We kick off Impact with a recap of last weeks dramas involving Anderson, Sting and RVD. Anderson drags Earl Hebner to the ring in a headlock and says if Sting didn’t call for the bell then he must. Earl says this shirt stands for authority and respect and he better give it to him. Anderson says what if he pushes him. Earl says don’t touch him or he will suspend him. Mr Anderson asks why did he DQ him and Earl says because he put his hands on Sting. He asks to change the decision or he will regret it. Anderson says he is pissing him off and goes to Mic Check him before Hebner JR stops him. Anderson says isn’t that sweet coming out to save daddy. Anderson asks if Earl is eye balling him and says he is in the business of screwing people over. Earl looks to throw a punch but is stopped by his son. Stingers music hits and he enters the ring. Sting says if you want to pick on everyone then why doesn’t he pick on him! Anderson says this isn’t Stinger country this is assehole country and if he steps up to him then he steps up to all of them. Sting says, No, I am just here to disrespect you. They start fighting but are split by security and RVD enters the ring. RVD says to Anderson if he thinks the DQ stopped him from beating him then he doesn’t want the victory and suggests they make it a three way at Lockdown. Earl says he doesn’t have the power. Hogan comes out and says that’s a great idea lets do it. Eric Bischoff says, wait a sec, we need ratings. So, lets make it them three against Abyss, Matt Hardy and Bully Ray in a steel cage tonight! Sting and ANderson try to get to each other but are split up again. Doesn’t look good for the team of RVD, Sting and Mr Anderson. RVD backstage says he has his hands full but he doesn’t care because he take out all his enemies in one go. Sting says Anderson is disrespectful and he will get an apology from him. Backstage Shannon Moore says Scott Steiner looks stupid with his head piece and he has no respect for him anyway. Scott Steiner asks if that is what he calls disrespect, wiping his ass with his head piece and running like a little bitch. He says that is not disrespect, disrespect is taking his girlfriend and knocking her all night. Or bitch slapping a guy in the bar then knocking him out. He will show him disrespect tonight the little bitch. Jeff Jarrett and Karen talk with Hogan about getting out of the cage match with the mad Angle. Hogan says the Rob Terry thing could fix this. Jarrett agrees but Karen looks perplexed, guess we will find out.

1: Scott Steiner vs Shannon Moore. EY at the commentary table adds some colour. Shannon with Jesse ringside and Scotty with Crimson. EY says they are having a four way tag match coming soon, OJ and EY vs Scotty and Crimson vs INK INC and a mystery team, he suggests it could be Demolition. Shannon runs away to start off with but Crimson throws him in to Scott who kicks him in the corner and some big chops. Back body drop off the ropes. More strikes in the corner and back elbow off the ropes. Belly to belly by Steiner out of the corner for near fall. Shannon reverses a move and beats on Scott and attacks his legs. Moore mocks Steiner with push ups. Moore strikes in the corner and drop kick out of the corner. Shannon has the head piece on and misses a moonsault off the top. Over head belly to belly by Steiner and Stiff arm clothesline followed by a elbow drop. Steiner puts Moore on the top rope and hits the Frankensteiner and gets the 1,2,3, winner, Big Poppa Pump, Scott Steiner! EY and Orlando look to congratulate the winners and Steiner just gives them the fingers. Magnus and Douglas Williams attack them from behind, mystery opponents, maybe?

Mr Anderson talks to a picture of himself asking him if he will give Sting an apology, his picture says, tell Sting to go fuck himself. He says to his picture he can’t say that, this is a family show. He says maybe they could do something. Jeff and Karen are talking and Karen asks what if the plan doesn’t work. Jeff is preoccupied as to why Anderson’s picture is on the Lockdown poster. Jarrett says don’t worry because he always has a plan B. Recap of Generation Me’s fall from grace after the Ultimate X. They talk smack about each other and will square off next!

2: Max Buck vs Jeremy Buck. Max wants Jeremy to lie down but he refuses. Jeremy wins the lock up but they take each other with single leg takedowns and roll ups. Arm drags by Jeremy and then top rope arm drag takedown. Jeremy holds the rope for Max and they get in the ring. Max knocks him down then they counter one after another before Jeremy rolls him up. More counters until Jeremy with dropkick and arm drag takes his bro down. Hurricanrana pin by Jeremy. Head scissors takes Jeremy out of the ring. Max holds the rope for Jeremy but kicks him in the head getting in and then powerbombs him into the turnbuckle and and sliced bread off the top gets him the win.

Beer Money backstage. Winter tells Angelina this is a small bump in the road and to drink her drink. She tells her she couldn’t let Velvet control her, she is just trying to protect her. Recap of The Beautiful People and Winter’s issues of late.

3: Velvet Sky vs Winter. Velvet attacks winter and shoulder blocks her in the corner. Smashes her head into the turnbuckle and more shoulder blocks. Neck whip and dropkick but just two. Winter reverses from the corner with a hair pull slam to follow. Body Slam by Winter and foot choke. Hair pull throw and back breaker by Winter. Fireman’s carry but Velvet gets out and hits a pair of clotheslines and a bulldog. Angelina strolls down all spaced out down the ramp. Velvet was looking at her and Winter chokes Velvet with the rope. Winter with a swinging backbreaker and a choke type submission that gets the victory. Winter leaves and Angelina follows.

