A week removed from Vengeance, one week away from Turning Point.  Aside from the Muppets taking over the Raw Supershow, it was a pretty average week for the WWE as they build to the final PPV of the Big Four, WWE Survivor Series 2011.

It has been a nice breather from how exhausting October was.  It seemed like there was a PPV almost every week or so.  It was also an average week for TNA that was surprisingly not as bad as the last two weeks have been.  It was not anywhere close to good, but at least it was passable.

So without further ado let us take a look at the biggest new in the professional wrestling this week.

 

Monday Night Muppets

Last week’s Raw took place on Halloween and had the Muppets take over as special guests in order to promote their new movie that comes out later this month.  All-in-all, this writer felt it was an entertaining night.  The wrestling was good at best and the promos, which mostly involved various Muppets, were hit or miss.

The mass wrestling community will either love or hate this episode and it will depend on how if you enjoy watching the Muppets.  You have to say, the Beaker and Sheamus moment was amazing.  Ever since Edge compared Sheamus to Beaker on the 900th episode of Raw, wrestling fans have been waiting for the opportunity to see Beaker and Sheamus in the same segment and WWE gave us what we wanted.

Personally, I felt that the wrestler’s involved in these segments with the Muppets were having a lot of fun and it showed on Raw especially Jack Swagger.  It looked like he had a lot of fun working with Kermit the Frog and Gonzo.

For one night only, it did not hurt WWE and it might have given them some mainstream exposure, which is always good for the company.  The WWE has had their fun, now they have to get a little more serious as we move ever-so closer to Survivor Series.

Awesome Truth Meet Super Cena

At the beginning of Raw, a video of the Rock’s response to John Cena’s invitation to tag with him at Survivor Series was shown.  After teasing that he may not accept, the People’s Champ ultimately said he will team with John Cena at Survivor Series to face Awesome Truth.

To further build this match, the Miz vs. John Cena was booked for the main event of Raw.  The match was promoted as a WrestleMania Rematch since Raw was in Atlanta for Raw.  The main event was a pretty good match.  It was better than their match at WrestleMania, but still was not that great.

The main thing this writer wants to talk about is the ending of this match that saw Cena fight off a disguised R-Truth before locking in the STF on the Miz to get the submission victory.  Immediately following the match, R-Truth jumps into the ring to attack Cena, but gets caught in an Attitude Adjustment from Super Cena.

In the matter of one minute, John Cena made the Miz and R-Truth look completely inferior to him and devalued his match at Survivor Series.  Why does John Cena need the Rock to help him fight the Miz and R-Truth when he can beat them by himself?

WWE really needs to make Awesome Truth look like legitimate threats to John Cena and the Rock or they could be in another situation like the burial of Alberto Del Rio back at Night of Champions.

 

It Doesn’t Pay to be Roode

We are only two weeks removed from James Strom capturing the TNA World Title from Kurt Angle.  On last Thursday’s Impact Wrestling saw Strom’s first title defense against Beer Money tag team partner and good friend, Bobby Roode.  A ref bump and a beer bottle shot later, James Strom’s reign as TNA World Heavyweight Champion was over and replaced a newly turned heel Bobby Roode.

The match itself was pretty good, but the ending was absolutely horrible and ruined the whole match in my opinion.  A heel turn does not just happen for no reason.  There should be hints dropped before the turn eventually happens.

With Roode’s heel turn, TNA did nothing to hint at that he would turn on Strom.  All TNA had to do was have a backstage segment where Roode and Strom are talking and Roode starts starring at the title or have Roode show some jealousy towards Strom for winning the title instead of him.  At this point in time, this whole angle feels rushed from the company that likes to plan their storylines months in advance.

It also feels like there was a lot of backlash over Bobby Roode not winning the TNA World Title at Bound for Glory by fans and the locker room that TNA and mainly Hulk Hogan were trying to cover their asses.

If TNA really planned for the long term, they would have had this angle take place over the next five months leading up to their Lockdown PPV next April with Roode eventually winning the title and turning heel down the road.

We will most likely get an explanation why Roode turned heel on this week’s Impact Wrestling, but that will not be enough to convince this writer.  If handled with care and given time, a Bobby Roode vs. James Strom feud could be the best thing TNA will ever have going for them.  By rushing things, TNA could have severely hurt the potential of this feud.

