Edge Awards Wrestling Scholarship, Linda To Announce Senate Run Tuesday

-- It's been rumored for quite some time and now it's official, former WWE CEO Linda McMahon will announce Tuesday that she's once again running for United States Senate next year. The announcement will be made Tuesday morning from the Coil Pro factory in Connecticut.
"I am running for Senate to help give entrepreneurs like Jeff the legislative support they need to succeed," McMahon said. "If we are going to get our economy growing again, government needs to be a partner, not an adversary to job creators. We need to send to Washington people who know how the economy works, who know how job creators think, who have created jobs and who have had to deal with the real-world consequences of the taxes and regulations Congress passes. You don't fix the problems in Washington by sending back the same people who created them. I'm a job creator, I'm not a politician."

Details on the incident of Mark Henry in recordings on Tuesday, the involvement of Vince McMahon
- As noted earlier in the week, a strange incident happened with Mark Henry after recordings of SmackDown on Tuesday where he was sent for a dark main event and waited for 20 minutes while several hit songs but did not leave any opponent.
Word touring WWE is that it was a great rib of Henry to see how long he would remain in the ring before getting mad and assault, which he did. Henry was really told that he fights is a dark main event against face of sin. He and face really called points for his party by night.
Henry was sent to the ring and when he went to cut a promo to set up the entry in the face, was reduced to the mic. Henry finally stormed back and demanded to know what was going on. Vince McMahon theme was the last who played during the rib, that it is appropriate because everything was personal joke of Vince on Henry.
Vince had already left the stage, but according to one source, he directed the entire thing via cell phone. A source of production of WWE adds that the producer Kevin Dunn was in envelope all laughing too, as it was happening.
The impression left by behind the scenes among other talents was funny, but out of place. The feeling is that it is one thing to throw a joke about one of the fighters of the other, but when WWE is doing the jokes sends a wrong signal, especially when they are ribs a veteran as Mark Henry. He was also pointed out how WWE has not thrown a joke on Henry at the expense of the fans who had to sit through it and waiting for a match.

Strange happenings with Mark Henry then WWE SmackDown Tapings on Tuesday

On June 2, 2011 - 5: 31: 49 AM - a bizarre situation occurred after recordings of WWE SmackDown on Tuesday in Des Moines, Iowa. Once SmackDown Mark Henry came out to a dark main event it was announced that Christian vs Randy Orton. Henry entered the ring and waited only as no opponent never left. Henry waited about five minutes before finally starting to cut a promo to the crowd. Every time that Henry would begin to speak, decreased the microphones.
Instead of getting a promotion done, Henry began to taunt some fans in the front row. After 15 minutes of this course, announcer Tony Chimel announced that while the fans were waiting for opponent Mark Henry, WWE due to fans to attend.
Henry's music began to play a few minutes before stopping. Hornswoggle's music, then affected but never released. After some minutes, old music from The Great Khali played, but once again, no one came out. Music of Khali stopped and music by Vince McMahon, but as expected, he goes wrong. After about 20 minutes since the end of SmackDown, Henry got tired of waiting for an opponent and walked towards the back. No word yet on what happened, but sounds like WWE was playing a great rib of Henry.

Expected announcement Tuesday of the THQ on WWE video games
Jim Ross stated on his website today that an "important announcement" will be on Tuesday about annual WWE series of video games from THQ SmackDown vs. Raw.
"Without doubt the most important news of the WWE in front of video games to date," wrote Ross.
The announcement is that the title of the WWE video game annual, SmackDown vs. Raw, will cease to exist. The possible new name for the game is ' 12 WWE, a title that changes each year.
THQ decided to change the title of the game because they thought that the title of SmackDown vs Raw not already fit due to the WWE product represent the "brand wars" inconsequential. This also explains WWE cesar rights bragging of pay per view event. While the event attracted bad two years, stayed to help promote the annual SmackDown vs. Raw.
