I would like to apologize on behalf of WWE for confusing last night’s WrestleMania with a special 4 hour edition of Raw. Anyways, this is my last recap of Monday Night Raw for the time being. Raw opens up with the usual video and pyro, and then we hear JR commentary hyping up Cena and Rock later tonight. Lawler says that they’re back where they belong. (Will JR be back on commentary for the immediate future?) Triple H’s music hits and he receives a huge pop. The crowd is electric, more so than they were for The Rock last night. He starts by saying that this is the most tired and beat up he has ever been in his life. He said that as Undertaker walked down the ramp last night, he has never been so nervous in his life. He added that he’s wrestled Undertaker before, even at WrestleMania. He said that he gave it his all, but it wasn’t enough. He mentions that people are wondering if Taker will ever be back due to the fact that he was taken out on a stretcher. He said that if it’s true that Undertaker is done in WWE, he came out here to say just one thing: thank you. Triple H says that he believes Taker will be back, and when he is: he’ll be waiting. As Triple H leaves the ring, Jim Ross notes that Michael Cole is going to challenge Jerry Lawler to a match later tonight.

Back from commercial, and Jim Ross says that Stone Cold will be here to introduce the cast of Tough Enough. As JR is asking how Lawler feels about his match, Michael Cole appears at the top of the ramp in his wrestling gear. He says that now that Shawn Michaels is in the Hall of Fame, he will now be referred to as Mr. WrestleMania. Cole says he wants to prove that he’s a better man than Jerry Lawler and proposes a rematch. Lawler says he’s ready and invites Cole down to the ring. Michael Cole then says he wasn’t talking about a WrestleMania rematch, but a rematch of last week’s Raw. Jack Swagger comes out and Lawler is in the ring. The bell rings and Lawler gets taken into the corner. After a few hits, Lawler counters and Swagger jumps into the turnbuckle. Swagger then slams Lawler and misses a running slam. He then misses the Swagger Bomb, as JR calls it, and King hits his trademark left hooks followed by a dropkick. Cole taunts Lawler and Cole is eventually forced into the ring. Lawler beats on Cole, and is then put in an ankle lock. King taps immediately but Swagger keeps the hold locked on. The match result is reversed and King wins by DQ. Cole then goes into his Cole Mine and finds a bottle of JR’s BBQ sauce. He pours it all over JR and JR then chases Cole out of the ring. We now have no commentators at ringside.

We’re back from commercial and we are graved by the presence of Michael Cole at ringside. At the announce table, Booker T and Josh Matthews are sitting in for the night. Randy Orton’s music hits and receives a huge pop. Next out is Rey Mysterio for a tag team match, as these two will be facing Cody Rhodes and CM Punk. The self conscious Cody Rhodes comes out next and hides his face for his walk down to the ring. CM Punk comes out to a mixed reaction and has a new New Nexus shirt on. The bell rings and Cody Rhodes starts out against Randy Orton. Orton unleashes on Cody and Rey is then tagged in. Rhodes quickly turns it around and beat on Rey. Rey counters and tries to take the mask off of Cody, and we go to commercial. After the break, Orton is stomping on Cody Rhodes. His knee is still bothering him, as it almost gives out. Orton slams Cody and tags in Rey who then hits a springboard. Punk is tagged in and Rey starts to get beaten. Cody is tagged back in and takes it to Orton. They haven’t mentioned Legacy once, so I guess that’s lost history at this point. Orton counters and gets a huge clothesline on Cody. Orton knocks Punk off the apron and loses his guard, allowing Rhodes to capitalize. Punk is tagged in and sets up for a GTS, only for Orton to get out of it and attempt an RKO. He misses and is taken out as Punk continues to go for the injured knee. We go to another commercial. Orton hits a German Suplex on Punk as soon as we return from break. Rey is tagged in and is hit with a springboard. Rey sets up for a 619, but Rhodes comes in and hits a big boot to Mysterio. Rhodes is tagged in and begins to dominate again. Orton is tagged in and hits the rope assisted DDT. He is going for the RKO, but Punk distracts him. He instead hits him with an “Angle Slam,” if you were to talk to Kurt. Mysterio hits a 619 on Rhodes, which is then followed by an RKO. Orton pins to pick up the win in a match that was WrestleMania worthy.

