- Rey Mysterio said he was shooting for a return by Wrestlemania 28 during a recent interview with The Miami Herald:
“Especially after the injury that I had, I want to make sure to work hard throughout this therapy so I can go ahead and be back by then.”
He also commented on Mil Mascaras being inducted in to the Hall of Fame:
“I think he definitely brought something that was very unique to pro wrestling. You had seen masked wrestlers before but nothing like Mil Mascaras. Not only did he revolutionize the sport in the United States but also in Japan and in Mexico. You would never see that man wear the same outfit twice. His style in the ring, his presence, the designs on his masks, everything was so different every time. I believe he did revolution, to a certain degree, the sport in all three countries.”
- The latest show idea for the upcoming WWE network is a countdown show. They again asked fans on Facebook to vote on possible show names:

During the recent 3rd Quarter Conference Call Vince McMahon said the network is set to launch in about 6 months. He noted that the company has about 100,000 hours of footage in their tape library – with 30,000 hours digitized. They are using those 30,000 hours as the first programming for the Network and will continue to digitize the rest of their content going forward.
- WWE will not be continuing NXT or Superstars in the new year, although they may show up again on the WWE Network. Since being moved to an online format in North America they have lost $9 million in TV revenue.
- Booby Roode won the TNA World Heavyweight title on last night’s Impact Wrestling, turning on his long time partner James Storm. Here are the highlights:

This afternoon, Daniel reported that WWE has added a traditional 5-on-5 elimination match to the upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view. Add another match to the Survivor Series card: United States champion Dolph Ziggler will defend against New York's own Zack Ryder.
With those two matches set, here's the updated card for WWE Survivor Series, which takes place on November 20th from New York City's Madison Square Garden:

- WWE's shop website has released new Holiday packages for CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, John Cena, The Rock, Sheamus, Sin Cara, Triple H, The Miz and Zack Ryder.
- WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper is still lobbying on Twitter for WWE to hold a Piper's Pit with he, The Rock and John Cena to promote their WrestleMania 28 match. Here's one of Piper's many Tweets on the subject:

-- Creative changed the planned finish to tonight's WWE Championship Triple Threat Hell in a Cell Match between John Cena, CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio this afternoon. The finish to the World Heavyweight Championship Hell in a Cell Match between Mark Henry and Randy Orton is the same as was planned a few days back.
-- Jim Ross is reportedly scheduled to call tonight's Hell in a Cell, although plans change frequently. The last time Ross was scheduled to call a pay-per-view event, which was SummerSlam, he was replaced by Booker T at the last minute.
-- Four third row seats grouped together for tonight's Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event at the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana were available as of this morning. Furthermore, the seats are facing the camera.

Storyline Update on Cody Rhodes & the White IC Title, Ex-Divas Debuting RAW Post-show

- On this day back in 2008, WWE's SmackDown aired for the first time on MyNetworkTV. SmackDown ran on the network until September 24th, 2010 when it moved over to SyFy.
- Starting tonight and airing every Monday night, former WWE Divas Lilian Garcia and Maria Kanellis will be hosting a post-RAW internet show for the After Buzz TV website. Former WWE writer Dave Lagana will also be joining them.
- WWE's website posted an interview with Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes last night after he brought back the classic white title belt.
In the video, Rhodes talked about how important the Intercontinental Title used to be. He said people like Santino Marella, Ezekiel Jackson and Chyna tarnished the prestige of the Intercontinental Title.
In the storyline video, Cody was asked by the interviewer his response to Triple H ordering him to defend the title at last night's Hell in a Cell. Before Rhodes could speak, David Otunga ran up and cut him off. Rhodes will be part of the disgruntled Superstars that Otunga is representing in the storylines.

- Alberto Del Rio became a two-time WWE Champion at tonight's Hell in a Cell pay-per-view from New Orleans, Louisiana. Del Rio defeated CM Punk and John Cena in the main event.
- Beth Phoenix captured the WWE Divas Title for the first time at tonight's pay-per-view, defeating Kelly Kelly. Beth held the WWE Women's Title three times.
- Cody Rhodes re-introduced the classic white Intercontinental Title at tonight's pay-per-view, and retained it against John Morrison.

