-WWE Web site has a new article up with superstars looking back in the 9/11 tragedy 10 years ago. Here are some of the answers:

Booker t "Of course was a difficult time later down the towers." It was a bleak time for the United States. SmackDown really was cancelled or postponed and then made the big decision to go, and I think it was one of the best WWE decisions ever made. Us artists not only gave an opportunity to escape a minute, but also to the fans. That night was all about the United States. "Everyone knows that we are going to go, America will still be strong, no matter what happens".

Sheamus: "Remember that was around two in the afternoon in Ireland." He was working for an American company at the time. We are all entered a room large and watched TV in shock and horror as we saw the first building in flames and watched live as the second plane hit. Really I can't describe the feeling - one of shock and fear. You have to do everything that can help people pass a tragedy so, take their minds off it. "If [superstar] we can help people take their minds off it for a couple of hours, it is a responsibility that we have."

Brooklyn Brawler: "it hit very close to me because many of my friends had friends who died the 9/11 9/11." Having the show right after 9/11 showed [terrorist] that they could overturn us, but we are going to get up again. What I can say is, [terrorist] did not achieve what they wanted to carry out. "We are still free."

Michael "PS" Hayes: "Do we have concerns and fears [in SmackDown post-9/11]?" Yes, but by God, we were so mad, so angry, we will return to business. While everyone was nervous backstage, waiting nothing disastrous would happen, the feeling of unity and patriotism was overwhelming. Just remember how proud all was going to be a part of this show, starting with the boss, Vince McMahon. "It is time to return to United States of America".