Back from yet another commercial and we see a Sin Cara promo. I heard that he was supposed to debut tonight, but the promo doesn’t make any mention of it. Stone Cold’s music hits and the entire crowd is on their feet. He’s not flipping off on the turnbuckles tonight. He grabs a microphone and starts hyping Tough Enough. He then has the Tough Enough contestants come out to the ring. I know that I shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but I don’t think any of these people look like Superstars. He passes around the mic. They all say that they will be the next WWE Superstar/Diva. They are getting cheered/booed solely on which state they are from. Almost all of them have used the “W” word. As Stone Cold continues to talk, Miz’s music hits as he and A-Ry appear at the top of the ramp. Miz mentions that he was on Tough Enough in 2004, for the few that didn’t know. We then see a replay from last night, showing that Miz apparently suffered a concussion- but continued the match. Miz then questions Stone Cold, asking if he has one more run left in him. As the crowd chants for Stone Cold, Miz says that they should clear the ring and see if he really does have one more match. Stone Cold says to clear the ring. Riley comes from behind and gets a cheap shot on Austin. Austin retaliates and hits a stunner on Riley. Miz is nowhere to be found as the Tough Enough cast is cheering at ringside. He has the bell guy toss him beers, and he tosses them to each Tough Enough contestant. They all smash their beers together and celebrate. He grabs two more beers and dumps them on Cole inside his little hut.

Justin Roberts announces Ricardo Rodriguez who announces Alberto Del Rio, nothing new here. Del Rio doesn’t come out in a car, which Cole blames on the vandalism of Edge and Christian. Already out at the ring is his opponent, Evan Bourne. I expect this to be a squash, and it certainly starts out that way. There isn’t much play-by-play here, as Bourne is literally being tossed everywhere. Ultimately, Del Rio locks in his cross arm breaker and Evan Bourne taps out. Del Rio has a busted lip, but it’s not bleeding too badly.

Vickie comes out in her ring attire and blames LayCool on last night’s loss to Snooki. Ziggler invites Morrison and Trish Stratus to the ring for a mixed tag match. Next out are Morrison and Trish, who both get equal pops. The match starts and Ziggler goes right to Morrison. Morrison tags in Trish, forcing Vickie to get tagged in. Vickie attempts a cartwheel, but fails. After a few chops, Vickie counters Trish and goes for a pin. Morrison and Ziggler are back in the ring and Morrison misses a springboard. After Trish breaks up the pin, she slaps Ziggler. Morrison hits a springboard and Starship Pain, followed by a pin.

We go to another commercial and it looks like, yet again, Daniel Bryan and Sheamus have been taken off the show. It seems that I spoke too soon and that they will squeeze this match in, because we all know that there needs to be enough time for The Rock and John Cena. Sheamus makes his way out with new ring gear. Cole explains that it’s red, white, and blue because of the fact that he is the United States Champion. Daniel Bryan comes out to a great pop and the bell rings. The crowd is chanting for Daniel Bryan as he gets destroyed. Daniel Bryan makes a comeback after getting a few clotheslines. Bryan goes for the LeBelle Lock, but Sheamus turns it into a back breaker. Sheamus hits the brogue kick and retains his title. I’m not saying that I’m mad about the fact that Sheamus still has the belt, I’m mad about the fact that this match was given barely any time and Daniel Bryan is not being given match time that he deserves. Sheamus starts beating on Daniel Bryan once again, but the lights go out and Sin Cara appears at the top of the ramp. He points to Sheamus and runs down to the ring. He jumps INTO the ring, over the top rope, and take out Sheamus. I’ve seen a couple matches from this guy, and he is going to bring a lot to WWE. (If they use him right.) Now they need to find something for Daniel Bryan to do, now that it’s obvious that Sin Cara and Sheamus will feud. I honestly would not be surprised if Daniel Bryan were to be one of the “high profile” releases now that WrestleMania is over. (Like Shelton Benjamin last year.)

John Cena’s music hits and the newly colored fruity pebble has a mixed reaction from the crowd. Once the music stops playing, the boos overpower the cheering. Cena congratulates Rock for making a good decision in not ending WrestleMania with a draw. He then congratulates The Miz for retaining his WWE Championship. Cena then goes on to say that since Rock got involved with his business, they now have business to settle. Rock comes out and poses on the turnbuckles. The crowd is chanting “fruity pebble” as Rock grabs a mic. He says that he should have seen this coming, but says that he respects John Cena. He says because of his love for WWE, he has become one of the best WWE Superstars and champions of all time, but it doesn’t change the fact that Rock doesn’t like him. The only similarity between them is that they want to be the best at what they do. Cena says for him to listen to the people, saying that they want a match between the two. Rock says that Cena has no idea what he just asked for. Rock suggests that the two make history and face off on the grandest stage of them all: WrestleMania 28. The Corre comes out and starts to beat on Cena and Rock. The two fight back and hit the Five Knuckle Shuffle and People’s Elbow. Cena hits an AA on Wade Barrett, and Rock hits Rock Bottom. They see who can outperform each other, but end with a handshake.
