Kurt Angle TNA star spoke with MMAWeekly.com this week to discuss his training for the team of Olympic wrestling United States and hype his new MMA, "Warrior" film. During the interview, angle stated that he came very close to signing with the UFC - but the President of UFC Dana White has a different opinion on how things went down.

Kurt Angle told MMAWeekly:

"Indeed I contacted Dana White again after the movie." He flew out to meet him once and has a great offer. Contacted again, I was thinking about the defection of the struggle of impact and there were some personal issues with my marriage and only wanted to get out. I contacted Dana White, flew out and I had to take the physical UFC. It happened, thank God, and gave me the offer. The conditions were not good, I mean not for me, and the terms that I gave were not good for him. He wanted that I ready in four and a half weeks; I wanted to three to six months. I therefore respect Dana White and I love him to death, very good friend. "I knew I was able to win in the four and half weeks, but I wanted to be in my best".

Dana White was asked in Twitter angle claim, to which he replied: "I love you kurt, but it is not true".
