somehow lost to the 'rookie kids', he would take Drewy down to the local pub in the next road and buy him a coke.
* G 'The Ghetto Superstar' defeated 'Mr Clean' Anton Green. A quality back and forth opening match, which all enjoyed, and was contested very cleanly with full respect for the rules.
* Lewy Paradise defeated Chris Hart, after interference from PTW World Tag Team Champions P.T. Player and Tommy Stevens. Who then shockingly proceeded to beat both Paradise and Hart up around ringside, with some brutal kicks, and Paradise being thrown head first into the corner post by Player. One notable point is the intense personal issues (that are very out of character for Power Trip Wrestling's very much PG rated family show), on You Tube and Facebook, between Chris Hart and P.T. Player; and the exclamation point on that was certainly put there, when Chris Hart lay pretty much unconscious on the ringside floor; and P.T., in what he later termed as 'That's how us Luton boys roll', coldbloodedly stamped on Hart's head. This situation, once more, is very below PTW's sense of decency, and we are hoping that PTW General Manager Drewy, or promoter Hannah; will call an end to what is now becoming a situation that is of serious concern to many at PTW. An official ruling soon on this, we hope to have.
* In an 'Opportunity Knocks' Rumble, Mason Storm out lasted all other competitors to become the first ever PTW Internet Champion. We congratulate Mr Storm at the PTW Office, for a very hard fought victory, and his honour of becoming the first holder of the title belt.
* PTW World Tag Team Champions P.T. Player & Tommy Stevens defeated Arashi & Steven Devine. With deafening chants of 'snugglemuffin' from the very start, the odd sight of P.T. Player in full wrestling gear was accompanied by a whining voice that he was going to leave and "...and...and...I'm going to...I'm going to tell my mum....MUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", as he shouted to his mother at the merchandise table; begging her to make them stop chanting the nickname that he has gained over the months and truly hates with a passion. The match was controlled by the champions, even seeing P.T. calculatedly ddt'ing Devine; but the main work was done by Tommy Stevens, as Player was clearly picking his moments cleverly to involve himself. A running powerbomb from Stevens, then saw a tag that shocked P.T., but he clearly realised his brother was letting him take the glory; and Player happily took the pinfall win at ringside; and then the champions began to beat down the young rookies further, and once more showing their vicious, uncaring streak.
PTW GM Drewy Staniforth took the microphone, annoyed, and said that he was going to make them wrestle again, much to some serious complaints, especially from Player. And their opponents, unscheduled, would be G & Del Rico. G came out alone, said that Del Rico was injured from the rumble, and he promised Drewy and Victoria, he would 'give this his best shot out of respect to them'. He was jumped two on one in the ring, and Stevens and G took the fight to the outside as P.T. Player watched amused from the middle of the ring. The shock came, when Del Rico sneaked to ringside, caught P.T. Player with a very surprise roll up from behind; and we had NEW PTW World Tag Team Champions, G & Del Rico, who had a good giggle with the fans on the microphone how they'd outsmarted their arrogant opponents and taken their belts.
A far, far bigger shock perhaps, came when Stevens and Player were nose to nose at ringside, blaming each other for the loss. Stevens in particular was far more angry, and amazingly, the career bad guy was being encouraged by the crowd to hit his partner, and they cheered his name out loud. P.T. looked devastated, and wandered near to the stage; seemingly heartbroken to have lost the title, and unable to raise himself truly to fight Tommy Stevens. On the microphone, Tommy offered to take P.T out to the parking lot to fight him, and said that he would in fact do so, if he didn't win the PTW World Title in the main event. A low class incident followed, as P.T Player blamed the PTW General Manager Drewy Staniforth for the incident, and disgustingly, grabbed the dolly from the arms of Victoria, made her cry, and threw it at PTW's promoter Hannah, in what we gather was some kind of very personal reference that we aren't able to repeat here; and he demanded that she make the main event triple threat PTW World Title match a no disqualification match; which she subsequently did.
* PTW 5 Star Champion Kevin Carter defeated Bagheera, in an action packed match, that the crowd were very into; and for them, they were very happy when PTW's perennial underdog hero, Kevin Carter; retained his title once more.
