Former WWE CEO Linda McMahon has offered her 2012 US Presidential endorsement to Mitt Romney. Her statement includes her reasoning for selecting Romney, which she says is because “he understands that government does not create jobs; the hardworking small business owners across this country do.”
McMahon is running for US Senate in Connecticut in 2012.

- This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw drew a 3.1 cable rating on the USA Network.
- The Federal Election Commission has ruled that Linda McMahon violated election laws during her 2010 campaign by appearing in a WWE commercial for the Make-A-Wish-Foundation. It’s been decided that no action will be taken, but it could be something her opponents pick up on.
- As part of the promotion for the ESPN E:60 profile on Scott Hall’s drug and alcohol addiction it’s been revealed that WWE have spent “in the six figures” to get Hall help through various rehab stints.
“It’s the most amount of money we’ve spent on anyone,” says Stephanie McMahon.
“I just want Scott to get help and to decide for himself that he needs help. It makes me sad. I don’t want anybody to pass away prematurely or otherwise really. Scott was an incredibly talented performer, larger than life, charismatic. He’s a father, he’s a friend. I’m sure he means a lot to a lot of people and it would be a shame for him to pass away.”
On the WWE Wellness Policy McMahon notes:
“In addition to that substance and abuse program, we also have cardiovascular testing, we do blood checks, we do physicals, we do concussion testing akin to the NFL. We’re really about maintaining the health and well-being of our superstars because without our superstars we don’t have a business. The superstars of today — they’re businessmen. They realize the healthier they maintain their bodies, the better they are going to perform, the more money they’re going to make. They’re more about playing with their iPads and gaming devices than they are about going out and hanging out at the bars.”

While it’s been reported that Linda McMahon is attempting to distance herself from WWE, the Journal Inquirer in Connecticut says she still has a huge financial stake in the company.
The article says: “While McMahon quit that post (WWE CEO) and resigned from WWE’s board of directors in 2009, she perhaps would be better described now as the co-owner of the publicly traded company. That’s because her husband (Vince McMahon) controls 88 percent of the voting power of its common stock and she personally holds one of the biggest blocks of its preferred shares, according to corporate records.”

- Things have gone from bad to worse for the Hardy clan. The latest in the saga is that Matt Hardy has turned himself in on drugs charges following a raid on his home last Wednesday.
According to TMZ Matt’s model girlfriend, Reby Sky, was worried he “was strung out on pills and needed help,” so dialed 911 and led police to a secret safe containing several prescription painkillers, 20 vials of anabolic steroids and some ecstasy. Matt wasn’t home at the time of the search so they couldn’t arrest him on the spot, but he turned himself in yesterday.
Hardy has been charged with “possession with intent to sell/deliver schedule III controlled substance (anabolic steroids), possession of schedule I controlled substance (Ecstasy), maintain a place to keep controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.”
He was released from the Moore County Detention center on promise to appear in court later in the month. This news comes just days after Hardy was charged with DWI for the second time in less than a month.
- In an interview with Sports Vibe UK, TNA’s Jeremy Borash stated that the company is planning to run shows in Japan and South America. Here is the video:
- Jerry Lawler was hospitalized following Monday’s Raw after his spot with Mark Henry went wrong.
During the segment where Henry slammed him on the announce table, Lawler’s back took undue trauma because the company failed to “gimmick” (weaken) the table in order for it to break easier.
It’s not clear whose responsible for the error.

Update on The People's Edition of WWE '12, Linda McMahon, Tonight's WWE Tapings

- Linda McMahon is officially running for the US Senate in 2012. She is now taking donations on her new website at LindaforSenate2012.com. Her Campaign Headquarters Grand Opening Celebration will take place this Friday at 5:30pm. Linda's headquarters is at 556 Washington Avenue in North Haven, CT. There will be refreshments for the public and free t-shirts for the first 100 people.
- WWE will tape SmackDown and NXT tonight from Wright State University's Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio with the fallout from Night of Champions. Advertised locally is Randy Orton vs. Mark Henry for the World Heavyweight Title.
- As noted before, fans have chosen "The People's Edition" over "The Champ's Edition" to be released as a collector's edition of the new WWE '12 video game. THQ has confirmed details yet but the special edition will reportedly be available in North America only and will feature a foil sleeve cover that has The Rock on it. Extras reportedly include The Rock as a playable character, a DVD/Blu-ray featuring some of The Rock's RAW appearances from earlier this year, an exclusive foil Topps trading card of The Rock and an art image of Dwayne.

-- It's been rumored for quite some time and now it's official, former WWE CEO Linda McMahon will announce Tuesday that she's once again running for United States Senate next year. The announcement will be made Tuesday morning from the Coil Pro factory in Connecticut.
"I am running for Senate to help give entrepreneurs like Jeff the legislative support they need to succeed," McMahon said. "If we are going to get our economy growing again, government needs to be a partner, not an adversary to job creators. We need to send to Washington people who know how the economy works, who know how job creators think, who have created jobs and who have had to deal with the real-world consequences of the taxes and regulations Congress passes. You don't fix the problems in Washington by sending back the same people who created them. I'm a job creator, I'm not a politician."

- Hollywood gossip sites reported this week that George Clooney has taken his relationship with former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler to the next level by introducing her to his parents. The rags report that Keibler has told friends that her and Clooney's chemistry is "off the charts." Clooney lashed out at a reporter this week for asking about his love life at a media event.
- CM Punk wrote the following on Twitter regarding a WWE DVD about him: "A DVD of yours truly will never be done unless I call the shots. Stories must be told correctly. Haters included."
- The Rock is scheduled for at least one RAW Supershow episode leading up to his appearance at the Survivor Series pay-per-view.
- As noted before, Linda McMahon will be distancing herself from WWE in her 2012 bid for the US Senate. However, Chris Shays, a Republican who is running for the same nomination as McMahon, says he will make Linda's WWE track record part of the campaign from the beginning.

-The New York Times reports that Linda McMahon officially announced his Senate 2012 next week. Linda had spent $ 50 million of his own money in the failed campaign of 2010. Sources close to the report of campaign Linda that this time, she plans to raise money from private donors rather than rely strictly on his own money. One of the reasons that Linda is taking this approach this time is because last year, he received criticism that she was using their wealth to buy a seat in the Senate. Hulk Hogan gets delusional Linda Hogan
Hulk Hogan says that he never violated his ex-wife Linda. Hogan in the love sponge, tells of his buddy, Linda claims of abused, that she made today to the Bubba morning on the today show called a "cold, blatant lie."
Hogan said he "never put a hand on it" and that Linda is "delusional." He called Linda a "non topic still riding on the Hulk Hogan name."

-Although CM Punk promo on raw was no shooting in the sense that he ran to the stage without knowing someone, there was nothing scripted by the creative team. In the main Vince said punk could go out there and say what he wanted and that's what he did.
Authorities knew that punk, would hold back, which is not exactly what to expect, so there is no real heat on punk for what he said.

Linda Hogan says Hulk Hogan was violent with her during their marriage
Ex-wife of Hulk Hogan Linda appeared on the show from NBC's today this morning and was interviewed by Matt Lauer to promote his new book they all say, "Fighting with Hulk".
The more journalistic part of the interview is Linda citing that Hulk was physically violent with her during their marriage, a claim that we have not heard of it before.

-Matt Lauer started saying that he came to Hulk Hogan, but he had no comment. Linda was asked about his statements that drug abuse was rampant in the world of wrestling during Hulk race.
