WWE.com announced Friday Betty Wagner, the first wife of WWE Hall of Fame Gorgeous George, died that day at the age of 98 Gearhart, Oregon.

Wagner attended the WWE Hall of Fame 2010 induction ceremony to accept the posthumous induction of Gorgeous George.

WWE is sad to learn of the loss of Betty George, first wife of WWE Hall of Fame Gorgeous George, who died peacefully today at Gearhart, Ore. He was 98 years old.
