Other matches announced include Winter vs. Mickie James, Kid Kash vs. Brian Kendrick, Ink Inc. vs. Mexican America, Mr. Anderson vs. Daniels, Kazarian vs. The Pope and Devon vs. Robbie E. The rest of the TNA crew will be in South America for a tour.

– Stan sent word that Sunday’s TNA Turning Point pay-per-view had 1 hour and 36 minutes of in-ring action, about the same as the previous pay-per-view.

Results from the Turning Point Pay-Per-View

TV Championship:

After the match going back and forth between Robbie E and Eric Young, with Young shedding a few layers of pants… Eric Young brought it to the top ropes diving onto Robbie E and giving him the advantage, however, Robbie E managed to pick up the win after Robbie T interfered in the match by taking out Eric Young allowing Robbie E to get the pin and become the new Television Champion!

World Tag Team Championship:

This mixed tag match started out with only the men competing and each team doing everything they could to get the 3 count. Jesse Neal sporting a red, white and blue mohawk, speared Hernandez and with the two reaching for the tag they both finally tagged in Toxxin and Sarita. After Hernandez interrupted a near pinfall on Toxxin, Ink, Ink. seemed to gain control, however, even after ripping down the pants of Anarquia ,Mexican America picked up the win afteroutside interference allowed Sarita to pin Toxxin.

X Division Championship:

This was an extremely physical match by these competitors. It started with Kash and Aries trying to take out Sorensen and doing whatever they could to make it happen. They stuck to the mat to start, however, Sorensen quickly took it to the air with an impressive dive outside of the ring onto Aries and Kash. It wasn’t long before it went back to the 2 on one scenario against Sorensen. After a couple near pinfalls by Kash, Aries told Kash to stick to the plan so he could keep his belt , though this didn’t seem to be something Kash was entirely on board with. After a suplex and a neck breaker Kash had Sorensen pinned but Aries on the outside put his foot on the rope to stop the count. While arguing with the Ref Aries came from behind for a roll up on Kash to get the 3 count and retain the X Division title.

No DQ Match:

After Christopher Daniels formed a gentleman’s agreement with RVD to make it a regular match, Daniels started out in control by striking when RVD’s guard was down. When things seemed to stop going the way Daniels wanted he attempted to leave but did not make it far with RVD in tow. Despite Daniels making the match a regular match he brought into play a chair and disregarded the agreement he just made before the start of the match. Favor seemed to go back and forth for the majority of this bout, however, RVD came ahead as both the crowd favorite and the top contender in this match despite Daniel’s unfair methods and was able to pick up the 3 count and win after a 5 star frog splash.

Undefeated Streak:

These two giants started out with brutal blows and appropriately a test of strength. As the match progressed Crimson showed amazing resilience to the blows Morgan was dishing out. Morgan was unleashing many of his signature moves that would typically decimate his opponents but they did little to slow down the undefeated Crimson, even after the Carbon Footprint, Crimson could not be pinned. Morgan did show much resilience from Crimson as well which showed these two opponents to be quite evenly matched. Crimson and Morgan resorted to exchanging punches and it eventually led to a stoppage by the ref after both threw him to the ground for a double disqualification.

Tag Team Match:

Steiner and Ray worked together to weaken Mr. Anderson with a good old fashion beatdown. After the ref missed a tag from Anderson to Abyss the beating continued as Abyss looked on. Finally Abyss managed to get tagged in and cleaned house on Steiner and Ray. After Anderson was nearly pinned the ref said Abyss was tagged in who promptly went for the blackhole slam on Steiner and got the pin to pick up the win.

Knockouts Championship:

This match started out strong with the two competitors going back and forth however, due to a distraction from Karen Jarrett, Rayne was able to interfere unnoticed and hit Sky and almost allowing Kim to land a splash off the top rope. When Sky was distracted it allowed for Gail Kim to hit Sky and get the pin to become the new Knockout’s Champion.

Challenge Match:

The match started out with Jarrett waiting in anticipation to start. Though it was short lived as Hardy enlisted a series of moves and finished Jarrett off with a Twist of Fate to get the Pin. Jarrett demanded that the match be restarted and Hardy obliged. After much back and forth Hardy came out victorious for the second time. Jarrett would not accept this and went after Hardy and forced him back into the ring where after what seemed to be a sure pin for Jarrett was reversed by Hardy for a third pin!

World Heavyweight Championship:

In the main event for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, new champion Bobby Roode defended against “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles. Roode tried to take advantage with his power early on, but AJ gained momentum with his high-flying skills. In the end, after a back and forth battle, AJ Styles went for the Styles Clash finisher, but Roode reversed it and with a handful of tights, got the 3 count and retained the championship! Another cheap win for Roode – and an underhanded win he’ll certainly have to address on Thursday’s IMPACT on SpikeTV!

