-Today would have been the birthday 59 of Randy Savage's wrestling legend. Savage died on 20 May this year after having a heart attack while driving his car.

-WWE SmackDown brand will be in the center of town in West Valley City, Utah on Super Bowl Sunday 5 February for a show of 13. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, November 18.

Greg Valentine posts explanation for non-Showing Randy Savage tribute show
WWE Hall of Fame Greg "The Hammer" Valentine offered an explanation on his Facebook page to show tribute to Randy Savage of the non-showing great northern Wrestling on September 3 in Hawkesbury, Ontario, Canada, once the Organization pays $2,000 for his services.
Here is my official statement on my reserve of Canada. I hope this removes things.
It was reserved for the male Man Memorial Show in Canada. That is true. I told the promoter that was coming. That is true. I have received my deposit of promoter. That is true. Now let me clarify some things...
Few days before the scheduled reservation, my madre-n - law had to go to the hospital for emergency surgery. I sent my wife, Julie, to Nashville to be by his side. I stayed in Tampa to continue with my weekend reserve program. I called the promoter when I saw my flight itinerary. I was on a flight from 715 to Miami from Tampa, Miami, Chicago, and then Chicago to Ottawa, then a couple hours by car to the fair, also goes through customs when Earth... which can take an hour for me have thru.
When I saw this, called the promoter and left the message that many of you heard. I asked the rest of the money if he was going to be jumping on three different planes to arrive at this event. And Yes, I promised him that he would be there. Now you need to understand is this... My message to him was severe. He was angry. My wife was a package of nerves because she is watching his suffering mother. I wasn't with her, and now I have a schedule that goes beyond the madness. Last time I went there it was not necessary to go on three levels to get there. Thus with all that stated, it was stressed and apologize to the fans who listened voicemail I left. Pressure has the better of me and I have used the language that should not have. All make mistakes.
This is what triggered then as why I not show up... The developer sent me the rest of the money, I asked him. I was going to your reservation as I promised you... that was under much pressure with what has happened with my madre-n - law (something he knew the promoter). He arrived the morning of the reserve, still going. Then received a call from my wife in Nashville that his mother was given two days to live. It did for me. How I, as a husband, can not be with my wife and madre-n - law and the rest of the family? What would you do? If a son or daughter of adult age and had a scheduled vacation, but your MOM or dad was given two days to live... it would be still disappear from your vacation, or put things in order of priority and be with his family?
As I write this to you, I am with the family in Nashville, fill my days with my wife and the rest of the family in the bed of my madre-n - law. It's been two days already and she is still with us, but I attribute that to many fans and friends that have State praying for her. I have received numerous emails expressing their concern and support in my situation.
If the promoter is angry and to try to damage my reputation, shame on him. I called and he apologized for not having been able to come, and told him he would not do because of the news that we have from the hospital the morning of the show... that his death was expected. I was even as a measure to tell him that he would return the money sent... all the same and that they are still for it. When he returns to Tampa, it will be heading to my Bank and I send you money. This was never the problem, so why had to go out and try to hurt me in a moment where we are having a tragedy in our family, I do not know.
Which tends to hurt me most, is that I asked him to please tell fans that I regretted and it would not be able to do the event. Deliberately made sure that he would express to the fans who came to see me and celebrate the life of Randy Savage. Instead, everyone says that me not released a "show". He did not give any reason for my absence, only he told people not show up. This is not how they operate. However, when it comes to pushing push with the family, family has always wins.
That's the truth. This is what happened. Yes, I did not like the route of flight and asked the balance of my reward, but that had nothing to do with me not being there. He was getting the news that my madre-n - right to die I has decided not to go the day of. As noted above, my madre-n - law seems to be doing better, and I thank him for all to pray. Lanny Poffo reveals the condition of Randy Savage into the WWE Hall of Fame
Lanny Poffo participated recently in an interview with SLAM! Struggles to confront his brother, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, as well as his long career in the sports entertainment.
Poffo wondered if WWE came to Randy for induction in the Hall of Fame and what were their feelings on the matter.
"Yes, we have spoken about it," said Poffo. "In fact, what was, remember when Von Erichs entered the Hall of Fame"? It was the first time that he had mentioned, and my father was alive. We celebrate his birthday, and at this time my father was consistent. It, ' The Von Erichs are in the Hall of Fame? I will not, ever, in the Hall of Fame unless it is Poffos, Lanny, Randy and Angelo.' That is what he said. "Us not cremate him against his will and not going into the Hall of Fame against their will or".
Poffo also referred to the WWE releasing several products with Randy.

Luchas historic - Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage vs. the Alliance to end Hulkamania
This is required a reader us a few days ago. Called doomsday cage is a kind of fighting game, struggle on the basis of the following rules/concepts:

Honky Tonk Man predicts Randy Savage owner will WWE HOF next year
The Honky Tonk Man predicted in an interview last week with Monday night Mayhem to the late Randy Savage will receive his consecration for a time in the Hall of Fame of the WWE next year.
"I think 'Macho Man' (randy savage), will of course be the lining of the roof," said the former WWE superstar. "The sad thing is that it won't be there to give his speech."
The latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that until his death, Savage said "several times" that if he was asked to be included in the Hall of Fame of the WWE, I would be happy to accept the honor, but head WWE Vince McMahon would not allow his consecration. Lanny Poffo, however, revealed in an interview with the Ottawa Sun what were the real wishes of his brother.
"Said that if the Hall of Fame is never called, which would be the three of us (Randy Savage, Lanny Poffo and father Angelo Poffo) or nothing", said Poffo.

