WWE Hall of Fame Greg "The Hammer" Valentine offered an explanation on his Facebook page to show tribute to Randy Savage of the non-showing great northern Wrestling on September 3 in Hawkesbury, Ontario, Canada, once the Organization pays $2,000 for his services.

It was reserved for the male Man Memorial Show in Canada. That is true. I told the promoter that was coming. That is true. I have received my deposit of promoter. That is true. Now let me clarify some things...

Few days before the scheduled reservation, my madre-n - law had to go to the hospital for emergency surgery. I sent my wife, Julie, to Nashville to be by his side. I stayed in Tampa to continue with my weekend reserve program. I called the promoter when I saw my flight itinerary. I was on a flight from 715 to Miami from Tampa, Miami, Chicago, and then Chicago to Ottawa, then a couple hours by car to the fair, also goes through customs when Earth... which can take an hour for me have thru.

When I saw this, called the promoter and left the message that many of you heard. I asked the rest of the money if he was going to be jumping on three different planes to arrive at this event. If a son or daughter of adult age and had a scheduled vacation, but your MOM or dad was given two days to live... it would be still disappear from your vacation, or put things in order of priority and be with his family?

As I write this to you, I am with the family in Nashville, fill my days with my wife and the rest of the family in the bed of my madre-n - law. It's been two days already and she is still with us, but I attribute that to many fans and friends that have State praying for her. I have received numerous emails expressing their concern and support in my situation.

If the promoter is angry and to try to damage my reputation, shame on him.
