The events that led to Steen coming to evolve actually started the week on Twitter. Steen said co-founder Gabe Sapolsky in an open letter he wrote to Ring Of Honor. Sapolsky, blind to face included in this letter to ROH, responded on Twitter (@ DragonGateUSA) with: @ KILLSTEENKILL if you want to really nothing for me come to work the show evolve 7 (26) in New York, no "crash" ROH shows on my behalf.

Six months have been torture for me. But that all ended on June 26, when I was in an ROH ring and told them that go fuck themselves. And Gabe, has occurred to me when I read the "invitation" that had so much fun the last time I was in New York that it was ready for another trip there. And best time of exactly one month later, on July 26?
And what better place to evolve?

You know, all these rules Nice has to evolve? All the stuff about terms and regulations and missions... that really cute... but it is not for me...
