Opening Match
Air Boom defeats Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler to retain the Tag team titles via the Shooting Star Press by Bourne on Ziggler.

US Title Match
Dolph Ziggler defeated Zack Ryder with a Superkick after Jack Swagger distracted Ryder.

WWE Divas Title Match
- Beth Phoenix defeated Eve Torres with the Grand Slam after Eve missed a moonsault.

Single Match
Sheamus defeated Christian with the Pump kick after ducking the spear.

Tag Team Match
- Triple H & CM Punk vs. The Miz & R-Truth

Kevin Nash returns at WWE Vengeance 2011 to powerbomb Triple H while Miz and Rtruth double team CM Punk to get the pinfall. Post match, Kevin Nash attacks Triple H again before leaving through the crowd.

Single Match
Randy Orton defeat Cody Rhodes with the RKO after Rhodes crashed into one of his paperbags assistant.

World Title Match
Mark Henry was superplexed by Big Show and they broke the WWE Vengeance 2011 ring. Both men are down and replays of Big Show and Mark Henry breaking and crashing the ring are shown. Both men are helped out by medics and the match is no contest.

WWE Title match
John Cena hit the AA on Del Rio through the announcer table but Miz and Rtruth attacked Cena. This distracted the referee enough to allow Del Rio to recover and hit Cena with the WWE Title. Alberto Del Rio retains the WWE Title as Cena could not make it up for the 10 count.

World Heavyweight Championship: Mark Henry (c) vs. The Big Show
Mark Henry as World Champ is perhaps one of the best decisions in the WWE in recent years. He is just the dominant, credible heel champion that has not actually existed for a long time. Mark Henry does his job really well in his promos and his matches, he bring this passion which cover up for his limited ring skills.

I for one enjoy his title run, even if Randy Orton has to disappear from the title picture. The feud with Big Show is logical and consistent, it makes sense from a storyline perspective. Henry is one of the few exceptions who can credibly stand toe to toe with Big Show.

Who will win the match, however, is relatively open to debate. Big Show could lose his cool and attack Mark Henry with chairs or tables. Or indeed, Henry has no desire to win the match and get DQ or leaves the ring.

WWE Championship – Last Man Standing Match , Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. John Cena

The previous representation of Alberto Del Rio in his time as WWE champion is just incredible bad. By contrast John Cena is back in his usual superman mode that was last seen before the cm punk-feud in the summer.

If you look at what’s coming in the near future for John Cena and The Rock Survivor Series tag team plus the fact that nobody- except maybe the purple/red-colored Cenation – wants another John Cena title run, the outcome seems predictable.

This raises the question: How? The fact that Alberto Del Rio is alone means intervention by the GM and Kevin Nash, AwesomeTruth and the missing fifth man (Chris Jericho?) all standing together over the defeated John Cena. The shocker would have potential to set up the wwe survivor series 2011 ppv perfectly.

Tag Team Match CM Punk & Triple H vs R-Truth & The Miz

Inconsistency, illogical and overhaste. The genesis of this match are drips of these attributes. The fact is that CM Punk called Triple H ‘doofus’ and said that not much has changed under his regime, only to team up with Triple H.

How about when almost all WWE employees left the show because they are afraid of the attacks of Miz and Truth aonly to then hand over power to Johnny Ace who announce the return of AwesomeTruth. Yes this storyline is still leaving many questions open, even if some of these questions may well soon be in the “Who kidnapped Samoa Joe” category.

Other characters involved here, Kevin Nash, Vince McMahon, or whoever raised the cage. This alone opens up space for many scenarios. Interventions, inconsistencies in the Face team, etc., etc. are all possible. For the WWE Survivor Series PPV, we can see team Laurinaitis slowly take shape.

Singles Match Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton

I think WWE has booked themselves in a corner with this match up, as a loss here would hurt either men. Randy Orton just came off two straight losses to Mark Henry, while Cody Rhodes just debut the classic IC title belt. Given that this feud is likely to last until WWE TLC 2011, I’m picking Randy Orton to get the first win here.

Eve Torres vs Beth Phoenix WWE Divas Championship Match

This is one of those throwaway bout as there’s little chance of a title change here. I’m curious to see where WWE is going with the Divas of Doom/Destruction vs the Barbie Dolls Divas storyline, as the 4 Divas (Beth, Natalya, Kelly and Eve) have been feuding over the summer. It’s time for some fresh faces and I’m not really sure if WWE has the necessary talent pool to enhance this angle. Gail Kim would have been the next logical choice, but she returned to TNA Wrestling.

Sheamus vs Christian

This has been a fun feud, as these two have good chemistry in the ring and on the mic. One of the most refreshing thing in WWE is the success of Sheamus face turn, which nobody saw coming. I heard that WWE plans on Sheamus being the next breakout babyface and I think that could happen if the build up is done correctly. Christian will likely do the job here, which is no surprise if you see his win-loss record against Randy Orton.