 

Daniel Bryan vs. Mark Henry, Possible WrestleMania Main Event

We got another entertaining night of television this past Friday on Smackdown.  There was a great Street Fight between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton to kick off the show, which you should all take time to watch.  What this writer wants to talk about was the main event between World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry and Smackdown Money in the Bank winner Daniel Bryan.

If Mark Henry can hold onto the World Title until WrestleMania, this match could be one of the main events on the Grandest Stage of Them All and we got a preview on Smackdown.  It was your classic David vs. Goliath match where Henry dominated Bryan for the majority of the contest.

Bryan would get in a flurry of moves in on the World Heavyweight Champion, which looked amazing, but to no avail.  Henry would eventually get Bryan back into a corner where he started destroying him with splashes.  The match would come to an end when Big Show, who accompanied Daniel Bryan to ringside, jumped into the ring a hit Henry with his WMD punch.

Even though the match ended in disqualification, it was a great preview of what may and hopefully will come at WrestleMania 28.  For Daniel Bryan to be the superstar to defeat the ever dominate Mark Henry on the Biggest PPV of the Year would catapult the American Dragon to the high heights of the main event scene.

SmackDown! General Manager Teddy Long comes out and wants to explain how the future World Title picture of SmackDown will look like when Christian suddenly comes into the hall.

As always, Christian calls for another title match, after which CM Punk comes in the hall. CM Punk makes fun of Christian and Teddy Long sets up a match between Christian and CM Punk.

Non-Title Match The Miz & R-Truth defeated Air Boom (Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston) (c) by a double team action against Kofi Kingston and subsequent pinfall by R-Truth .. – [05:43]

After the match, Awesome Truth take a microphone and announce that they will be put John Cena out of action before the Survivor Series. Unless, The Rock decides to take out John Cena first.

Backstage Santino Marella and Tyson Kidd are with Daniel Bryan. Bryan and Kidd argue about who was the better wrestler. Santino then proposes that they should clarify it in the ring

Singles match Wade Barrett defeated Trent Baretta by Wasteland. – [02:30] .

Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes sat at ringside for the following match on the announce table

Non-Title Match Randy Orton defeated Dolph Ziggler (w / Vickie Guerrero) (c) by RKO. – [12:28] . After the match, Cody Rhodes throws off his headset and leaves the hall after a staredown with Randy Orton.

Backstage Hunico is interviewed by Matt Striker. Hunico says he is out to get the real Sin Cara because he feels disrespected.

Single Match: Daniel Bryan defeated Tyson Kidd via submission in the LeBell Lock. – [02:44] Michael Cole stands up and announces that Jim Ross has accepted the challenge to Michael Cole Challenge. Then he makes fun of JR and again with some fake photos on the Titantron Show.

The Big Show comes out and talks about the events of Vengeance. In addition, Teddy Long had assured him another title match. World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry comes into the hall and does not agree, because he was in his opinion, done with The Big Show.

Singles match CM Punk defeated Christian via G2S after Alberto del Rio and Sheamus came to the ring during the match to intervene. – [10:50]

What happened after the show: Tony Chimel stands in the ring and announces a 41-Man Battle Royal. which was won by Sheamus. After the match, Sheamus can celebrate while Christian calls for another championship match.

Last Sunday, WWE returned to the Land of the Free for their Vengeance PPV event.  This writer did not get a chance to watch, but from what I have read it was a very polarizing event.  Some people thought it was the best PPV of the year (sorry, this writer does not believe that a B show like Vengeance could dethrone Money in the Bank from that position), but the vast majority believe it was another average non-memorable PPV. 

The Raw and Smackdown that followed Vengeance this week were very enjoyable shows with some of the best matches we have seen in a while.  Just watch the Randy Orton vs. Dolph Ziggler match from Smackdown this last Friday and you will see what this writer means. 

Talking about great wrestling if you have not gotten a chance to check out ROH’s new TV show, you are missing out.  ROH puts on quality wrestling matches week-in week-out.  It might not have the production values of a WWE or TNA show, but if you enjoy pure wrestling over promos and skits ROH is the show for you.

And with that let us rundown the biggest news in this past week of professional wrestling.

 

John Cena to Tag With The Rock, Wait Wasn’t That Already Announced?