- The season premiere of FOX's The Cleveland Show with Ric Flair did a 3.8 overnight cable rating.
- Devin sent the following: TNA will be touring in Greenwood, MS on 11/18 and Vicksburg, MS on 11/19. Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster on 10/7.
- TNA Knockout Madison Rayne won the Dynamite Championship Wrestling Women's Title this weekend. Fellow Knockout Traci Brooks is the #1 contender to the title.
- Word is that several TNA contracts are set to expire in the next few months. While no names have been disclosed, it's said that one of the contracts expiring belongs to a current TNA title holder.
TNA's current champions are Kurt Angle (World Title), Eric Young (TV Title), Austin Aries (X Division Title), Winter (Knockouts Title), Hernandez & Anarquia (Tag Titles) and Tara & Miss Tessmacher (KO Tag Titles).
On a related note, the contracts of Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff reportedly expire the week of TNA's Bound For Glory pay-per-view in just a few weeks. There has been no word yet about Hogan or Bischoff re-signing.

Two changes of title at No Surrender, headed for glory series winner crowned
Two title changes took place tonight at No Surrender as winter regained the knockout Championship Mickie James while Austin Aries to beat Brian Kendrick to capture the X Division Championship.
The title changes were prevented before the event as a party line for September 23 TNA live event in Springfield, Illinois listed Aries as the X Division Champion and the winter as the champion of the knockouts.
Robert Roode defeated Ray bully via pinfall to win the Bound for Glory series and win a match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship the next month at Bound for Glory. Roode gunner beat through presentation earlier in the show, tying the total of 52 points of bully Ray-Ray defeated James Storm in the second match of the event. This created the play-off game between Roode and Ray.

-Below is the latest TNA "Director's Cut: Eric Young Goes to Hollywood" video where young people looking for actor Scott Baio:
-Jeff Hardy recently due to people in Top Rope belts make him an enigmatic Omega belt. The belt is similar to the immortal belt that Hardy had recently in TNA. Hardy new belt is designed so that when it comes out on a dark stage and music plays, the eyes and mouth to light up the belt and flash to music. Jeff is allowing top rope belts sell copies of the belt to the fans.
No word yet if this means Hardy they will return to TV soon but in the last word, he and brother Matt Hardy were still suspended list / inactive TNA.

- As you pointed out yesterday, WWE renewed the SummerSlam card on Monday after deciding that their creative plans for CM Punk at the event are "horrible". This caused Alberto del Rio to remove the image from the WWE title once more.
The River is still scheduled to be WWE champion sometime in the near future. The reserve situation indicate that John Cena vs the Rio by the belt is scheduled for September, but that could always change.
Dear why WWE part of del Rio as the WWE champion at SummerSlam is the Los Angeles market and hope that could take out of the Latino community. There was also a long-term plan of the River being Championship when WWE returns to Mexico in October with the idea that the would be the first Mexican to keep a WWE title in Mexico, while they were recording TV there for the first time. The river that goes back to Mexico as WWE champion is seen as a way to broaden the base in what today is the strongest fan company market.

Punk storyline, DH Smith MMA training, WWE hypocritical? Internet title defended Ryder
-Zack Ryder defended his Internet Championship against Primo at RAW live event in Melbourne, Australia. He was actually announced the Champ and carried a belt with him.
-The CM Punk storyline was on the tour with officials, claiming they punk only from television exposed to continued. He once again took the microphone and put the McMahon family.
He then had a match, losing to Rey Mysterio.

I don't know if anyone noticed this but Josh Matthews made a comment on SmackDown I found very hypocritical from WWE. It would be great if someone with would write some influence in the IWC a piece of Josh Matthews comment on SmackDown. Josh Matthews reference to Cody Rhode may offensive and completely hypocritical WWES b.a. Star campaign against bullying and hazing are interpreted as paper bag stunt as "Bag The Nerd". It was not necessary and the conversation that made it worse followed for T between him and Booker. That is most surprising that it was broadcast from taped program and obviously no decision was made to remove the incident from the program. I think that an apology from WWE along with an apology by Josh Matthews and the announce team should be made. I was not offended by but I called it hypocrites always enjoy.