Mr Anderson comes back to the ring and grabs the mic. He yells for Sting to get his ass out here. Sting obliges. Anderson asks if he wants him to apologise. He says he is normally an assehole but he will do something he normally doesn’t do. Anderson slaps him and all hell breaks lose. they take it outside the ring and into the crowd. They throw each other into the crowd barrier before taking it ringside. They continue to beat the shit out of each other even using the steps. Abyss Bully and Hardy come out and attack both men. Bully Ray hits Sting with a mic in the ring meanwhile Anderson is beat by the other two until RVD comes out and takes out Bully Ray. RVD however doesn’t help Anderson and they toss him back to Sting who nails him a couple more times. Backstage Karen is pretending that Kurt is coming after him to the police. Jeff looks pleased. Ric Flair backstage says they were just lucky he wasn’t there. Meanwhile the rest of Immortal said they aren’t on the same page so they will kill them. Velvet says Winter is a psychotic bitch and she shouldn’t have messed with The Beautiful People and she will make her pay. She speaks how Angelina looks drugged and she will free her from Winters trance. On a side note we hear Anderson’s music in the background.

4: Kurt Angle is in the ring and calls out Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett comes out with Rob Terry in toe. Kurt grabs Jarrett but Terry knocks him down from behind. Terry continues the assault and catches Kurt and follows with a front slam. Kurt counters with a drop toe into a Ankle Lock and makes Terry tap. Jarrett tries to run away but Kurt keeps hitting him and tries a Angle Slam but Jeff runs away. Kurt chases him but finds Karen who is screaming battery and the cops cuff him. Kurt hurls abuse at her before he is taken away.

Beer Money and Kaz talk about how RVD left Anderson and some other shit I can’t grasp. Karen talks about how Kurt turned into a piece of shit and how she met Jeff Jarrett. Kurt talks about the difficult divorce and not seeing his kids. Jeff Jarrett talks about getting revenge for Karen. Karen says she will never respect Kurt and Kurt says he doesn’t trust either of them. Quite a long recap of the whole feud. Kurt says he will beat him in a cage at Lockdown. Hogan and Bischoff talk about how they can cause chaos with Sting, RVD and Anderson. Main event time.

5: Abyss, Matt Hardy and Bully Ray vs RVD, Mr Anderson and Sting(c) in a cage match. Sting hits Anderson while he introduces himself and suplex’s him on the ramp. In the cage Sting splashes all men and mounts Matt Hardy with punches. RVD looks on as Bully and Abyss beat him down but is then hit by Abyss and Bully. Anderson pulls up a chair and watches. Sting coltheslined by Bully with help from Abyss. Matt Hardy with a neckbreaker on RVD and continue to take turns beating on him. Sting is getting choked by Abyss. Hogan comes out and tells Anderson to get in and rakes his eyes before throwing him into the cage. Anderson gets beaten up by everyone and Sting takes over the beatdown until Immortal take him out too. Ric Flair outside pulls RVD’s hair. Sting continues to get pummelled but only put down for two. Sting tries to fight back but to no avail. Abyss in now beats on Sting. Just realised this actually a tag match. Bully in now too helps Abyss take Sting out. They look to clothesline him but miss and hit each other. RVD in now with kicks for all of Immortal. Abyss gets reversed and RVD with single leg kick off the top. RVD looks for the Frog Splash off the top but is pushed off by Mr Anderson and Bully Ray hits the Bubba Bomb and gets the 1,2,3. Sting and RVD are still getting pummelled when the three Fortune members come out to even the numbers (A.J being still injured). Flair locks the cage and Hardy hits the side effect on Sting and Bully takes the others out with the chain. Kaz is busted open and then chokeslammed by Abyss. Bully tortures him with the chain and the beating continues. Christopher Daniels off the top the steel cage jumps on all of Immortal. Backstage Ric Flair asks who that piss ant is. Abyss tells him who he is, Flair says he weighs 140lbs. Then Immortal say how much of a beating they have given them and how they are going to kick Daniel’s ass. Daniels then says he shouldn’t have hurt A.J cause he is coming for them. Kaz says he is just getting warmed up for Lockdown. Storm says they will end their careers. Daniels says they built this company from the ground up and they are going nowhere. Sting says at Lockdown they will see who the true veteran is, its Showtime! Anderson goes on how he gets screwed every week and RVD attacks him and thanks him for tonight.

6: Hogan comes out and says they are the greatest team ever assembled. The lights go out, and start flashing pink and green. The Warrior has arrived! He climbs the cage but as he enters he falls flat on his face, a goof perhaps. He limps towards Hogan and the ref calls for the bell. The ring is cleared and it looks as if Warrior and hogan will go at it one more time! Warrior clotheslines Hogan down and then hits the Splash off the rope and gets the 1,2,3! A stretcher is called out but Hogan is not moving. Warrior spits on Hogan as everyone else looks concerned for him and are yelling, don’t move him, the end.

Good Impact. Especially appreciated that there was only a short amount of talking until we got a match. Eric Young was awesome at the announce table as always and Taz was a bit of a dick. Recap of Angle/Jarrett was wayyyy too long but I understand why they did it. Good to see Daniels back and of course the suprise of Warrior was epic. Looks like he has been keeping fit.
