' Rowdy "Roddy Piper 'the story ends' A Randy Savage & Vince McMahon
-To add more fuel to the widespread belief that Vince McMahon held Randy Savage in contempt during the last years of wrestling legend, "rowdy" Roddy Piper stated Friday in Twitter that the champion of the world of 1945 he slapped after the President of the WWE in a bar.
He wrote, "Randy slapped Vince in a bar of...""End of history!"
The WWE Hall of Fame was writing stories about Savage after earlier in the day.
Former WWE talent Sean "X-pac" Waltman, however, do not believe that their supposed animosity is due to the incident in question bar. He wrote on Twitter in response to a fan raise the complaint: "respectfully disagree with Roddy." "Not that did not happen, but is not where the heat came from".
There is a rumor of internet for some time in connection with an alleged incident between Savage and Stephanie McMahon claiming to have happened several years ago, therefore explaining the Vince animosity towards him. Although never verified the allegation, editor of Wrestling Observer Dave Meltzer said in his podcast two years ago that at WWE people believed the rumor is true, but it is not known for certain.

STAMFORD, Conn., April 4, 2011 – Arguably the most anticipated match in WWE® history was set tonight on Monday Night Raw®. WWE Superstar John Cena and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will face off at WrestleMania XXVIII on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Sun Life Stadium in The Rock’s hometown of Miami, Florida.
Last night at WrestleMania XXVII, The Brahma Bull™ denied John Cena the WWE Championship when he jumped into the ring and delivered a Rock Bottom to Cena during the title match vs. The Miz®. The Rock and Cena met in the ring just minutes ago on Monday Night Raw on USA Network and the challenge that everyone was looking forward to was finally issued. WrestleMania XXVIII will be broadcast in more than 100 countries around the world.
WWE® made history again last night as WrestleMania®, for the second consecutive year, became the highest grossing and most attended entertainment event in the host venue. WrestleMania XXVII grossed $6.6 million, with 71,617 fans from all 50 states and 30 countries attending the sold out event at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The annual pop-culture extravaganza was broadcast around the world on pay-per-view in more than 100 countries and 20 languages.
Ticket information for WrestleMania XXVIII will be announced later this year.
- The post Wrestlemania episode of Monday Night Raw drew a 3.8 rating on the USA Network.
The Hall of Fame ceremony pulled a 2.36 rating.
Tough Enough scored a 2.51 rating.
- Kurt Angle has further changed his story about making the anle lock comments on Twitter. He said on the Wrestling News Live show that his account wasn’t hacked, but that a family member made the comments while he was sleeping.
- The lawsuit between Ric Flair and HighSpots.com is back on after Flair decided not to settle after all.
The suit was originally filed by Highspots, who claim Flair owes them $35,000 on a loan. Flair gave Highspots the original NWA Belt as collateral for the loan, which they tried to auction off, but then another company Combraco, Inc., revealed they already held a lien on the belt.
- The Miz suffered a concussion during Wrestlemania when John Cena tackled him from the barrier to the floor during their main event match.
- TNA’s Scott Steiner was backstage at Wrestlemania hanging out with his former peers.

WrestlingInc.com Exclusive: Shad Gaspard's Arrest & Story
TMZ has posted video of Shad Gaspard's arrest. MMA fighter Josh Barnett shot the footage, which begins just after Gaspard was taken to the ground. Shad can be heard saying, "Why am I being arrested? Because I'm big and I'm black?" One of the officers claims that he was resisting arrest. Shad feels that he is the victim of racial profiling, and that he will fight this.
In an update on this, Sgt. Rich Weiner of the Columbus Police Department told TMZ that Gaspard was spotted by an officer standing in the road and in the way of oncoming traffic. He told TMZ that Gaspard was belligerent and ignored requests from the officer to move out of the street and also refused to show his ID when asked numerous times.
Sgt. Weiner says that when the officer tried to arrest Shad, he "broke free from the officers as they attempted to take him into custody." Wiener then says the video that is posted online doesn't show the events leading up to him being thrown to the ground and then placed in handcuffs. Several onlookers tried to tell police that he did nothing wrong but cops were not having any of it and continued on with the arrest.
Shad on the other hand feels differently. In an exclusive update, WrestlingInc.com spoke to them this morning and his version of the events is as follows. Gaspard claims one of his friends was nearly hit by a car. His friends started yelling at the driver while Shad stood on the sidewalk. He says that's when an officer approached and told his friends to quit the yelling. Shad came over and tried to explain to the responding officer that he had just witnessed a near hit-and-run. This is where things took a turn for the worse. Shad was already ticked off at what he had witnessed and was asked by the officer on-scene for his ID. Gaspard questioned why as he didn't do anything wrong and was just looking out for another person. When he refused to show ID, he was asked to put his hands behind his back. Shad claims he then squatted down as to not intimidate the cop due to his stature and the cop tackled him anyway. As noted above, Shad feels he was treated unfairly and claims he's not going to stand by while cops disrespect him. He says you can expect a lawsuit shortly and they have spoken to an attorney today.
Shad is also telling TMZ he feels he's the victim of racial profiling -- and claims during his ride to the police station, he heard the arresting officer saying, "He's just one more ..." Shad added, "I don't know exactly what to do yet, but I will fight this as much as possible. I'm not doing it for the money, I have the means, I'm doing this so cops don't think they can do this to someone else ... it's not right."
I am working on getting Shad live on WrestlingINC.com's WZR Radio in the near future. I tried for this week but due to the legal nature and sensitivity of this, we'll likely have to wait until next week. I also expect to hear more from Shad at some point tonight. Once I do, I'll post it here on WINC. Stay tuned for that.
