ImpactWrestling.com recently featured a fan Q&A session with Dixie Carter. Here are some highlights:
* “I would love Impact to be live each week, but it’s a matter of economics. As far as wrestling news sites are concerned, if you want to be surprised then people should not read them. If people choose to, they certainly shouldn’t judge anything based upon one persons opinion, good or bad. The few times I have seen a spoiler, they always tell a limited, one-dimensional side of a story, and usually a very biased one at that.”
* “It is our top priority to take the show on the road on a permanent basis. Hopefully we will announce more live event Impact taping dates soon.”
* “I’ve never felt better about every aspect of the company. I think Impact Wrestling is better than it has ever been. So many of the younger talent have stepped up and are earning the spotlight. We are having tremendous international success, and are growing the corporation in many new areas, which are critical to our overall growth. I’m very excited about the upcoming year.”
- This week’s episode of Impact drew a 1.27 rating on Spike TV, which is up from the 1.14 the show drew last week.
- Evan Bourne took shot at WWE’s consistent plugging of Twitter…on Twitter:
wonder if WWE ’13 will have our twitter handles, random tweet pop ups and Cole talking tweets? Might make gameplay as annoying as viewing.
My guess is WWE 13: “The Network”. You are Vince and control the WWE with a WWE “Univers(e)al” Remote. Create history and earn money!
Styles Injured, Punk Disses TNA, Melina/Morrison Break Up? Why Kelly Was Named Twice

- AJ Styles wrote the following on Twitter today:
“Rolled out of bed to see how the ankle was after last night………. Not good, crap!!!!”
He sprained it during a match with Gunner at the Battle Creek, Michigan house show. He botched a move on the apron and was down for about minute.
- CM Punk took a shot at TNA while arguing with a fan at Friday’s Raw World Tour event in Amneville, France. Here’s the clip:
Punk seeing the camera likely knew it would end up online so decided to cause a bit of controversy.
- Melina and John Morrison’s relationship seems to be rocky, considering the former Diva‘s latest Twitter update. She wrote:
“I haven’t met Mr. Right yet. But I have met Mr. Fake, Mr. Rude, Mr. Wrong & Mr. Player.”
- WWE Diva Kelly Kelly appeared on Miami’s 560 WQAM Sports Radio Friday and discussed how her ring name was created:
“My first day, my wrestling name was going to be Kelly. Then, I came back the next week and Vince (McMahon) had this wonderful idea, ‘Let’s call her Kelly Kelly. Let’s just give her two first names; we’ve never done that before,” she said. “So, there you go.”

- Steve Austin rocks a Zack Ryder Broski headband on Twitter:
- Ric Flair raised a few eyebrows at the recent Gregory Helms benefit night by taking shot at TNA’s ratings. He made the joke that Mick Foley’s victory over him in TNA doesn’t count because nobody watches it.
Helms raised close to $5,500 from the evening, which featured stand-up comedy from Mick Foley and on and off from Flair. There was also a Q&A session, where Edge said he was relieved to have retired from WWE.
The event also featured TNA’s Gunner, former WCW star Lodi, ECW original C.W. Anderson and Reby Sky (Matt Hardy’s girlfriend).
- Chris Masters has launched a new website at TheMasterLock.com, where he will be debuting an Internet series entitled “The Masterpiece Theater.”

- Rock band “If I Had a Hi Fi” which has a song playing off a 1983 feud between Harely Race and Ric Flair entitled “Somebody Take the Damn Money,” has been forced to alter the tract due to violating WWE copyright. The song features clips from Harely Race’s promo where he put up a $25,000 bounty for anyone who could take out Ric Flair. This is part of WWE’s extensive tape library.

- Mick Foley, Edge, Ric Flair and others will be helping to raise funds for Gregory Helms’ medical bills by appearing at the Comedy Zone in Charlotte, NC for a money raising night. Foley will be performing his stand up comedy routine, and the others will be do signings.
Helms is recovering from a motorcycle accident a few months back.
- Dolph Ziggler wrote the following on Twitter the other night while attending the Florida Championship Wrestling developmental territory:
“off to tampa to make an IMPACT and SPIKE the ratings Friday night in Orlando for FCW!!! See the #HEEL LIVE”

- WWE recently trademarked the phrase “Suntan Super Man”, which R-Truth used previously in TNA.
It doesn’t mean they’ll be using the name, it could be that they’re just preventing R-Truth from using it again in the future if he ever leaves.

-WWE pushing forward to create plans to a WWE brands cable network. She was a commercial this week during the RAW reveals, that it in 2012 debut.
As already mentioned, as the old WWE, and new WWE programming, there were talks about the creation of non-wrestling-original content with WWE stars as actors (in films, comedies, etc.), and may also log on shows produced by other companies.
-WWE.com recently published an article asks whether Zack Ryder Internet Championship on TV presented to be. Ryder is quoted:

John Cena Disses the rock, update on Skip Sheffield, MVP News
-MVP won his first defense of the Intercontinental IWGP title yesterday in Japan, defeating Toru Yano in a rematch of the final of the tournament last month where he was crowned the MVP champion. Also in action in the new pay-per-view Japan Pro Wrestling domain yesterday was former star WWE Lance Hoyt and Brian Kendrick, making a surprise appearance.
-Skip Sheffield was discovered in Tampa, Florida this weekend on crutches, and one of his legs in a cast. Sheffield recently had another round of surgery and is expected to be in action at some point this year.
-John Cena wrote the following on Twitter yesterday, in response to the rock publishing a photo of Goofy last week and relating it to dinner:
"I just saw this from my good friend Dwayne." I had the same reserved disney vacation but would rather appear in wwe events to perform to carry equipment. The team is shown. NXT star arrested, all wheels rings update, Bill DeMott at raw, Rhodes disses Twitter
It has been revealed that luck cannon of the NXT was release in February in Hillsbourgh, Florida arrested and charged with falsely assume the identity of a police officer.
Cannon worked previously as a police officer actually.

- WWE’s Mark Henry recently talked to The West Australian and noted that he is planning on retiring in the next 18 months and then moving on to train and work with the younger stars.
- RVD had the following to say about Drew Carey on Twitter:
“DREW CAREY GETS INDUCTED INTO THE WWE HALL OF FAME. MAN, I’M GLAD I’M NOT A WWE WRESTLER.”

Angelina told TMZ that Snooki is trying to rip her off by becoming a wrestler and called her "a fat troll who should never wear those shorts ... or be in a wrestling ring."
