Statement of issues of Slim Jim at the death of "Macho Man" Randy Savage

May 21, 2011-1: 25: 12 AM, in addition to his exploits famous world within the square circle, "Macho Man" Randy Savage was also known as a spokesman for celebrities to the meat of beef jerky line Slim Jim throughout the 1990s. Through its promotional efforts, helped to make Slim Jim one of the most popular snack food in the world.

"Snap on a Slim Jim, oooooh yeah!" became a popular phrase from your ads.

After the tragic passing of Savage tomorrow on Friday due to a car accident in Seminole, Florida, ConAgra Foods, Inc., parent company of Slim Jim, issued the following statement to TMZ.com:

"We are saddened by the loss." Randy for many years was a beloved Ambassador of the brand of Slim Jim and Miss much.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time."

In a coincidence, ConAgra Foods, Inc. shut down production of Slim Jim in its Garner, North Carolina Center Friday, concluding a year 40 + run. Slim Jim production is to be moved to a plant in Troy, Ohio.