Well to the chagrin of the thousand members of the Cenation and a sigh of relief to every other wrestling fan, Super Cena did not leave San Antonio with the WWE Championship.  Del Rio did get the win over Cena in the Last Man Standing Match, but not without some help from the Miz and R-Truth. 

After beating the likes of Triple H and CM Punk at Vengeance, the team of Awesome Truth has set their sights on the Face of the WWE.  Monday rolled around and Laurinaitus put John Cena with Zack Ryder to face Awesome Truth in the main event of Raw.  Before Ryder made it out to the ring for his first Raw main event, the Miz and R-Truth attacked the Long Island Iced Z. 

Without a partner for Cena, the match was changed into a Handicap Match.  Cena went hold-for-hold with Miz and Truth until the Awesome Truth decided to take out Cena rather than get the win.  R-Truth hit Cena with a water bottle and the match was thrown out.  The Miz and R-Truth would go on to attack a defenseless Cena until security and John Laurinaitus rushed out to stop them. 

We even got to see some emotion from the monotone Senior Vice President of Talent Relations before he announced that the Awesome Truth will face John Cena and a partner of Cena’s choosing at Survivor Series. 

To everybody’s surprise (not), Cena chose the Rock to be his tag team partner and now will be waiting for The People’s Champ answer this week on Raw.  The thing that this writer cannot get out of his head is the fact that Cena and The Rock are teaming or joining forces as the poster says at Survivor Series has already been announced about a month ago. 

Why the bluest of blue hell is WWE trying to insult our intelligence with this stupid angle when we already know the result?!  If the WWE kept their mouths firmly shut and had The Rock’s appearance at Survivor Series be more of a surprise, the final angle on last Monday’s Raw would have been amazing. 

By releasing an official poster that has the tagline, “The Rock and John Cena Join Forces.  Never Before, Never Again” a month before this reveal, the WWE killed all the impact of Cena asking The Rock to team with him at Survivor Series and The Rock’s clearly obvious acceptance of that offer this week on Raw.

CM Punk’s Quest for the Gold Meets Johnny Ace

After losing the WWE Championship to Alberto Del Rio back at Summerslam, CM Punk never received his one-on-one rematch for the title that he once held.  Back from fighting the likes of Triple, the Miz and R-Truth and with John Cena off doing other things, it looks to be Punk’s turn to enjoy the limelight of the WWE Championship scene. 

On Raw this past Monday, the Voice of the Voiceless interrupted the WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio’s victory speech and made his case.  That did not help as the Interim GM of Raw and Grade-A Weasel John Laurinaitus would not give the Straight Edge Superstar the match with Del Rio unless he proved himself worthy. 

Laurinaitus wanted Punk to say he respected and in CM Punk fashion, he did technically said he respected the Raw GM, but still found a way to make fun of the Senior VP of Talent Relations, which Laurinaitus did not enjoy. 

So this week on Raw CM Punk will face the World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry and if he somehow irks out a victory over the World’s Strongest Man, Punk will get his shot for the WWE Title at Survivor Series. 

Hopefully WWE will find a way to give Punk his title shot and not hurt Henry’s credibility.  After the months of Cena dominating the WWE Championship scene, it is a nice change of scenery to see Punk and Del Rio feud for the title.

Bischoff Family Feud

It seems that every week, this writer has something bad to say about TNA.  For the few TNA fans that actually read this weekly article, to quote James Storm sorry about your damn luck.  If the product that TNA put out on a weekly basis was not so downright horrible, this writer would not bash them so much. 

So let us dive into what inane storyline TNA has for us this week.  From the ever-creative minds that gave us a feud between Daivari and a referee, now taking centre stage is a feud between Eric Bischoff and his son, Garett Bischoff. 

Two weeks back at Bound for Glory, Eric revealed something all us have known for a year now that referee Jackson James was Bischoff’s son.  Hoping that Garett could screw Sting out of beating Hogan at the event, Eric’s plan did not come to fruition.  Garett called the match right down the middle, which upset his egotistic father. 

Now we wrestling fans have to suffer for it as this past week on Impact instead of focusing on the TNA World Title, we got this feud shoved down our throats.  Yes, it seems relevant considering how it was set-up at Bound for Glory, but why focus on a feud involving two non-wrestlers rather than give that time to the actual wrestlers? 

