- From The Pope’s Twitter:
“My time has come, It’s time to move on. I’ve served well. Hope none has been disappointed; hope my hard work has been Applauded & Appreciated.”

It appears he’s leaving TNA.

- The team of Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder reunited on last night’s episode of WWE Superstars, when Hawkins helped Ryder defeat Koslov.

They wrote the following on Twitter:

Ryder: “The Broskis Are Back @TheCurtHawkins & @ZackRyder WWWYKI”

Hawkins: “Thanks for the support, it’s just the beginning & we’ll need all your help. I like #MajorBroskis but Broskis of Destruction made me laugh.”

They were of course formerly known as the Edgeheads and the Major Brothers.

- From Shane Helms’ Twitter:
“Emergency trip to the hospital today. I really thought this was the end. Thank everyone for their prayers! It’s meant the world to me. I love all my family and friends and fans SO much. I’m sorry if I’ve let you down. I’ll do my best to restore your faith in me. I love you.”

- The decision was made to change TNA Impact to Impact Wrestling to counter WWE’s refusal to use the word wrestling within their product.

The company also feel it will help in marketing because often TNA Impact is the only phrase used, meaning chance viewers might not realize it is a wrestling product. This is particularly important in regard to digital TV listings.