* In another match that had the crowd gripped, but in a very different way, the as seen on national television Sean Midnight and Tracey Kilby, defeated newcomer to PTW, Dow Jones. There were chants of 'Willy Wonka', due to Jones's rather bizarre ring attire; and also a dance off, that simply has to be seen to be believed; and footage of which (and the rest of the show) will be online very soon on You Tube. But, in the end, the as always very popular Sean Midnight, won the match.
* In a ten minute challenge (most decisions would win, from that time period), the tag team partners of Nemesis, Dani Graves and Prodigy; went to a 1-1 time limit draw. The crowd begged for five more minutes, and this was granted by PTW's GM Drewy. These five more minutes, still saw no decisive winner; and in a 'only in PTW' moment, the crowd once more chanted for five further additional minutes; which wasn't granted, but a rematch with no time limit was promised for a future show by Drewy, which the crowd approved of.
* In the main event, the PTW World Title changed hands, and a serious blow to the entire structure of PTW was launched. Tommy Stevens sent P.T Player straight to the back, within seconds of him going to ringside, and P.T. sulked away as the crowd sang 'na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye'. The mood dropped to dark, as former PTW World Champion Mayhem made a shock return, and his presence set the tone for a strong main event. Then the newly turned good PTW World Champion Snare came to ringside, the this no disqualification match began, including weapons like a lollypop lady's stick, and other rather bizarre to say the least instruments of violence! One thing reasonably unnoticed at this point, was PTW World Tag Team Champions G & Del Rico, watching from the crowd. They took a quiet wander to ringside, and kept themselves to themselves; until the moment was right....and then they threw the entire deck of cards from the PTW table, by interfering, taking out Snare with no view of the incident from the referee....and the pinfall...1-2-3....and Tommy Stevens was the NEW PTW World Champion.
A further twist came when P.T Player came back to ringside, laughing out loud that 'you can call me a snugglemuffin, but you can call me a freaking genius too', as he smugly told the crowd that the whole situation throughout the show was a complete set up by The Untouchables, to get a hold of the PTW World Title. He continued to mock the crowd patronisingly, by asking them if they 'really thought they could come between him and his best friend, his brother, from a somewhat different mother, who he loves like no other' Tommy Stevens, and The Untouchables stood on the stage mocking everybody, including Snare who was alone in the ring. P.T demanded that his boys go back down and attack Snare in the ring, as Drewy the PTW GM said that his dad 'wasn't at all clever, and that the main event of the next show would be an eight man tag team match, with Snare, Mayhem, and the team of Nemesis, against Tommy Stevens, G, Del Rico, and Bagheera'. At which point, Nemesis ran down to ringside, and an eight man chaotic brawl rang out to finish the show, which was eventually cleared up, and the final words went to a suddenly musical feeling P.T Player and Tommy Stevens, who mockingly stood on the stage posing, with the following song known from many football matches.....
'Come and have a go, if you think you're hard enough'. And off they arrogantly strolled backstage, as Drewy Staniforth thanked the fans for coming out to the show, supporting a great cause, and that PTW would be back at the venue once more very soon for another show.
And that's the tale of PTW's 4th Birthday Show. New PTW World Tag Team Champions, in G and Del Rico. A new PTW World Champion in Tommy Stevens. The first ever PTW Internet Champion in Mason Storm. And as ever, the centre of controversy personified, 'The Loudest Player In The Game' P.T. Player; playing puppets and strings with people and their emotions; to get his own twisted way.
We'll be back with news of PTW's next show soon. But this heartfelt statement came from the PTW Office today, that we feel duty bound to share with you.