WWE is attempting to have storylines “ripped from the headlines” in their shows, and the current angle of the RAW roster “walking out” on Triple H is referencing the Wall Street protests.

Some tweets that were re-tweeted by the company on Friday include Wade Barrett saying, “#OccupyRaw until our safety has been secured.” Dolph Ziggler said, “Those dirty hippies on wall street have the right idea….We should #OccupyRAW until we get what we want! #TripleHout”

- Mick Foley, Edge, Ric Flair and others will be helping to raise funds for Gregory Helms’ medical bills by appearing at the Comedy Zone in Charlotte, NC for a money raising night. Foley will be performing his stand up comedy routine, and the others will be do signings.

Helms is recovering from a motorcycle accident a few months back.

Latest in Sarita, after palsy Facial, released turning point information

27 July 2011-8: 00: 35 PM-annual Turning Point of TNA Wrestling event is scheduled for the Sunday, November 13, 2011 in Orlando, Florida in Universal Studios.

-Gunner and Murphy are advertised in Ode fight war V, which takes place on the Friday, August 26, 2011 in the National Guard Armory in Wentworth, North Carolina.

-Sarita, who announced three weeks on Facebook that she had suffered from facial paralysis, continued to wear a protective mask in this latest TNA Wrestling live events of the weekend, as well as the impact Wrestling tonight filming in Orlando, Florida. His condition, however, has improved now.

Sarita was announced to appear on live events this weekend in Texas, the organization is directed to Hispanic population with the Mexican American and bloody. She will also appear with AJ Styles at direct Auto insurance 6630 South Congress Avenue Austin, Texas tomorrow from 11: 00 a.m. to 1: 00 p.m.

WWE Star Turning Heel, Steamboat & Kharma News from Friday's WWE Live Event

May 7, 2011 - 10:08:06 AM - Kharma made her WWE live event debut at last night's show in Dothan, Alabama. After Eve Torres lost to Divas Champion Brie Bella, Kharma came out to attack her. Until last night's attack on Eve, Kharma has previously attacked heel WWE Divas - Michelle McCool, Maryse and Alicia Fox.

- On the same show, WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Steamboat came out to be the guest host but was interrupted by Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio attacked Steamboat which brought out Rey Mysterio, which brought out CM Punk and then Kofi Kingston. This all set up Kofi and Rey vs. Del Rio and Punk later on, which the babyfaces won.

- The angle with Jinder Mahal, The Great Khali and Ranjin Singh on SmackDown is supposed to lead to Khali turning heel, with the idea he's become too soft as a babyface and is no longer the monster he once was. Mahal and Khali are scheduled to form a heel tag team with Mahal carrying most of their work.

-- As noted earlier, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin revealed to the StarTribune.com that he turned down a spot on ABC's Dancing With The Stars. He did say that he enjoys the show and is supporting Chris Jericho. He says Jericho "never gets nervous" and that "he's going to go far." You can check out the full article at this link.

-- As noted yesterday, rapper Ludacris was backstage at WrestleMania. However, rapper T.I. was not with Ludacris as earlier reported as he is still serving an 11 month sentence in Arkansas for drug possession. You can check out a pic of Ludacris posing with the Rock at this link. The two will be both be starring in the upcoming Fast And Furious sequel, Fast Five, which releases on April 29.

-- Mick Foley is launching a new Twitter campaign using his Twitter feed (@realmickfoley), #10forRAINN, to help victims of sexual violence. It will raise funds for RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) to help support the National Sexual Assault Hotlines to help victims of sexual violence. Moreover, Mick - who is a volunteer for the Online Hotline - will match all donations up to $10,000, and he is offering novel incentives to donors, including mowing their lawn! Sting Discusses Turning Down WWE's Offer for WrestleMania, Lesnar Speaks

Apr 1, 2011 - 1:14:25 PM - The Daily Star in the UK talked to TNA Champion Sting and UFC star Brock Lesnar about turning down offers from WWE to appear at WrestleMania 27. Here are their quotes:

Sting:
“I wouldn’t say it was utter nonsense, that’s not true! It’s a dream match that fans would want to see. It was close. I’m glad things turned out the way they did. There are so many variables. Let’s just say that I turned it down for the same reasons I always have. Some- thing in me never trusted what would happen up there, based entirely on the track record with other WCW guys and everything that went on after Vince bought WCW. I wont be watching but I’ll be asking what happened between Undertaker and Triple H."

Lesnar:
"They were smart enough to know that I am deeply involved in UFC, what I am doing now. Wrestling doesn’t affect my life so much. I’m a fighter. The WWE will go on, and it will always be there, but I am in the UFC for as far as I can see. If ever there was an opportunity in the future to be on Wrestlemania, then I guess I have to say: ‘Never say never.’"