Hopefully the ending of these weeks Impact will be the end of it as Eric Bischoff and Ric Flair beat the crap out of Garett and we can move on to other better feuds.  Sadly that does not seem likely as rumours say that TNA is hoping to build towards a Hulk Hogan and Garett Bischoff vs. Eric Bischoff and Ric Flair match for Lockdown next April. 

TNA, personally I don’t know how you do it, but you keep topping yourself week-in and week-out.  Cannot wait to see what crap you will have for us this week on Impact Wrestling.

Mark Henry and the Big Show, a Wrestling Ring’s Worst Nightmare

If you have not heard or seen it by now finish reading this article and go find it.  Wondering what I am talking about?  Look up at the picture above.  Last Sunday at Vengeance, Mark Henry and the Big Show wrestled to a no contest as the two superstars were unable to continue after a superplex that literally destroyed the ring. 

For many this spot has been seen before, but for all the new fans that were unable to watch this spectacle happen back in 2003 with the Big Show and Brock Lesnar, it was an amazing memory for them. 

My thoughts are that it was a pretty good spot that has not been used in a long time so I am fine with it.  Hopefully WWE does not exploit this spot and have it happen every year or so with the Big Show.  It is a spot that should only happen every once a decade or so or it might lose its luster. 

Considering how the match ended Sunday, personally I was surprised nothing has been set in stone for a rematch between Mark Henry and the Big Show.  On Smackdown, Big Show did say that he will get a rematch against Henry, but he did not say when, where and what kind of match.  Reinforcing the ring and having another normal singles match would be nice. 

Sunday showed that the squared circle cannot contain the force of these two giants so why not make the stakes higher and have Henry and Show compete in a Falls Count Anywhere Match at Survivor Series. 

It would be crazy to see the World’s Strongest Man and the World’s Largest Athlete fight each other all around Madison Square Garden.  It would open up the possibilities to have some really destructive spots and culminate the feud between Mark Henry and the Big Show just fine.

Will we have the announcement of the next mega PPV match card on the WWE Raw 10 24 11 October 24 2011 supershow? The Rock and John Cena teaming up has already been announced, will the remaining members of their team be revealed on this week Raw?

There has been wild rumors that the likes of Stone Cold or the Undertaker will return to wrestle at the upcoming WWE Survivor Series 2011 PPV.

Meanwhile backstage sources have confirm that Mick Foley returns to WWE on the three hour Raw episode on Monday, 14 November 2011, plus Foley will also appear in the upcoming RAW & SmackDown after the Survivor Series 2011 pay-per-view.

The fallout from TNA Bound For Glory 2011 begins with the TNA Impact Wrestling 10 20 11 October 20 2011 Results|Spoilers from Orlando Florida.

TNA Entertainment has crowned on Tuesday at the IMPACT WRESTLING tapings James Storm new TNA World Heavyweight Champion. The tagteam partner of Bobby Roode – “The Tennessee Cowboy” James Storm defeated Kurt Angle for the title.

For the 34 year old TNA veteran (since 2002 in the promotion), it was the first World Title win of his career. During nine years, he won eleven tagteam titles (6 x with Chris Harris [America's Most Wanted], 1 with Christopher Daniels, Robert Roode with 4 x [Beer Money]).

We begin with Sting talking about how he has return the company back to Dixie Carter and bring back the real Hulk Hogan.

The Hulkster comes out in the Red and Yello Hulkamania attire and gets “welcome back” chants from the crowd. Hulk Hogan explain that he was wrong to follow Eric Bischoff, even if his friend had helped him through a difficult period.

Hogan thanked Sting for bringing out the real Hulk Hogan. Dixie Carter is out and thanked Sting for what’s he done and put him in charge of the decision making for Impact Wrestling. This means Sting will be calling the shots and Kurt Angle is unhappy as he enters the scene.

Angle wants the power to decide things too since he is the TNA World Champion, after defeating that “loser” Bobby Rhoode. This bring out Rhoode who point out that Angle cheated to win and Rhoode was screwed.

Hulk Hogan reveal that when he was still part of Immortal, he and Eric Bischoff made ??sure that Bobby Roode would get only one title match against the Olympic Hero Kurt Angle.

Since this had taken place at Bound for Glory, Angle is pleased that there would be no rematch. Then the new regime of Dixie Carter announce a new challenger: James Storm is out and he wants the title shot against Kurt Angle and Sting agrees to make the match for the World Title tonight, James Storm vs Kurt Angle.

