-Batista wrote the following on Twitter last night about Fit Finlay for the WWE release several months ago:

"im going to say this because I said I would elaborate later.... and im sure will get any pain about it, but do not care." and this is entirely the opinion of an outsider looking in. only know what ive said about launch of Fit Finlay and knows exactly what happened... but no one in this world could convince me of that adjustment, the man of honour, did not do anything that lose it its livelihood justified. It would not have made to the top without setting, and I would have not done through a large number of the unbearable tours longass either. seriously, I think that there is a huge vacuum in the WWE without him. "isn't replaceable."

Reported back in March that WWE had launched Finlay after he had booked a segment in an event WWE where The Miz stopped the national anthem. The members of the National Guard, the main sponsor of WWE, were present and were not satisfied with the angle. Finlay was released.
