-The June 10th episode of the WWE SmackDown scored a 1.77 (1.8) cable rating, the same number as last week.
WWE SmackDown! the average 2.7 million viewers (2,712,000 to be exact), also the same as last week. This extends the range of streak of less than 3.0 million viewers on six consecutive weeks.
Before the program ratings downturn was the show 3.06 million viewers per episode in the year 2011 on average.
-Dwayne "the rock" Johnson posted a link to a YouTube video on Saturday of a woman to express express their love for cats. He added: "when John Cena was a woman, he would be this chick - U can embrace all desired fruit loop cats!"
Cena replied on Sunday with the following: "Hey Dwayne." Sorry not me to now see your message. I was employed by WWE live events. I know, u have no idea what in talking about… Its OK. I expect to understand not u. Enjoy your surfing. Sounds enough time as u have to find some really cool stuff.

Jim Ross Discusses WWE Announcing Future, Calling WrestleMania, Rock-Cena

Apr 6, 2011 - 2:33:54 PM Jim Ross published a new blog on his official website today discussing topics coming out WrestleMania weekend. Highlights are as follows:
Announcing again for WWE: "I'm not sure when I will be back for another announcing appearance but will embrace any opportunity to do what I love."
Calling the final matches at WrestleMania XXVII: "Announcing at WM27 was an adrenaline rush but I'll admit that I was rusty and had plenty of pre-match anxiety as I would have liked to have been able to prep more. Plus, one never knows after a long absence from WM's just how one will respond in the heat of battle."
WWE's one-year build towards The Rock vs. John Cena at WrestleMania XXVIII: "The journey between now and WM28 in Miami could well be very compelling especially considering that a main event has already been tabbed. I have no issue whatsoever in dubbing a main event a year in advance because that provides fans with a destination and hopefully the journey to the destination will be full of twists and turns."
Watching the premiere of Tough Enough alongside Steve Austin: "I hear that the upcoming episodes are much more compelling that the first, of which I thoroughly enjoyed."

Rock/Cena Presser, Ratings, Angle Changes Story, Flair Lawsuit Back, Miz Concussion, Steiner At Mania?

STAMFORD, Conn., April 4, 2011 – Arguably the most anticipated match in WWE® history was set tonight on Monday Night Raw®. WWE Superstar John Cena and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will face off at WrestleMania XXVIII on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Sun Life Stadium in The Rock’s hometown of Miami, Florida.
Last night at WrestleMania XXVII, The Brahma Bull™ denied John Cena the WWE Championship when he jumped into the ring and delivered a Rock Bottom to Cena during the title match vs. The Miz®. The Rock and Cena met in the ring just minutes ago on Monday Night Raw on USA Network and the challenge that everyone was looking forward to was finally issued. WrestleMania XXVIII will be broadcast in more than 100 countries around the world.
WWE® made history again last night as WrestleMania®, for the second consecutive year, became the highest grossing and most attended entertainment event in the host venue. WrestleMania XXVII grossed $6.6 million, with 71,617 fans from all 50 states and 30 countries attending the sold out event at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The annual pop-culture extravaganza was broadcast around the world on pay-per-view in more than 100 countries and 20 languages.
Ticket information for WrestleMania XXVIII will be announced later this year.
- The post Wrestlemania episode of Monday Night Raw drew a 3.8 rating on the USA Network.
The Hall of Fame ceremony pulled a 2.36 rating.
Tough Enough scored a 2.51 rating.
- Kurt Angle has further changed his story about making the anle lock comments on Twitter. He said on the Wrestling News Live show that his account wasn’t hacked, but that a family member made the comments while he was sleeping.
- The lawsuit between Ric Flair and HighSpots.com is back on after Flair decided not to settle after all.
The suit was originally filed by Highspots, who claim Flair owes them $35,000 on a loan. Flair gave Highspots the original NWA Belt as collateral for the loan, which they tried to auction off, but then another company Combraco, Inc., revealed they already held a lien on the belt.
- The Miz suffered a concussion during Wrestlemania when John Cena tackled him from the barrier to the floor during their main event match.
- TNA’s Scott Steiner was backstage at Wrestlemania hanging out with his former peers.

WWE Star Paints Photo of HBK for WrestleManiArt, Piper Responds to Rock/Cena, More

Mar 21, 2011 - 9:59:51 AM - WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper wrote the following on Twitter in response to recent comments from The Rock and John Cena: "Saw interviews with Cena and the Rock talking how They paved the road to Hollywood. They did great, but only ONE man paved the way. Fact!"
He then proposed a Piper's Pit segment with Cena and Rock: "The Rock and Cena in Pipers Pit....Straight improv!..Book it!! I an't scared of no ghost..."
- WWE stars currently scheduled for the WrestleManiart event on March 30th include Alberto Del Rio, Booker T, Daniel Bryan, Jerry Lawler, John Morrison, Vickie Guerrero, Ezekiel, JTG, Tyler Reks, Beth Phoenix, Trent Barreta, David Otunga, Heath Slater, Tamina, Natalya, Tyson Kidd, David Hart Smith, Alicia Fox, Santino Marella, Vladimir Kozlov, Melina, Curt Hawkins, Zack Ryder, Hornswoggle and Matt Striker.
Curt Hawkins has painted a photo of Shawn Michaels for the event to be auctioned off for charity. Hawkins recently showed Shawn on Twitter and Shawn said he would sign it before the WrestleManiArt event. Here's a shot of Hawkins' painting:

-- Best-selling author and Jersey Shore star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, who appeared as a guest star on this week's episode of RAW, was well-received amongst the WWE talent. -- As noted earlier, several cable companies are advertising Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson 'firing back' at John Cena on tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw. "The Great One" revealed his involvement with tonight's show on Twitter.
He wrote, "I won't be live on RAW.. BUT, John Cena and I had a much needed heart to heart talk this weekend at my home. U will see it tonight on RAW..."