"We weren't meant to make four years old. We've had jealousy, bitterness, and all kinds of cheap tactics over the years that we've been subjected to by other promotions and more. We're the odd one out in this whole business, we don't live by your rules, and yet we dare you to find a wrestling promotion at and around our level who do more charity work than we do. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank the fans, we thank the wrestling websites, local newspapers, national television stations we have been featured on, we thank everyone of you sincerely. And to the boys in our locker room, for their dedication and backing up of the PTW Family spirit. We are the reality television of professional wrestling, where you truly never know what is going to happen next. And we're Power Trip Wrestling.....AND WE LOVE YOU TOO!". What’s up peeps? How’s it going out there? Good, correct? Before I start off tonight’s column, I got a question to ask… Would you buy an e-magazine covering WWE, TNA, MMA, Boxing, NFL, NBA, MLB, and Indy’s? Would you want to write for said mag? If you want to write please e-mail me with a written sample of your work, and me and my staff will get to it accordingly, and if you are something we are looking for you will be hired. That is all.
So, here’s the deal. This is a Power 15 of the top 15 wrestlers since the beginning of the year. It was a huge success back when I wrote the two pieces last year. So, by popular demand, I present to you the 2011 1st Quarter Power 15!
15. Sheamus
In at number 15 is a man who topped the top 15 not even a year ago. Oh, how Sheamus has mightily fallen off of the radar. After winning King of the Ring towards the tail end of last year he went on an epic losing streak. The streak continued on up through February until it came to a halt. On this fateful night Sheamus would put his career on the line for a shot at the United States Championship. The rest as they say is history. He may have had a very slow and dreadful start to the year, but he has made an impact in the closing. Sheamus is undoubtedly building the mid-card to good heights. The second quarter could be better.
14. Kofi Kingston
Next at 14 is a man who has had quite the opposite ride in the first quarter than the aforementioned Sheamus. Kofi began the year by capturing the Intercontinental Championship. The next month or so I firmly believed that he was on the ascend to a World Championship. It climaxed the night after Elimination Chamber, though, as I was positive that he was going to be added to the World Heavyweight Championship match making it a Fatal Four-Way with Christian also added. I was dead wrong, though. He proved to be nothing more than just a man who man del Rio look ultra strong heading into the spectacle of them all. Since then, he has been on the down fall. At this pace I wouldn’t expect to see Mr. Jamaican in the Power 15 at mid-year.
13. Daniel Bryan
Daniel Bryan Danielson is a man that desperately needs a change of character. The happy go lucky act is just not cutting it for him anymore. He was the indy darling because of his blood thirsty attitude, not because he was the ladies man. Given this it was a good thing that the E took the United States title off of him when they did. He has some good momentum building up going into the second quarter. A move to Smackdown definitely wouldn’t hinder him.
12. Triple H
I struggled with this ranking. I wasn’t sure of putting him in the 15 because he’s had one match. One match, and he lost it. I put him on here, though, ultimately because of how dominating he was in his math against The Undertaker. No man before him has put Taker through such a clinic. He did lose, though. I also believe that Trips is going to have a wild summer that could end in his final reign atop the WWE ladder as World champ.
11. John Morrison
Here’s the man who I was POSITIVE would win the Elimination Chamber match and go to WrestleMania and challenge The Miz for his WWE Championship. Instead he was put in the night’s pisser break match. I guess at least he was put on the card, right? Arguable, if it wasn’t for his actions involving Trish Stratus, he would more than likely be in the place that R-Truth is in right now. What a shame. I feel he may be on the downwind from here on out.
10. Christian
Christian is my uber favorite wrestler. I’ve been a peep since he created that phrase. But he’s long been dreaded as never being a World Champion. I believe that is all about to change in the next month. Dare I say it that Edge’s forced retirement could very well be the best thing to every happen to Christian. If it’s not, then I don’t know what is. Christian, my prediction to be number one at mid-year.
9. The Corre
The Corre could potentially be one of the greatest factions, ever. All they need is a little personality, and Vince to have faith in them. I do believe that Ezekiel Jackson could be World Heavyweight Champion this summer. If Wade keeps the Intercontinental Championship which he should as he adds instant credibility to the belt, and if Gabriel and Slater keep the Tag Team straps, they could be a very, very dominant force. All they need is a little push. A push as in ending the careers of The Big Show, and Kane. Yeah, you heard it here first!
