TNA Keeping Hulk Hogan Off Television, Why Lex Luger Was At Impact Taping

-- Hulk Hogan nor Kurt Angle appeared at last week's Impact Wrestling taping in Macon, Georgia. Angle is suffering from a hamstring injury while Hogan is being kept off television for a few weeks as to not overshadow wrestlers TNA is trying to promote.
-- Hulk Hogan was scheduled to appear on the E! late night comedy talk show Chelsea Lately Halloween night but canceled due a doctor prohibiting from flying after he underwent dental surgery on Friday.
-- As reported earlier, former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Lex Luger was backstage at last week's Impact Wrestling taping in Macon, Georgia. He attended the event to visit Sting, his friend of over twenty years.

Dark Matches:
- Taeler Hendrix and Izza Belle Smothers defeated OVW Women's Champion Lady JoJo and Epiphany by pinfall when Taeler scored a surprise roll-up on JoJo.
- Benjamin Bray defeated David Osbourne by pinfall.
- Lennox Norris defeated Elvis Pridemoore by pinfall following the BroBuster.
- James Onnoo defeated Dre Blitz by pinfall following the double-handed chokeslam.
TV Taping:
- The TV taping kicked off with Christopher Bolin leading Bolin Services 2.0 to the ring. Bolin spoke about how Jason Wayne, being the TV champ, would now have to defend his title every week. Jason Wayne came out to the ring and said he had no problem doing so, and would gladly take on all three members of Bolin Services "tonight". Bolin laughed, then said his first match would start "right now!" With that, Raul LaMotta attacked Wayne from behind.
- OVW Heavyweight and Television Champion Jason Wayne defeated Raul LaMotta by pinfall following the Full Nelson Slam to retain the OVW Television Championship.
- Rudy Switchblade defeated Joe Coleman by submission with the Liontamer. After the match, a "wake up call" hit the screen and Jamin Olivencia was on screen talking about how he would make Rudy say "I quit" at this Saturday's SNS. After the video aired, Jamin ran out and chased Rudy from the ring. The crowd was insane for this segment.
- Raphael Constantine defeated Randy Terrez by pinfall with a surprise roll-up. During the match, "Sexy" Sean Casey came out to the ring and challenged Terrez to a match at the SNS. It was because of Casey's distraction that Constantine scored the win. After the match, Terrez said he would face Casey under his own rules: a 2 out of 3 falls Luchador rules match!
- Jason Wayne defeated James "Moose" Thomas by pinfall. After the match, Moose jumped Wayne from behind and left him lying in the ring.
- Shiloh Jonze and Johnny Spade defeated the OVW Southern Tag Team Champions The Elite (Adam Revolver and Ted McNaler) when Johnny Spade superkicked Revolver during an altercation between Revolver and McNaler to become the number one contenders for the OVW Southern Tag Team Championships.
- Cliff Compton and Michael Hayes defeated Brandon Espinosa and Ace Hawkins by pinfall following the Codebreaker by Hayes. After the match, Cliff and Hayes addressed the Insurgency to let them know that they were prepared for them this upcoming Saturday.
- Rocco Bellagio defeated Jason Wayne by pinfall following the chokeslam to become the new OVW Television Champion. After the match, Bolin Services 2.0 stomped Wayne and again, left him lying in the ring.
Dark Match:
- Alex Silva and Paredyse defeated the Insurgency (Mohamad Ali Vaez and Omar Akbar) by disqualification when the Insurgency wouldn't stop choking and closed-fist punching Silva and Paredyse. After the decision was made, Cliff Compton and Michael Hayes came out to the ring with chairs in tow to break up the fray.
This Saturday is the OVW Saturday Night Special. As of now, the following matches have been made:

TNA Impact Wrestling Taping Results|Spoilers 09 15 11 September 15 2011 from Orlando Florida.
Recap of the No Surrender Results, which saw Hulk Hogan helping Kurt Angle to retain the TNA World title. Meanwhile Bobby Rhoode wins Bound For Glory Series by defeating Gunner and Bully Ray in the same evening.
Fortune is out to the ring and they all congratulate Bobby Rhoode on winning the BFG Series and getting a world title shot at Bound For Glory 2011 PPV. Christopher Daniels taunts AJ Styles about beating him recently.
TNA World Champion Kurt Angle is out and announced that Bobby Rhoode must face all members of Fortune before Bound For Glory 2011. Because of Kurt Angle’s alliance with Immortal, he has the authority to decide these matches.
If the members of Fortune lay down, they will never get any title shots and drop to the bottom of the title rankings. But if they win, they can get title shots soon. Starting with Bobby Rhoode facing Kazarian tonight in the ring.

