Spike TV Announces "Jersey Shore" Star Ronnie Is Getting In The Ring With TNA

Star of MTV’s “Jersey Shore” Makes His Wrestling Debut Thursday, November 3
New York, NY – October 20, 2011 – Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, star of MTV’s megahit series, “Jersey Shore,” will bring his pumping fists and bravado into the wrestling ring on TNA’s “Impact Wrestling” airing exclusively on Spike TV Thursday, November 3 at 9:00pm ET/PT. The episode will tape October 26 from The Macon Coliseum in Macon, Ga.
Ronnie will appear on two episodes of Spike TV’s hit weekly series with the biggest names in professional wrestling such as Hulk Hogan, Sting, Rob Van Dam, AJ Styles, and Kurt Angle.

TNA Wrestling sources indicate that organization officials are in negotiations with Jersey Shore star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro to appear on multiple episodes of Impact Wrestling. A deal is close to being reached, if it not has already been signed.
Ronnie is known as cast member who got into a major fist fight with Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino during the show’s filming in May.
Ortiz-Magro would be the first male member of the MTV reality series to appear for TNA. Jennifer “JWoww” Farley and Angelina Pivarnick have also appeared for the wrestling organization.

Chyna Says She Wants To Wrestle Jersey Shore Star Snooki
On Monday's RAW, Jersey Shore Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi made her WWE television debut, got physical with LayCool and was booked for a match at WrestleMania 27.
Former WWE diva Chyna says that "Snooki" is making a mockery out of pro wrestling - and wants to settle their beef in the ring.
Chyna, who last wrestled back in 2002, spoke to TMZ.com this week and said, "Snooki is trying to make a joke out of wrestling" ... and needs to be taught a lesson.
Chyna said she's also interested in laying the smack down on Snooki's co-star Michael Sorrentino, best known as "The Situation.
Chyna told TMZ, “I could take on Snooki AND The Situation in a tag match and have some fun doing it."

Batista's MMA Debut Revealed?, WWE Vs. Jersey Shore, More
-- According to MMA Weekly, Batista could make his MMA debut in May for the British-based promotion BAMMA. -- USA topped the cable ratings for the week with a 2.3 average prime time rating. SyFy ranked #15 at a 0.9 and Spike TV didn't hit the top 25. Last week's Raw hours were ranked #2 and #3, trailing only Jersey Shore.
-- The SmackDown! on February 18th after the return of The Rock on RAW garnered 201,000 viewers in the UK, which made it the most watched episode of WWE television there since August 16th, 2004. TNA's February 10th episode of Impact on Challenge TV had 152,000 viewers, which made it the most watched show on the network as well as the most watched TNA show in history in the UK.