8. Cody Rhodes
Mankind Jr.? Just seeing Cody so easily evolve his character over recent months tells you enough as to how much potential this kid has. My biggest fear for him was that Rey would bury him at WrestleMania. That never happened, though, as Cody prevailed and was able to fend off the push killing Mysterio.
7. Dolph Ziggler
Officially Dolph is a one-time World Champion. In my books he is not. Dolph started the year as arguably the top heel on Smackdown. At this point in time he stands as a top heel mid-carder. He’ll do battle for a World title by year end, but will it really be worth it after what he’s been through?
6. CM Punk
Punk just never can catch a break can he. He had an amazing start to the year by becoming the leader of New Nexus, and by taking down John Cena on numerous occasions. The thing that set him from 2-6 for me was how he lost at WrestleMania. He’d be the top man right now had he gone over. But no, creative has to be a dumbass and further push him down the totem pole. At this point, would it really surprise any of you if he faced off with Orton at the next three pay per views, and lost each of these matches? I know it wouldn’t surprise me.
5. Alberto del Rio
I still believe he’s sniffing the World title way to early. He deserves to be in the main event, yes. He doesn’t need to be sniffing the title, though, because if he loses, like he did at Mania, then you risk making him look weak. And I’d argue day and night that he came off as weak as fuck at WrestleMania. A match where he went over Christian would have been better served for him that night. But now, he’s in a match with Christian at Extreme Rules, and I’d argue that if he loses it’ll instantly set him off track. I just don’t like the way his booking is being handled. But you already knew that.
4. John Cena
How can he even be included here after being buried so bad by The Rock? Well, because he’s John Fuckin’ Cena.
3. Edge
I was almost inclined to give him the top spot after his retirement, but I figured that would just de-figure my rankings. He had with much doubt one of the strongest reigns of his career to close it. Some say he should of put over del Rio before he went out. Which if his career didn’t have such a short leash on it, he would of done. Tisk, tisk.
2. Randy Orton
Randy was on fire this quarter. The only thing he didn’t do was re-take his Championship. There’s so much more left for him to do with Punk, though. His shell is on fire, and the E knows when just to cash in on it.
1. The Miz
Not sure about the rest of you, but I’ve been sold on Miz for a little while now. He’s quickly becoming one of my favorite parts to watch every Monday night. It was good to see him put his dreadful first Championship defense be put to rest by straight-up dominating the first quarter. He honestly could have been tarnished beyond recognition had his feud with Jerry Lawler went just a little bit different. It’s safe to say, though, that he is on the quick track to becoming the face of the next Golden Age.

Power Trip Wrestling Results From Luton, UK 3/12/11, 2 Title Changes

Mar 14, 2011 - 8:47:20 PM RESULTS & 2 TITLE CHANGES : Power Trip Wrestling's 4th Birthday Show, Sat 12th March, Icknield High School, Luton.
What a night! Wild, crazy, even more of the infamous and charismatic PTW spirit than ever before; and some serious shocks, surprises, swerves,...and of course, Snugglemuffins!
* The show kicked off with the youngest general manager in professional wrestling (at 11 years old), 'The Future of PTW' Drewy Staniforth, starting the show on the microphone at what is his own high school. This was the beginning of what was a very assured and confident beginning to his tenure as PTW's GM, but typically, he was interrupted by the 'Disco Sirens', and the always arrogant P.T. Player accompanied by his tag team partner and co PTW World Tag Team Champion Tommy Stevens.
An argument between P.T. and Drewy ensued, and P.T. called his daughter out to ringside, and said that 'at least she loves her Daddy, and she's a daddy's girl', at which point she referred to P.T as 'a nasty daddy who is picking on her brother', which caused quite a tantrum from one P.T. Player. He demanded to know what Drewy had in store for him and Tommy on the night, and was told PTW Hawex Academy rookies Arashi & Steven Devine, which caused hilarity from the tag team champions, who refused point blank to take their opponents seriously. P.T said that if he and Tommy somehow lost to the 'rookie kids', he would take Drewy down to the local pub in the next road and buy him a coke.
* G 'The Ghetto Superstar' defeated 'Mr Clean' Anton Green. A quality back and forth opening match, which all enjoyed, and was contested very cleanly with full respect for the rules.
