New TNA World Heavyweight Title Contender, NWA-TNA Note, TNA Shows Canceled

The TNA Live! event scheduled for Friday, June 3 at the Rapids Parish Coliseum in Alexandria, Louisiana has been canceled. Refunds will be available at point of sale.

The TNA Live! event scheduled for Saturday, June 4 at the CenturyTel Center in Bossier City, Louisiana has been canceled. Refunds will be available at point of sale.

- On this day back in 2007, TNA held their Sacrifice pay-per-view and earlier in the day, the NWA severed their ties with TNA. The NWA Titles were used at Sacrifice but referred to as TNA Titles before the company unveiled their own belts.

- Mr. Anderson became the new #1 contender on last night's TNA iMPACT after winning a 25-man battle royal. At June's Slammiversary pay-per-view, Anderson is scheduled to face the winner of Rob Van Dam vs. World Champion Sting from this coming Sunday's Sacrifice pay-per-view.