Karen Jarrett wants Traci Brooks to gather all the TNA Knockouts into her office.
Opening match is an 8 person mixed tag team match
1 Tara, Miss Tessmacher, The Pope and Devon defeats Sarita, Rosita, Anarquia and Hernandez.
The second match of the evening is an rematch from No Surrender PPV.
2 Samoa Joe defeats Matt Morgan, getting revenge for his loss on Sunday with a reverse figure four lock.
The third match is an Knockout match between the former Beautiful People founders.
3. Velvet Sky defeats Angelina Love, apparently this was in a TNA Knockout Tournament to determine the #1 contender.
The fourth match is a 2 vs 1 handicap match.
4. Jerry Lynn and Bully Ray defeats Mr. Anderson. Bully Ray knock out Ken Anderson with a chain.
The next match is a match between two Fortune members,
5. Bobby Roode defeats Kazarian via submission with the Crossface to continue his strong momentum.
This is our main event of the evening, Sting and Ric Flair wrestle for the first time since the final WCW Nitro. It’s the battle of pro wrestling greatest icons.
6. Sting defeats Ric Flair via submission.
This means Sting vs Hulk Hogan Bound For Glory 2011 will take place. The finish saw Abyss, Scott Steiner and Hulk Hogan come out. They distracted the ref while Hogan passed Flair the brass knuckles.
Flair attack Sting with the brass knuckles but it only got a nearfall. This lead to Sting comeback adn Sting wins with the Scorpion Death Lock to get the submission victory.
Post match, Sting and Hulk Hogan taunt each other to finish the show. No Jeff Hardy, Mr Anderson or RVD for tonight, maybe they’ll appear in backstage segments.

Unusual Props Backstage At TNA Impact Taping, Christy Hemme On Facebook

Apr 19, 2011 - 2:41:42 PM -- TNA Knockout Christy Hemme has launched a fan page on Facebook.
-- Magnus and Jeremy Borash will be in Nottingham, England this Saturday for an exclusive free meet and greet session with fans. The duo will be signing autographs and promoting the company's latest range of Jakks action figures at The Entertainer toy store in Nottingham's Victoria Centre beginning at 2:00 p.m. They will also be holding a Q&A session and taping footage for TNA Xplosion.
-- Kurt Angle remarked the following on Twitter today: "Separated my shoulder at Lockdown. Much pain. May have lost but I broke Jarrett's ribs. All of a sudden My pain is gone. Lol. Heading to TV."
-- TNA Wrestling is taping this Thursday's episode of iMPACT! tonight in Orlando, Florida and there are two big white horses and a carriage backstage.

Latest On Jeff Hardy's Future With TNA, Celebrity Sighting At "iMPACT!" Taping

Mar 30, 2011 - 1:19:13 PM -- Jalil Patel, an Indian film actor, model and singer who has appeared in numerous Bollywood films, advertisements and music videos, was spotted in the VIP area at last night's iMPACT! taping in Orlando, Florida. He was seated off-camera and had four to five security guards around him at all times. (Thanks to Nick)
Patel worked a dark match against Ring of Honor competitor Roderick Strong at the August 10, 2010 iMPACT! taping, which he lost.
-- According to sources within TNA Wrestling, no determination has made regarding if and when Jeff Hardy will return to action.
It was reportedly discussed that Hardy would return as a babyface, but sources say the subject was never broached. Hulk Hogan criticizing him a promo on the March 17 iMPACT! was merely done to explain his absence from Immortal.
Hardy's status with the company likely won't be discussed until after his April 20 court hearing in Moore County, North Carolina.

Former WWE Star Works "iMPACT!" Taping, TNA Beats WWE In UK Ratings, More
-- For the week ending March 20, TNA iMPACT! beat both WWE Monday Night Raw and WWE SmackDown for the third consecutive week.
According to the Broadcasters Audience Research Board, TNA iMPACT! on Challenge TV drew 157,000 viewers, down 6,000 viewers from the previous week. Raw on Sky Sports 3 drew 156,000 viewers while SmackDown on Sky Sports 2 garnered 137,000.
TNA's Victory Road pay-per-view event outdrew all WWE programming and equaled iMPACT! viewership with 157,000.
-- Former WWE talent Shawn Daivari worked last night's iMPACT! taping in Orlando, Florida, beating independent wrestler Ricky Reyes via Death Valley Driver. He was announced as Shawn Daivari.
Over the weekend, Daivari denied reports that he had re-signed with TNA Wrestling. He didn't, however, deny the report of him working this week's iMPACT! tapings.

Breaking **SPOILER**: Title Changes Hands At Impact Taping

Sting just defeated Jeff Hardy to win the TNA World title at the iMPACT! tapings in Fayetteville, North Carolina. This show will air on March 3rd, 2011.Sting wore a new outfit with red sequins and returned to his old-school look. In what was described as a decent match, Sting hit the Scorpion Death Drop and scored the clean pin. Sting got a huge pop when he returned. The first time Sting went for the Scorpion Death Drop, Hardy got to the ropes. Hardy was in control until Sting hit three Scorpion Death Drops in a row, including one from the top rope for the win.
We'll have more soon but it sounds to me like TNA knew they needed to get the title off Jeff Hardy due to his ongoing legal issues. The last we heard was that Jeff Hardy and his lawyer did not approve of the plea deal they were offered, thus why his lawyer called in "sick" to give them more time.

"I'm back in the WWE family. Last time you saw me was a surprise, correct? The next time you see me will be just as much of one. Right?
"I have a 5 year contract with the WWE. I'm sure in the next 5 yrears, You All will hear the Diesel engine again. Trust me."
Of course, this is Kevin Nash we're talking about so take these tweets with a grain of salt. He's been known to try and "work" the "dirtsheets" in the past. We hope to have an update on this shortly.