The two argue about Jeff Hardy returning to TNA Wrestling and then brawl. Security tries in vain to break up the fight, Jarrett low blow Hardy before leaving.

However Karen has another idea, and former WWE Diva Gail Kim returns to TNA Impact Wrestling and attack Velvet Sky. Madison Rayne joins in the attack and celebrates with Gail Kim and Karen Jarrett.

Highlights of the Hulk Hogan and Sting match at Bound For Glory is shown along with the revelation that Eric Bischoff and Jackson James are father and son.

Immortal (Eric Bischoff, Gunner, Bully Ray, Scott Steiner) comes to the ring and Bischoff promise to deal with his son. But first he want Hulk Hogan to explain why he turned on Immortal, Hogan praise Bischoff son (Garrett Bischoff ) for doing the right thing.

Immortal threaten to attack Hulk Hogan but Sting rushes in with baseball bats and this scare off Immortal. Garrett Bischoff sneak in from behind and attack his father Eric Bischoff.

James Storm is backstage and has doubts about the title shot but Bobby Rhoode fired him up to grasp the opportunity.

So now everything seems to be setup for a feud between the two members of “Beer Money” over the belt. Bobby Roode had attempt in the main event of TNA’s biggest PPV of the year – Bound for Glory in vain to win the world title from Kurt Angle.

James Storm benefited now two days later, apparently from the ailing health of the Olympic hero. The title match at IMPACT was just 54 seconds.

Kurt Angle attack Storm non stop for half a minute and argued with the ref. As Angle refocus, he gets a superkick from Storm, Kurt Angle was covered easily for the quick loss.

Last week, we all witnessed some of the worst wrestling television of the year.  With the WWE in Mexico for Raw and Smackdown, it was possible that we would see a huge improvement over last week’s abysmal episodes. 

Also last Sunday, Total Nonsensical Action had their big wrestling extravaganza in Bound for Glory.  TNA did nothing to show that they are willing to improve and read on to see how Dixie Carter’s wrestling organization put last week’s episodes of Raw and Smackdown to shame (and not in a good way). 

So with that let us rundown the biggest news in the wonderful yet slightly insane World of Wrestling.

 

Last Man Standing

Last week, the WWE announced that Super Cena would get his rematch for the WWE Championship against Mexico’s Favourite Son, Alberto Del Rio.  This week, John Cena (who sadly did not bring his Mexican cousin, Jaun Cena) teamed with Good Ol’ Jim Ross to face the Mexican Aristocrat and the Epitome of Fail known as Michael Cole to determine what stipulation Cena and Del Rio’s Championship Match will be. 

Surprisingly, it was an entertaining main event that saw Cena and Del Rio do all the heavy lifting.  The WWE left the fans happy as Jim Ross made Michael Cole tap out to the Ankle Lock.  After we all learned that John Cena can actually count to 10 (yes, it was a big surprise), the Poster Boy of the Big E revealed that his match with Del Rio will be a Last Man Standing Match. 

Like we did not figure that out from Cena’s long-winded counting.  If the WWE hopes to repair Del Rio’s main event status, he HAS to win this Sunday against Cena. 

Secondly, the WWE has to stop using Del Rio to enhance Smackdown feuds.  Just watch the ending of last Friday’s Smackdown, Del Rio looked really weak getting knocked out so easily by the Big Show.  This Sunday’s main event will definitely show if the WWE really trusts Alberto Del Rio holding the WWE Championship.  If they do not, we are in for another reign of the Almighty John Cena and that would be a bummer.

 

Like this writer mentioned last week, the WWE dropped the ball with the return of the Miz and R-Truth.  If they really wanted a match between those two and CM Punk and Triple H for Vengeance, there were much better ways of getting to the same end result.  Enough of the complaining, this week’s edition of Raw saw CM Punk battle it out against the Miz. 

The match between Punk and Miz was really good as side from Laurinaitus getting Triple H deported, which took away a bit from the match.  It would have been so much easier to just have Otunga come out and attack the Cerebral Assassin than take the focus off the match for a rather ridiculous angle. 

After all the silliness, Punk got the win over the Awesome One, but before the Best in the World could celebrate Miz and Truth administered one brutal beatdown. 