* Lewy Paradise defeated Chris Hart, after interference from PTW World Tag Team Champions P.T. Player and Tommy Stevens. Who then shockingly proceeded to beat both Paradise and Hart up around ringside, with some brutal kicks, and Paradise being thrown head first into the corner post by Player. One notable point is the intense personal issues (that are very out of character for Power Trip Wrestling's very much PG rated family show), on You Tube and Facebook, between Chris Hart and P.T. Player; and the exclamation point on that was certainly put there, when Chris Hart lay pretty much unconscious on the ringside floor; and P.T., in what he later termed as 'That's how us Luton boys roll', coldbloodedly stamped on Hart's head. This situation, once more, is very below PTW's sense of decency, and we are hoping that PTW General Manager Drewy, or promoter Hannah; will call an end to what is now becoming a situation that is of serious concern to many at PTW. An official ruling soon on this, we hope to have.
* In an 'Opportunity Knocks' Rumble, Mason Storm out lasted all other competitors to become the first ever PTW Internet Champion. We congratulate Mr Storm at the PTW Office, for a very hard fought victory, and his honour of becoming the first holder of the title belt.
* PTW World Tag Team Champions P.T. Player & Tommy Stevens defeated Arashi & Steven Devine. With deafening chants of 'snugglemuffin' from the very start, the odd sight of P.T. Player in full wrestling gear was accompanied by a whining voice that he was going to leave and "...and...and...I'm going to...I'm going to tell my mum....MUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", as he shouted to his mother at the merchandise table; begging her to make them stop chanting the nickname that he has gained over the months and truly hates with a passion. The match was controlled by the champions, even seeing P.T. calculatedly ddt'ing Devine; but the main work was done by Tommy Stevens, as Player was clearly picking his moments cleverly to involve himself. A running powerbomb from Stevens, then saw a tag that shocked P.T., but he clearly realised his brother was letting him take the glory; and Player happily took the pinfall win at ringside; and then the champions began to beat down the young rookies further, and once more showing their vicious, uncaring streak.
PTW GM Drewy Staniforth took the microphone, annoyed, and said that he was going to make them wrestle again, much to some serious complaints, especially from Player. And their opponents, unscheduled, would be G & Del Rico. G came out alone, said that Del Rico was injured from the rumble, and he promised Drewy and Victoria, he would 'give this his best shot out of respect to them'. He was jumped two on one in the ring, and Stevens and G took the fight to the outside as P.T. Player watched amused from the middle of the ring. The shock came, when Del Rico sneaked to ringside, caught P.T. Player with a very surprise roll up from behind; and we had NEW PTW World Tag Team Champions, G & Del Rico, who had a good giggle with the fans on the microphone how they'd outsmarted their arrogant opponents and taken their belts.
A far, far bigger shock perhaps, came when Stevens and Player were nose to nose at ringside, blaming each other for the loss. Stevens in particular was far more angry, and amazingly, the career bad guy was being encouraged by the crowd to hit his partner, and they cheered his name out loud. P.T. looked devastated, and wandered near to the stage; seemingly heartbroken to have lost the title, and unable to raise himself truly to fight Tommy Stevens. On the microphone, Tommy offered to take P.T out to the parking lot to fight him, and said that he would in fact do so, if he didn't win the PTW World Title in the main event. A low class incident followed, as P.T Player blamed the PTW General Manager Drewy Staniforth for the incident, and disgustingly, grabbed the dolly from the arms of Victoria, made her cry, and threw it at PTW's promoter Hannah, in what we gather was some kind of very personal reference that we aren't able to repeat here; and he demanded that she make the main event triple threat PTW World Title match a no disqualification match; which she subsequently did.
* PTW 5 Star Champion Kevin Carter defeated Bagheera, in an action packed match, that the crowd were very into; and for them, they were very happy when PTW's perennial underdog hero, Kevin Carter; retained his title once more.
