Here’s a recap of the Randy Orton Interview from Tuesday for a radio station in Arizona, over 40 minute the current WWE World Champion spoke openly about his drug addiction in 2006. The Legend Killer stated that his wife saved his life at that time.

Orton also told many personal stories about Chris Jericho, The Rock, Santino Marella, Kelly Kelly and Dolph Ziggler among others. Here are the most important statements of the Randy Orton interview in summary form.

- Surprisingly, Randy Orton expressed negative opinions about Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Randy state that The Rock Return to WWE was hypocritical.

He did not believe it when the Rock talked about his “love” for the wrestling business during his promos on RAW before WrestleMania 27. Orton noted that the Rock acting career was clearly above his WWE career and Rock has already been distanced from the WWE.

- Vince Mcmahon asked him: “Randy, who do you think is better The Rock or John Cena?” Then Orton replied: “Vince, Dwayne needs a teleprompter and a script to rehearse his promos John simply goes into the ring and speaks freely. Cena is awesome..!”

Orton however stated that John Cena ring work was his weakness.

“Cena in the ring I feel, I can blow him away. I’m not saying he is not an athlete or does not have a good physique, but for technical wrestling he is a little bulky, a little stiff, hard to move around and a little robotic … But in terms of promos, he is light years ahead of us all. ”

Randy Orton vs the Rock

- Orton also mentioned that The Rock had reported to WWE management about his critical comments on The Rock during a newspaper interview in March.

A few weeks before WrestleMania, Orton had given a newspaper interview in which he had also been critical of the Rock WWE return. Afterwards there was trouble in Stamford for him from Johnny Ace and Vince Mcmahon himself.

Afterward, he would find out that Dwayne Johnson read the interview and complained to WWE Office.. The Rock told the WWE office that Randy had been disrespectful in an interview on “The Rock and Triple H”.

Orton: “He has this done very cleverly. In the interview I said in one sentence (as a preview on the Undertaker vs HHH Wrestlemania 27 match) that I had already defeated both men in my career.

Dwayne Johnson then made an complain that Orton had pulled down the two legends to get himself over, so suddenly in Stamford: “Orton talks [in the newspaper] bad about The Rock AND  Triple H. Orton indicated that he was disappointed by Dwayne Johnson’s conduct in this matter.

Randy Orton Drugs Problem:

“When I was 26 (2006) I had so many drug problems, that I stopped breathing once in bed and my wife is the one I owe my life to. For my new Randy Orton DVD, released in September, I spoken for the first time in an interview on.. my former drug addiction ” He had been silent on this issue for years because he was very sure he would have been ashamed.

Therefore, it had been liberating for him to speak openly in the interviews for the new Randy Orton DVD set about his former problems. Randy Orton wife was also interviewed for the DVD and had even broken out in tears when she talked about those difficult times.

He believed that his parents would also cry when they see the first interview. But fortunately it was with Randy Orton wife support at that time that he managed to overcome his problems.

Orton thought the actresses were models, and had been so bad at acting that they affected the whole angle. His real wife would been the better choice..

The Miz and Maryse Couple Relationship:

Randy Orton state that The Miz is still together with Maryse. The pair had been rumored to have broken up several times in the past.

Orton noted that his recent Concussion at a Spain Live event was the sixth in his WWE career. He had quite a few early on in his career but this was his first concussion in three years. The next week on Raw, when he had to confront Christian, everything was a blur and it was hard to focus.

When questioned whether Vince McMahon would pay attention to such details during interviews, Orton says: “not Believe It Or:. Some things matter a lot to him when he hears this, he’ll be angry I had said Wrestler”

- The opposite was however said for Mark Henry, Orton hinted that the Big Guy was not the easiest to work with, “As TV viewers you have no idea how incredibly strong this man is. Henry had “elephant” legs and is really a monster. To stand against him in the ring, a lot of things can happen “.
