En la pasada edición de Impact, Flair sufrió una inflamación y posterior ruptura, en la “bursa” (Bolsa en latín) de su codo. En resumidas cuentas una “Bursa” es una bolsa que contiene liquido sinovial y cuya funcion es evitar el roce entre los huesos facilitando asi el movimiento de las articulaciones.
En ciertas ocasiones, debido a un golpe directo en la region, estas bolsas se llenan de liquido, pudiendo infectarse y generar un gran dolor, por lo que deben ser removidas.
El hecho ocurrio en la lucha que sostuvo frente a Sting, al momento de recibir el superplex, ”Fue brutal. Creí que me había quebrado el brazo en ese spot” fue la impresión del Nature Boy. También señala que es “raro” tener un brazo el doble de grande, pero esta bien, aunque segun los medicos, debe estar atento por una posible infección.