Randy Savage died for A cardiovascular disease
* The authorities have determined that the "macho man" Randy Savage died of cardiovascular disease, TMZ.com reports and St. Petersburg Times.
* Savage, whose real name is Mario Randy Poffo, suffered a severe "heart event", just before the crash his car into a tree in Seminole, Florida on 20 was brought savage to long medical center, where he was pronounced dead.
* The autopsy carried out by the Office of forensic Pinellas-Pasco medical found that wild hearts with severe atherosclerosis of the coronary arteries was expanded. He suffered only mild laminate and bruises fall.
Death cause was determined, atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, fatal "cardiac event" the result of the condition.
* Savage was positive of hydrocodone and alcohol at the time of his death, but not play a role in his death.
* The results of the autopsy is released from the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office on Thursday.

Scott Hall injured in prison, Kane & Khali, HBK on Randy Savage, low - Ki interview
-Scott Hall, which are today beginning his 10-day sentence because of a drunken arrest in 2010 in the jail of Florida checked in. He will be monitored in a medical unit due to his poor health.
According to TMZ, he will serve only 2 days.

HBK reveals he learned from Randy Savage, Big Show & Gabriel interviews

5 July 2011-9: 03: 42 PM - Big Show and Justin Gabriel took part in interviews with channel 24 in South Africa live WWE tour this week in the country.

-Hall of Fame WWE Shawn Michaels revealed that he learned of the late Randy Savage during an interview with 1Wrestling.com.
"My memories of Randy comes from the few conversations we had together," Michaels said. "There is a story to tell people all the time, that is, you know, was displeased, angry and really think about leaving (WWE)." Just looked at me and said, "Not yourself take away game". Go, "what?" He said, "is out of the game, you've gone, not you're here, there is no possibility of progress." "While you're still here, there is always a chance". "Kept me on."

Cause of death of Randy Savage: "the death of Randy Savage confirmed as a condition of the heart." Apparently something was enlarged heart of Macho Man and had some problems of the artery. As his brother Lanny said, at least Randy was quickly and did not suffer. "
"It has always amazed me why so many athletes over the years not remain informed about their health with regular doctor visits especially on the ticker." I do not know the status of Randy nor refer especially to him when I say that many wrestlers who I've known over the years have had a mentality of "bullet proof" and more rarely not annual evidence of stress, etc. "In addition to being quick on the trigger to auto to diagnose ailments grocery list to facilitate meds to keep them 'convenient' and ' to provide for their families."
What makes that a wrestling Superstar: "for me, is the baseline on a successful wrestler charisma and athletic talent regardless of their size." In addition, when a personal issue is well established that of the mixture, then and only then there is the possibility of creating an emotional investment in the consumer. Comments by coroner into the death of Randy Savage

1 July 2011-3: 24: 19 PM the disclosure of the cause of Randy Savage's death is being covered by various media including the associated pressnews media.
An autopsy by the Office of the Pinellas-Pasco medical examiner revealed that Savage had a heart enlarged with severe atherosclerosis of the coronary arteries. He suffered minor abrasions and bruises in the accident on May 20 in Seminole, Florida.
An article on TBO.com offers more details on the findings of the medical examiner.
"Had not sustained any trauma of the accident," said William Pellan, Director of the Office of the medical examiner of the investigations. "The accident had nothing to do with his death." "Just happened to be driving when he was a cardiovascular event."
Pellan added that he could have had a heart attack. He may have had some type of arrhythmia and his heart beating, or his heart may be simply beat.
"We do not see evidence of that (an infarction) because died immediately," said Pellan.

Randy Orton discusses his legacy in the WWE, death of Randy Savage and much more
-World Heavyweight champion Randy Orton talked to Roanoke.com this weekend to promote recordings of WWE SmackDown on Tuesday in the city. The interviewer noted that before the meeting, the controller of the WWE stressed that Orton is an artist of sports, not a fighter.
Below are some highlights:
Q: from your perspective, what the best and the worst part of being a WWE superstar??
A: I would say that the best part of being a WWE superstar is travelling the world, meet people new and different from all professions. I love what I do for living. One of the things that people do not think - trips are good, but at the same time is very tired and you do not have an off-season as his regular professional football team. Now I have to my friends in swimming with their families in the pool. Yesterday they were barbecues. I was in La Crosse, Wisconsin, you know? I have a wife and a daughter, and can not see much.
Q: its law over the past years has been to be a heel (villain). Do you ever wish to face (hero)?
A: do not think that I am a true babyface. I made some minor changes, and the more time passes more changes I do. But technically, I suppose, you can call me Face I am face other heels most of the time, of course, except for Christian now. As a heel, I worked in a certain way. I did some things and not afraid of getting dirty. But as a fan favorite, really you don't want to change too. Last time it became ' 04, I tried to change 180 degrees and failed miserably. So this time, I try to take what I thought that there was in my character as a heel and really only slowly refine things instead of making drastic changes.
Q: do was your reaction to the death of the "Macho Man" Randy Savage recently?
A: is terrible. I hope everyone's reaction would be somewhere along the lines. Terrible, in disbelief, saddened, mortified.
Q: what legacy hopes to leave behind in the WWE?
A: I have won every title must be won, almost, and I think that it is now my main goal in the longevity of my career. I've been around 10 years, but that is nothing compared with some guys in our business have been able to keep on top of a long period of time - as Triple H, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair. I want to be one of the guys who are household names, that when people think entertainment or WWE sports - whatever the hell are calling it now, I want to be at the top of the list. I want to be known throughout the world for the good news I am capable of performing in the ring.
