We kick off Impact Wrestling with Bischoff being served with a notice from The Network’s lawyer. Backstage now, Velvet and ODB are going hammer and tongs backstage. ODB tells Velvet she is the reason she was out of a job and man handles her too the arena while mocking her. Velvet fights valiantly but ultimately is over powered by the stronger Knockout. ODB knocks out a security member which allows Velvet to momentarily turn the tide. ODB says she is sorry she upset her bikini shoot before while stripping Velvet’s shirt off revealing her bikini. ODB chokes out Velvet with the shirt and counts a three count herself. Miss Tessmecher comforts Velvet in the ring after the onslaught. Stingers music hits and we see once again Mr Anderson dressed as an old school Sting. Anderson says he has something special in store tonight because he is going to face one of Stingers famous competitors. Bischoff is on the phone with Hogan trying to sort the notice out when Kendrick interupts him and thanks him for a shot against the X-Division champion Abyss. He goes on to ask for another shot at Abyss and Bischoff says he is crazy but says he can fight the number one contender, tonight! Bischoff finishes his conversation and says it is not a TNA thing it is a Spike TV thing. Bischoff is in the ring and calls out Beer Money. Bischoff goes on to tell Beer Money they will have to hand the titles over because they can’t defend them at Slammiversary. Roode says injury or no injury he will be there. Alex Shelley hits the ring and emotionally tells the crowd that they won’t see MCM’s until next year cause Sabin has tore his ACL. Alex goes on to tell Beer Money he will stand in for one time only and make Gun Money a reality. Bischoff asks who told him he could do that, Alex replies The Network. Beer Money give him a beer and a hand shake, deal done. Bischoff says Alex is on his shit list.

Strikes exchanged in the ring until Matt is dropped with a back elbow. Shoulder Blocks in the corner by Crimson and whip to the opposite turnbuckle for a two count. T-Bone suplex by Crimson and Matt takes another breather. Matt hangs Crimson on the top rope and follows up with a swinging neck breaker and second rope clothesline, near fall. More strikes to the head and a leg drop for another near fall. Another neck breaker by Hardy but as he goes to jump off the top rope is momentarily stopped before hitting a leg drop on a crouched Crimson. Shoulder Block counter and some back elbows turns the tide for Crimson before hitting the double arm DDT and very nearly ending the match. Crimson beats Hardy down in the corner but Hardy counters and then hits a sleeper hold drop. Hardy looks for his finisher but instead gets countered with Sky High and gets the victory. Samoa Joe charges down to the ring but is speared as he enters.
Mr Anderson talks with Eric Young. EY says he knows why he is here, to learn how to have epic battles like he and Gunner did last week. Anderson says he would like to relive history and have Sting fight The Great Muta. EY says believe it or not he has a TV and seen what he did to Sting last week and he is a fan of Sting’s and is not for mocking him. Anderson says he has it wrong and it will be a homage to them. EY says, so they get dressed up and go out there and entertain like the old days, when wrestling mattered. Anderson agrees, so EY is on board. EY winks at the camera. Winter and Angelina continue to speak in tongues and Angelina says she will go out there and do this for her. Bischoff tells Immortal that The Network and Hogan/Bischoff have different visions. The Network has all the power and he is very sorry. Immortal look confused and say what about us.

Angelina puts a sleeper on Tessmecher after the match.

Enzuiguri by Kendrick, but he is caught going for Sliced Bread by Kaz and hits a top rope neckbreaker on Kendrick, nearly over. Kendrick hits another kick to the face and goes for a frog splash but Kaz gets his legs up and Kendrick is hit with a shining wizard and the move outside. They both try to pin each other a number of times before the bell rings. Five more minutes is announced. They smash each others head together going for the same move. Abyss is in the ring. Kendrick tries to stop Abyss but he is too much for him. Shock Treatment on Kendrick as Kaz is still laid out. Abyss picks up Kaz and hits The Black Hole Slam on him. Abyss says the X-Division is dead.
A.J Styles and Bully Ray face off in the ring. Bully says this definitely looks like A.J’s house, full of redneck idiots. Bully says him and his girlfriend beat him and Dreamer in a street fight last week. But nobody pinned him, it was Dreamer who is the weak link just like Devon. A.J says, this is coming from the man who changed his name to Bully because he is worried about his penis size. A.J says at Slammiversary they will have a Last Man Standing Match. Bully says do you have any idea what you are getting into? A.J says the question is, Do you?
5: Kurt Angle and Matt Morgan vs Scott Steiner and Jeff Jarrett with Karen at ringside of course. Morgan will face Jarrett first. No tag to Kurt now and Steiner as well. Strikes in the corner and over head belly to belly, near fll. Jarrett in now is met with the same tratment. Clothesline followed by Ankle Lock. Morgan tags himself in and makes Jarrett eat the turnbuckle. Atomic Drop and headbutt before Kurt is tagged in. Jarrett says it was an accident. Karen is put in the ambulance after the break and Jeff goes with her.
Hogan and Bischoff are in the ring now. Bischoff goes on to say he has known Mick for nineteen years and he can cut a promo, but in the ring he sucks. All he ever did is chase someone around with a sock. He questions how he could convince The Network that he knows more about the business than him. Hogan is angry and asks , has he forgotten who he is. Hogan opens the notice. He says it is Mick who is fired, both men embrace.

Well TNA is back on The Wrestling Truth radar, at least for now. I will do this review as often as I can but this year is busy, thats why I gave it away a few weeks back. So if anyone can do a better job (guarantee a weekly review) then please by all means have a crack Nige. The promise of more wrestling from TNA has happened this week, and last week. The matches were good, the whole show had a good flow. I see Bischoff has tweeted that he doesn’t know why they cater for the ten percent that are the internet community when the other ninety were already happy. Two words Bischoff, Bite Me. Shows like this is what we want and less of your ugly mug. I liked the EY and Anderson match the best myself (hence the high rating, despite not a huge amount of wrestling). Didn’t see the ending coming at all and was great to see two of the most entertaining stars in wrestling, in the ring at the same time. Anyhow, fingers rossed this isn’t a flash in the pan and wrestling does really matter. Laterz