The WWE tried to make Miz and Truth look like a considerable threat to Punk and Triple H, but they would have looked like a bigger threat if they took out both Triple H and CM Punk.  With the ways things are going, this writer does not see Awesome Truth leaving Vengeance without getting buried by Triple H and CM Punk unless we get some outside interference. 

This match will be worth it only if whoever is pulling the strings in the WWE is revealed either at Vengeance or the following Raw.  If this match does not lead into that reveal, what would be the point of having it?

 

Bound for Glory came and went.  Expectations were maybe a little too high as TNA came out their old bag of bad wrestling tricks.  At least, TNA ended the book on the majority of their storylines except one.  Going into Bound for Glory, all eyes were on the main event between Bobby Roode and Kurt Angle.  Roode won the Bound for Glory Series and had been built up to be the next TNA World Heavyweight Champion.  So what did TNA decide to do? 

At the very last minute, they booked an injured Kurt Angle to go over with a controversial yet incredibly stupid finish.  Just because Hulkamania, the “supposed” Greatest Wrestler of All-Time and washed up has-been Hulk Hogan said that he thought Roode was not ready to hold the TNA World Title. 

TO steal one from the Miz, really?!  Roode has been with TNA since 2004 and in that time has put on some the best matches TNA has seen in both singles and tag team competition. 

Pound for pound, Bobby Roode is one of the best talkers and wrestlers TNA has and he has been deemed not ready by one of the men who brought down WCW with their egos.  Personally, I believe TNA does not know much damage they have caused. 

In one swoop, they have made the Bound of Glory Series, which this writer believes will become an annual thing, worthless and showed the world that they care more about the WWE rejects than their own homegrown talent. 

Wait, it gets better.  Let us look at Impact Wrestling show this last Thursday.  In order to supposedly make things right, TNA books Kurt Angle to defend the title.  Would this match be Roode’s rematch after being screwed? 

No because the amazing minds of the TNA creative team thought of an amazing cop out that Angle had Hogan and Bischoff put a clause in the contract that stated after Bound for Glory, Roode would never get a shot at the title as long as Angle remains champion. 

So James Storm steps in to face Angle and the Tennessee Cowboy does what Bobby Roode could not do in 15 minutes in about a minute’s time.  Awesome TNA!  You would not have Angle do the job to Bobby Roode at your biggest PPV of the year, but handing the title to James Storm on Impact Wrestling is perfectly fine. 

Just one question, then why didn’t Storm win the Bound for Glory Series?  And the kicker, this match was the main event of a show that had about 7 minutes of actual wrestling!  

Guess TNA really wants to occupy the spot of worst wrestling on television because Impact Wrestling this week put almost all of the bad shows WWE has put on to shame and not in a good way. 

It is sad to say because of all the people that will lose their jobs, but TNA is burying their own grave.  If Dixie Carter, Jeff Jarrett and everybody behind the scenes don’t all smarten up, there will be no way to save this sinking ship.

Raw kicked off in Mexico City with none other than the vice president of talent relation and Interim general manager of Raw, John Laurinaitis. Mr Laurinaitis made his way to the ring where he began to tease the Mexican crowd by announcing the return of Ray Mysterio……to his doctor in San Diego, well that was what I think he was trying say but I couldn’t quite make it of through all the mumbling and messing up lines. I have no problem with Laurinaitis being GM, in fact it makes more sense than HHH, however the only skill you need to have is to be good on the mic and John is far from good. Nevertheless he continued to so state that he was wrong for firing Jim Ross and therefore has re-hired good old JR, JR made his way to the ring where John Laurinaitis greeted him with a hug and informed him that he didn’t want JR to commentate tonight instead he has arranged a match which will settle JR’s feud with Michael Cole and that match will be John Cena & Jim Ross Vs Del Rio & Michael Cole.

***Commercial Break***

The first match on raw was a 6 man tag team match which consisted of the viper, Jomo and the great white taking on the team of the world’s strongest man, captain charisma, the mono tone man Cody Rhodes. On their way to the ring Randy Orton and Sheamus got a great pop from the Mexican crowd. The match was a good heat builder for the PPV this Sunday, as Orton and Rhodes fought on the outside and which lead Rhodes fleeing backstage with Randy hot on his tail.

