WWE Ring Breaks, Serena Suffers Concussion, Tito Colon To Main Roster? Punk Dating Phoenix

- At last night’s WWE vengeance PPV the ring broke during the Mark Henry/Big Show match. This was a planned spot and live reports suggest the ring crew actually “gimmicked” the ring during the middle of the match, in front of everyone.
- Former WWE Diva Serena Deeb of the Straight Edge Society, recently suffered a serious concussion. She wrote on Twitter:
“I recently sustained a rather serious concussion and following my doctors instructions, will not wrestle for a period of time. I apologize to those who were looking forward to seeing me anytime in the near future… I will know more next week. I have to undergo some tests this week and I will know more concerning my future then… I am out of the ring ‘indefinitely’ as of now. Until I get the green light from the doctor, I am not allowed to wrestle.”
- There are plans for Tito Colon, the cousin of Primo and Carlito, to be brought up to the main roster to form a team with Primo. The team is currently being evaluated at house shows.
- It was confirmed in a recent Maxim magazine interview that Cm Punk and Beth phoenix are indeed dating. In the article the couple recall Punk’s infamous promo on Raw:
“I was in the dressing room,” recalls Phoenix, “and everyone sprinted over to see what would happen when he came backstage. Would he get fired on the spot? Would there be some sort of fight?”
Punk entered a side door backstage, coming up behind the mob of wrestlers and personnel. They formed a circle around him. “Then, legit, everyone began to hug me,” Punk recalls. “I’m talking cameramen, guys who work the boom backstage, everyone.”

- Earlier this month, former WWE Diva Serena Deeb lost to Japanese star Kana in a match to crown the first-ever Divas Champion for Tajiri's SMASH promotion in Japan.
- Stan sent word that there was 1 hour and 31 minutes of in-ring action at Sunday's WWE Night of Champions pay-per-view, down just a bit from SummerSlam.
- Matt Hardy, who is currently in WWE sponsored rehab, turns 37 years old today. His girlfriend Reby Sky has been re-tweeting birthday wishes from fans and friends on his Twitter account today. She said Matt was dictating messages over the phone and if fans wanted him to see their messages, leave comments on his YouTube video.
- WWE's shop website now has The Ladder Match 2: Crash and Burn three-disc DVD set for order and a special package that comes with the Edge and Christian Positively Awesome t-shirt.

- Former WWE Diva Serena will be returning to Japan to wrestle for Tajiri's SMASH promotion from April 30th until May 3rd.
- Jim Ross wrote the following on Twitter today regarding Howard Finkle: "Congrats to Howard Finkle 2day as he celebrates official hiring as wwe's 1st McMahon hiree back in the day. Fink has appeared @ every Mania."
- The annual THQ Superstars Challenge where WWE Superstars & Divas will play the new All Stars video game will take place tonight in Atlanta.
- WWE has added a mention of The Undertaker and Triple H's previous match to their official preview for this Sunday's big match after a previous directive from Vince McMahon to not mention it. Here's what they wrote:
"Precisely 10 years ago, the two respected and feared Superstars squared off on The Grandest Stage of Them All at WrestleMania X-Seven.
