The story so far:
This is probably the most anticipated among the WWE Money In The Bank 2011 Results. For anyone who’s been tuning in to Monday Night RAW, you know this is not any regular WWE Title match.
The stakes were raised immediately upon CM Punk claiming #1 contendership as he announced that his WWE contract would expire on July 17th ( the date of WWE Money In The Bank 2011 PPV).
Next CM Punk claimed that when he wins the WWE Title, he would take the WWE Title with him as a free agent. If that was not enough, Punk followed up with a stunning shoot promo this past week on Raw.
After bashing the backstage WWE Politics that had held him back, Punk again threaten to defend the WWE Title in Ring Of Honour or New Japan Pro Wrestling. Subsequently, Vince Mcmahon announced CM Punk Suspended status due to unprofessional behavior.
Next John Cena confront Vince Mcmahon about the suspension of CM Punk, defending the right for freedom of expression. Vince Mcmahon then admitted that the main reason was to ensure that Punk did not leave with the WWE Title.
John Cena then forfeited the WWE Title before Vince Mcmahon changed his mind and agreed to restoring CM Punk back into the match. However, Vince Mcmahon issued an ultimatum, if John Cena lost the WWE Title to CM Punk, Cena would be fired!
John Cena vs CM Punk will very likely to be the main event of the WWE Money In The Bank 2011 Match Card.
WWE Money In The Bank 2011 Match CardWith the John Cena Fired or Win stipulation added, it seems to swing the outcome of the match toward the Leader of the Cenation. Of course if CM Punk and WWE work out a contract extension, then we will be in for a surprise.

Randy Orton (c) vs. Christian
Christian can win the World title if the match official make a wrong decision or Randy Orton gets DQ
The story so far:
The match that fans of Christian will be most concerned about on the WWE Money In The Bank 2011 Match Card.
Randy Orton defeated Christian 5 days after Captain Charisma first World title win of his career. In a rematch at Over The Limit 2011, Randy Orton once again emerged victorious.
Unable to take the losses, Christian turned heel and had another match for the title at Capitol Punishment 2011. However, a bad call by WWE Official resulted in yet another victory for Randy Orton.
With his confidence shaken, Christian seek the help of Mark Henry, who pinned Randy Orton in a tag team match to determine the #1 contender. With the help of his lawyers, Christian has added the two new rules to this encounter.
If Randy Orton is DQ or if the match officials is found to make a wrong decision that cost Christian the match, Christian will then be awarded the World title.
With Christian already doing the “job” mutiple time to Randy Orton, it look like it’s time for Captain Charisma to finally reclaim what was always rightfully his (at least according to Christian Peeps). Or The Viper could strike again and go 4-0 to totally dominate the series of matches.

Alberto del Rio vs. Alex Riley vs. Evan Bourne vs. Jack Swagger vs. Kofi Kingston vs. R-Truth vs. Rey Mysterio vs. The Miz
WWE Money In The Bank Ladder Match 2011The Story So Far:
This match was announced on Raw by Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole, with each of the 8 participants all having various history with each other. Last year the Miz won the RAW MITB Ladder Match on route to his first WWE championship.
While in theory every man on the WWE Money In The Bank 2011 Match Card has a chance, it is hard to see the likes of Evan Bourne or Kofi Kingston winning the match. The favorites for the match will be Alberto Del Rio, Rtruth and Alex Riley (who all have never won World Titles).
Former WWE World Champions are the Miz, Rey Mysterio, Jack Swagger and even Dolph Zigggler, one of them could win the briefcase but it would be only for swerving the fans than elevating any new stars into the main event.

Cody Rhodes vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Heath Slater vs. Justin Gabriel vs. Kane vs. Sheamus vs. Sin Cara vs. Wade Barrett
This match was confirmed on Smackdown with an in ring interview with all of the 8 superstars. Last year Kane won the Smackdown MITB Ladder Match and won the World title on the same night.
The favorites would be Wade Barrett and Sheamus. Despite a lack of a serious push this year, both men are still considered the long term future of the WWE.
What about Daniel Bryan and Sin Cara? With Smackdown seriously lacking in babyfaces, a win for either guy could freshen up the Smackdown
main event scene. While Sin Cara is highly experienced in mexico, he’s still adjusting to the WWE style so Daniel Bryan seems the more viable option to get the MITB briefcase
The likes of Cody Rhodes, Health Slater and Justin Gabriel have to be considered as dark horses. But don’t count out Cody Rhodes, as he has proven himself with solid ring work and ever improving mic skill in 2011.
Finally there’s the Big Red Machine Kane, but it’s hard to see the logic of Kane winning the MITB again, for obvious reasons.

Kelly Kelly (c) vs. Brie Bella (w/ Nikki Bella)
The Story So Far:
Kelly Kelly won her first Diva Championship on the Power To The People Raw broadcast, defeating Brie Bella with a rollup. Now the two WWE Divas will meet in a rematch. Sadly, this is nothing more than a filler match on the WWE Money In The Bank 2011 Match Card, so there’s not much depth to the storyline here.