Christian and Sheamus also took to the outside and began to fight through the crowd, which left poor old John Morrison to put Henry over once again.

As we come back from another commercial we shown yet another Brodus clay clip of him destroying other superstars, I don’t know about you but I’m starting to get bored of seeing a video of Clay and would much rather see the real thing, as the WWE have spent enough time building him up.

John Laurinaitis is back stage in his office talking to someone on his cell phone when Del Rio interrupts him, Alberto complains about the match he was put in tonight, in which Laurinaitis informed him that the winner of the match will be able to choose the stipulation for his match against Cena at Vengeance this Sunday.

Next saw Eve Torres take on Natalya, as Eve made her way to the ring Michael Cole announced that Eve will get a shot at the WWE Divas championship against Beth Phoenix at Vengeance.

As far as the match goes, it was rather disappointing. Eve got the victory over Natalya via a Moonsault even though Natalya carried her through the whole thing. When it comes to the women’s division I think the WWE are right to have put the strap on Beth as she is clearly one of the best women’s wrestlers the company has, however why on earth is Natalya not getting over? It baffles me as to why the WWE aren’t pushing, arguably their best female talent Natalya and instead decides to put people like Kelly Kelly over who in my opinion if you asked to stack three Lego bricks on top of each other, she would struggle. Also whenever Karma makes her return, I hope it’s not Natalya doing the jobbing.

The next match of the night was CM Punk Vs The Miz and on his way to the ring Punk got a great reaction by the crowd. Truth and Miz then rap (sort of) their way to the ring and cut a promo at Punk saying that Punk is Jealous as they managed to do what he couldn’t which was to get HHH fired. Truth added that he hates Punk as he runs his mouth too much and at Vengeance him and Hunter are going get got. Triple H’s music hits and on his way to the ring Hunter begins to take off his jacket and tie, he enters the ring to back up punk.

The match stars with HHH in Punk’s corner and Truth in Miz’s corner. During the contest Punk is thrown to the outside, Miz then distracts the referee whilst truth hit punk with water bottle, triple H then chased truth up ramp. Before Hunter can get his hands on Truth, John Laurinaitis comes out to stop the match. Laurinaitis says that there is an immigration problem, and HHH must immediately leave the arena. HHH refuses to leave, but Laurinaitis informs HHH that since he is still the COO, it would be an embarrassment to the company if he doesn’t. The COO reluctantly made his way out of the arena.

***Commercial Break***

The match is restarted and R-Truth has made his way back to ringside. After a few knees and elbows by punk, he goes for the GTS which Miz counters into a skull crushing finale however Punk manages to wriggle of it and pushes Miz into R-Truth who is standing on the apron, Punk goes for the roll up and gets the victory.

After the match is over, Truth and Miz beat on Punk for a substantial amount of time. Eventually a rush of referees hit the ring to break up the beat down, Miz and Truth seem to calmly comply with the ref’s request but both decide to give Punk a finisher each just to make sure the job is done. Overall this match was a good one and done exactly what it was suppose to, which was to build heat for Miz and Truth ahead of their tag match at Vengeance.

Jack Swagger makes his way to the ring being accompanied by Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler. Once in the ring Vickie warms up the crowd by stating that she is the Angelina Jolie of Mexico City, she also added that John Laurinaitis has granted a match for the Tag titles at vengeance.

SPOILER ALERT:

This announcement seemed a bit strange as at the SmackDown taping, it was also announced that Dolph Ziggler is going to defend the US title against Zack Ryder (which I’d much rather watch).

Nevertheless the mic was then passed to the United States Champ Dolph Ziggler who cut the best promo of the night by far, stating how it is a privilege for the audience to see them in the ring. In my opinion, I feel Ziggler has proven himself in many ways to the WWE, for example he can wrestle with the best of them, his good mic skills and not forgetting his ability to draw heat (with a little help from Vickie Guerrero) and therefore is entitled to a bit more of a push. Anyway, after Ziggler’s promo he passes the mic to Swagger who begins to sing the American national anthem, which is gratefully interrupted by Zack Ryder who is scheduled to face Swagger.

Ryder gets a quick win over the all American American via the Rough Ryder, after the match Swagger and Ziggler both attack the True Long Island Iced-Z until Mason Ryan comes to his aid. Jack and Dolph exit ring before the Welsh monster can get his hands on either of them but Mason Ryan calls Ziggler back to the ring as they have a match next.