* In another match that had the crowd gripped, but in a very different way, the as seen on national television Sean Midnight and Tracey Kilby, defeated newcomer to PTW, Dow Jones. There were chants of 'Willy Wonka', due to Jones's rather bizarre ring attire; and also a dance off, that simply has to be seen to be believed; and footage of which (and the rest of the show) will be online very soon on You Tube. But, in the end, the as always very popular Sean Midnight, won the match.
* In a ten minute challenge (most decisions would win, from that time period), the tag team partners of Nemesis, Dani Graves and Prodigy; went to a 1-1 time limit draw. The crowd begged for five more minutes, and this was granted by PTW's GM Drewy. These five more minutes, still saw no decisive winner; and in a 'only in PTW' moment, the crowd once more chanted for five further additional minutes; which wasn't granted, but a rematch with no time limit was promised for a future show by Drewy, which the crowd approved of.
* In the main event, the PTW World Title changed hands, and a serious blow to the entire structure of PTW was launched. Tommy Stevens sent P.T Player straight to the back, within seconds of him going to ringside, and P.T. sulked away as the crowd sang 'na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye'. The mood dropped to dark, as former PTW World Champion Mayhem made a shock return, and his presence set the tone for a strong main event. Then the newly turned good PTW World Champion Snare came to ringside, the this no disqualification match began, including weapons like a lollypop lady's stick, and other rather bizarre to say the least instruments of violence! One thing reasonably unnoticed at this point, was PTW World Tag Team Champions G & Del Rico, watching from the crowd. They took a quiet wander to ringside, and kept themselves to themselves; until the moment was right....and then they threw the entire deck of cards from the PTW table, by interfering, taking out Snare with no view of the incident from the referee....and the pinfall...1-2-3....and Tommy Stevens was the NEW PTW World Champion.
A further twist came when P.T Player came back to ringside, laughing out loud that 'you can call me a snugglemuffin, but you can call me a freaking genius too', as he smugly told the crowd that the whole situation throughout the show was a complete set up by The Untouchables, to get a hold of the PTW World Title. He continued to mock the crowd patronisingly, by asking them if they 'really thought they could come between him and his best friend, his brother, from a somewhat different mother, who he loves like no other' Tommy Stevens, and The Untouchables stood on the stage mocking everybody, including Snare who was alone in the ring. P.T demanded that his boys go back down and attack Snare in the ring, as Drewy the PTW GM said that his dad 'wasn't at all clever, and that the main event of the next show would be an eight man tag team match, with Snare, Mayhem, and the team of Nemesis, against Tommy Stevens, G, Del Rico, and Bagheera'. At which point, Nemesis ran down to ringside, and an eight man chaotic brawl rang out to finish the show, which was eventually cleared up, and the final words went to a suddenly musical feeling P.T Player and Tommy Stevens, who mockingly stood on the stage posing, with the following song known from many football matches.....
'Come and have a go, if you think you're hard enough'. And off they arrogantly strolled backstage, as Drewy Staniforth thanked the fans for coming out to the show, supporting a great cause, and that PTW would be back at the venue once more very soon for another show.
And that's the tale of PTW's 4th Birthday Show. New PTW World Tag Team Champions, in G and Del Rico. A new PTW World Champion in Tommy Stevens. The first ever PTW Internet Champion in Mason Storm. And as ever, the centre of controversy personified, 'The Loudest Player In The Game' P.T. Player; playing puppets and strings with people and their emotions; to get his own twisted way.
We'll be back with news of PTW's next show soon. But this heartfelt statement came from the PTW Office today, that we feel duty bound to share with you.
"We weren't meant to make four years old. We've had jealousy, bitterness, and all kinds of cheap tactics over the years that we've been subjected to by other promotions and more. We're the odd one out in this whole business, we don't live by your rules, and yet we dare you to find a wrestling promotion at and around our level who do more charity work than we do. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank the fans, we thank the wrestling websites, local newspapers, national television stations we have been featured on, we thank everyone of you sincerely. And to the boys in our locker room, for their dedication and backing up of the PTW Family spirit. We are the reality television of professional wrestling, where you truly never know what is going to happen next. And we're Power Trip Wrestling.....AND WE LOVE YOU TOO!".
