Shawn Michaels just announced via Twitter that he is backstage at the SmackDown! taping in Kansas City. He tweeted: "At SmackDown! with friends. They r having a great time. It is awesome to see the crew. Everybody looks ready for WrestleMania:-)"

No word yet on what role, if any, he will play at SD!.
