Ex-WCW Talents Get Heads Shaved, Tomko’s Arrest, More

– This past Sunday at AAA’s pay-per-view event, Héroes Inmortales, former WCW talent Psychosis (a/k/a Nicho el Millonario), Damian 666 and Halloween lost a stipulated Steel Cage Match to The Psycho Circus (Monster Clown, Murder Clown and Psycho Clown), resulting in their heads being shaved. Psycho Clown jumped off the cage onto Psychosis during the match, who was situated on a table. The former WCW Cruiserweight Champion was carried out on a stretcher following the match.
– As noted earlier today here on the website, The Florida Times-Union has published additional details regarding former WWE star Tyson Tomko’s arrest Monday in St. Augustine, Florida on a felony robbery charge.
At approximately 5:00 p.m. Monday, Tomko entered the CVS Pharmacy at 175 Florida 312 and demanded a pharmacist give him all the 15 mg and 30 mg oxycodone in the safe. The pharmacist told detectives Tomko held his hand under his shirt as if he was pointing something.
He had been in the store two days earlier to ask for the same painkiller, saying he lost his prescription. The pharmacist felt threatened Monday and gave Tomko three bottles with 210 pills.
At approximately 10:00 p.m., deputies were called to a Chili’s restaurant at 215 Florida 312 about a person possibly using narcotics in the bathroom. He was arrested after he was found in a handicap stall. A syringe was found in a wastebasket in the bathroom.
Two of the bottles were found at a nearby Carrabba’s restaurant, where a man meeting Tomko’s description had spent an hour in the bathroom.
The former WWE Superstar was taken to a nearby hospital and subequently transported to a nearby jail, where he was booked for robbery. He remains behind bars in St. Johns County Jail — bond was set at $7,500.
TNA signed 5 X Division talents, Angelina love body
-TNA wrestling ion, Jesse Sorensen, Anthony Neese and kid Kash wrestling announced Thursday night on the impact of the X Division wrestler of mark Haskins, Zema commitments. Four New Talents Introduced At WWE Developmental Live Event
At last night's Florida Championship Wrestling live event at the FCW Arena in Tampa, four new WWE developmental talents were introduced.
Raquel Diaz (Shaul Guerrero) hosted a segment introducing three of the new FCW talents who are about to make to make their in ring debuts. Each talent was also allowed time to cut a promo.
"The Bashing Bulgarian" Miroslav Makarov: Makarov is the Bulgarin ever signed to the WWE. This powerhouse from the city of Plovdiv relocated to California where he trained at Knokx Pro Wrestling Academy. In his promo he said he wasn't here to make friends or win fans... He is only here to dominate FCW and the WWE.
Ashley Miller: This charismatic brunette diva from Houston, TX cut a babyface promo telling the audience that she wants to be the reason everyone comes out to FCW.
Ryan Nemeth: This former OVW star from Cleveland, OH is the younger brother of former World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler. He cut a smarmy promo thanking everyone in the audience in the for the opportunity, then stated after we see him perform in the ring WE will be saying 'thank you'.
In addition to those mentioned above, "Shotgun" Brock Barker (Brandon Barker), from Lance Storm's Wrestling Academy, had a strong FCW debut in 6 man tag loss with his partners Donny Marlow and Big E Langston to Bobby Dutch, Jinder Mahal, & current NXT rookie Conor O'Brian.

Ricky Steamboat Discusses His Son Richie, Talents at FCW and Taker-HHH

Apr 1, 2011 - 12:36:26 PM - WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Steamboat spoke with The Miami Herald this week to promote WWE's Florida Championship Wrestling. Some highlights:
His son Richie Steamboat:
"I never put his back against the wall because I knew his true love was racing, but when he found out how hard it was, even using the Steamboat name, it was really hard. Two or three years ago that happened, and here we are signing autographs together. I could have sent him straight to FCW, but I wanted to see if his heart was in it. There is a place in Charlotte with George South. He spent a few months there because it was close to home. Then I sent him to Harley Race’s camp for about three or four months. Then, after that, I sent him overseas to Japan, and he lived in the dojo with the Japanese guys. He came back from there, and I sent him to Carlos Colon in Puerto Rico. He was down there, and then I sent him overseas to Ireland and England where he wrestled the Europeans. This was all a test to see if his heart was in it. When he came back, he was so enthused about wanting to carry the name and be a pro wrestler. Then I sent him to Tampa."
The talent at FCW:
"Seth Rollins [Tyler Black] is very good. A product of Ring of Honor, I think he has been wrestling for seven or eight years. Bo Rotundo is another one. His father is IRS. A majority of the guys can be taught to pick up a guy for a body slam, how to suplex or do arm drags and all the different type of holds. It’s how you apply it. Some guys have two left feet and trip over themselves. Some guys are true athletes and move well in the ring. You can see that. It’s something you can’t be taught. That’s something you are gifted with. Those are the things I look for."
Triple H and The Undertaker at WrestleMania:
“I didn’t know that they were going to wrestle each other. I am at home watching Monday Night Raw like everybody else. ‘Taker comes out first. He was away injured and not being very active. Then all of a sudden they hit Triple H’s music, and he comes out. The two of them don’t even say a word. They just look up at the WrestleMania symbol. You got the picture. A picture is worth a thousand words. I called Dean Malenko up. I called Arn Anderson up. I called Mike Rotundo. I had been down at FCW, and it was Monday. I was going to watch some Raw, and I found out. They were both contemplating on what to say. They ended up saying nothing, and that was the best deal."

Which WWE Talents Own Tour Buses?, Cole-Lawler-'Mania
-- Randy Orton's tour bus on RAW last week is, or was, his day-to-day tour bus. I apologize for the earlier error stating that it wasn't his as he didn't have one last year. The only other WWE talents who have their own buses are Triple H and The Big Show. -- The reason "The Cole Mine" was constructed is because Michael Cole will resume his role as a mere commentator following WrestleMania XXVII and creative wants to keep him and Jerry Lawler apart.
-- "WrestleMania Week" kicked off today in Atlanta, Georgia as Turner Field hosted "WWE Night." WWE talent John Morrison, Mark Henry, Eve and Melina participated in an autograph signing prior to an Atlanta Braves spring training game. Morrison was named honorary team captain while Henry tossed the "first pitch of the year." The Divas exclaimed "Play ball!" to start the game. The signing drew approximately 100 fans.

When Will WWE Talents Arrive In Atlanta?, AXXESS Tix
-- WWE takes over Atlanta next Tuesday. That is the day that WWE talents will fly in and everyone on the roster will be doing local media appearances for radio and TV. Things will get CRAZY news-wise at that time.
-- WWE has been inviting some fans that purchased AXXESS tickets to take part in a focus discussion on what they like and don't like about the current WWE product. The fans that do take part in the discussion will be offered free tickets to the final AXXESS session and a private meeting with an unnamed WWE talent.
