Mick Foley’s WWE Return Announced, More New WWE Trademarks, Ronnie Signs TNA Deal

- Mick Foley’s WWE return was quietly announced on local advertisements for the 11/14 Raw in Boston:
FINALLY THE ROCK COMES BACK TO BOSTON!
A SPECIAL THREE HOUR EDITION OF WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW SUPERSHOW AT TD GARDEN.
NEW START TIME OF 7:15 PM.
What will happen when seven time WWE Champion, “the most electrifying man in all of entertainment” The Rock and 10 time WWE Champion John Cena meet in Cena’s hometown?
John Cena, Randy Orton and CM Punk vs. The Miz, R-Truth and Mark Henry in a 6 man tag team match. Also, a special appearance by Mick Foley!
- WWE have registered a two more new Trademarks. The first is “Ryback”, which was the name used by Skip Sheffield in FCW, and the second is “Avalanche” which is described as:
“Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services in the nature of a wrestling club; Entertainment services, namely, organizing and conducting an array of athletic events rendered live and recorded for the purpose of distribution through broadcast media; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a wrestler; Entertainment services, namely, providing information by means of a global computer network in the fields of celebrities, entertainment, and popular culture.”
Under that scope it could be use for a number of things.
- Jersey Shore cast member Ronnie Ortiz-Magro ha signed a deal with TNA that will see him appear on 4 episodes of Impact, starting with the October 26th tapings in Macon, Georgia.
Kurt Angle Injured, Hardcore Holly Writing Book, WWE Legend Reality Show, New WWE Trademarks

- TNA’s Kurt Angle is working through a injured hamstring. Before his match at Bound For Glory the area was actually black with bruises, but he wrapped it up and soldiered on regardless.
- Former WWE supestar Bob “Hardcore” Holly is currently working on a book entitled The Hardcore Truth.”
“My book will be different because it’s about my life pre-WWE days and my perspective of the wrestling business. I will talk about things no one has dared to talk about,” Holly told SLAM! Wrestling. “It will be written in a very unique style thanks to Ross Williams who I’ve chosen to write my story. I believe this book will be an interesting and entertaining read. You will definitely want to read this book not only for what I am going to share but the exceptional brilliant style of writing Ross uses when putting words on paper.”
- The latest idea for the WWE Network is a Legends reality show. WWE sent out the following possible show titles:
WWE House of Fame
WWE Old Timer Acres
WWE Retired and Rowdy Roommates
WWE Old School Yard
WWE Legends House
The show would feature legends living under one roof.
- WWE for two new trademarks “WWE Supercharge,” and “Afterburn,” which was one of WWE’s syndicated shows that now only airs in international markets. It’s not clear what Supercharge would be for.
WWE Trademarks Broski, TNA India Update, Raw Dark Match, Undertaker Backstage

- WWE have now trademarked the term Broski, meaning Zack Ryder would not be able to use it if he left WWE.
- Another name being considered for the new TNA India brand is former WWE star Domino (Cliff Compton). The company were impressed with his recent work in Nigeria.
- Prior to last night’s WWE Raw going on air the live audience were treated with Sin Cara defeating Michael McGillicutty in a dark match.
- The Undertaker and Michelle McCool were backstage visiting at last night’s Raw. The couple live in Austin.
Undertaker’s career is currently winding down and it’s believed he’ll have one more run before either retiring outright or working only top PPVs.
Stars Helping Gregory Helms, Ziggler Disses TNA, Turning Point Poster, WWE Trademarks

- Mick Foley, Edge, Ric Flair and others will be helping to raise funds for Gregory Helms’ medical bills by appearing at the Comedy Zone in Charlotte, NC for a money raising night. Foley will be performing his stand up comedy routine, and the others will be do signings.
Helms is recovering from a motorcycle accident a few months back.
- Dolph Ziggler wrote the following on Twitter the other night while attending the Florida Championship Wrestling developmental territory:
“off to tampa to make an IMPACT and SPIKE the ratings Friday night in Orlando for FCW!!! See the #HEEL LIVE”

- WWE recently trademarked the phrase “Suntan Super Man”, which R-Truth used previously in TNA.
It doesn’t mean they’ll be using the name, it could be that they’re just preventing R-Truth from using it again in the future if he ever leaves.

- Shawn Michaels has reportedly registered trademarks for the names "Mr. Hall of Fame" and "Mr. HOF."