***Commercial Break***

The match starts with Zack Ryder, Jack Swagger and Vickie Guerrero at ringside in their respective corners. Throughout the match Mason Ryan is all over Ziggler. However Ziggler roles out of the ring in which Ryan follows, only to be met by a slap across the face by Angelina, I mean Vickie (such an uncanny resemblance). Mason Ryan retaliates by beating on Ziggler in the corner of the ring, the ref counts to 5 for Ryan to let him Dolph go but he refuses and this leads to a DQ.

Jim Ross and Cena cut a promo back stage, where JR says he too old to wrestle a match and he doesn’t want to mess it up for Cena. Cena says he hasn’t got anything to worry about as Del Rio has never beaten him, JR adds that he would love to get hold of Cole if possible.

We go back to Michael Cole at ringside who gets on the mic to say that he is off to get ready for his match and that he will beat good old JR and may even pin John Cena. Cole also added that his wife is Mexican so they have to cheer him. No crowd reaction at all.

***Commercial Break***

Josh Matthews joins the King on commentary; they then go through all the matches scheduled for Vengeance before Del Rio makes his way to the ring.

***Another Commercial break, really? only 3 minutes after the last one?***

Cole make his way to the ring with no music and no reaction from the crowd what so ever (I bet WWE weren’t expecting that).

JR makes his way to the ring and awaits Cena, Cena’s music hits and there are mostly cheers but some boos from the crowd. Midway through the match I didn’t think a John Cena match could get any more comical than we have previously seen but it is possible, all you have to do is just add Michael Cole. The match was very slow with Cena getting beat any trying to sell and the usual comeback, Cena goes for the AA but Del Rio tags in Cole, Cena hits him with the AA and tags in JR, who gets Cole in ankle lock for the win.

Overall the match was relatively poor and never really got going, also the once lively crowd seemed to fizzle to silence. After the match was over Cena gave the AA to Del Rio and began to attack him with the steel steps. When Del Rio was on the floor John counted to ten, which he then announced at Vengeance it will be John Cena Vs Alberto Del Rio competing for the WWE Championship in a last man standing match.

Raw goes off air.

Overall Raw did precisely what was expected and simply built up the storylines/heat for the forthcoming PPV this Sunday and I’m not saying that was a bad thing, but it didn’t exactly blow me away in the process.

Last Sunday and Monday was a busy two days for the WWE.  New champions were crowned in Alberto Del Rio, new WWE Champion, and Beth Phoenix, new Divas Champion, a controversial ending to Hell in a Cell courtesy of the Miz and R-Truth and one unprecedented walkout to end it all. 

The rest of the week was not as busy as those two days, but there was quite a bit more news that happened later in the week.  So let us rundown the biggest news from Smackdown and Impact Wrestling.

 

The WWE Walkout

Well we took a small look at the event now known as the Walkout in the last Silver Report.  There has been quite a bit of news involving this event that circulated throughout the week.  First piece of news was revealed on Smackdown as the over 50 superstars who walked out on Triple H have stated that they will only wrestle on Smackdown as long as the COO of the WWE is in control of Raw because Triple H has relinquished control of the brand to Teddy Long. 

The last two pieces of news was revealed on WWE’s official website.  First, Triple H has announced that John Cena, Randy Orton, Sheamus, CM Punk and the Big Show will be one Raw.  Second, the over 50 superstars, referees, cameramen, announcers and divas have a Solitary Rally before Raw in order to allow their demand that Triple H step down as COO be heard. 

The situation has escalated even further as Triple H has said that even if the employees who walked out on him last Monday come to Raw, he will not let them in.  It seems that this situation will not be solved so easily. 

The fact of the matter is that Triple H brought this problem on himself.  Instead of trying to work out a compromise with the employees that walked out on him, Triple H has let his ego and personal feelings get in the way once again and added more fuel to the fire.  The COO of the WWE has played right into the hands of whoever is pulling the strings in the WWE.  Time is running out fast and Triple H is on the edge of losing this invisible power struggle.

 

Bobby Roode vs James Storm, The Untapped Potential

The main event match of Impact Wrestling this last week saw tag team partners face-off one-on-one, James Storm and Bobby Roode as part of the set of matches Angle set up for Roode.  What us wrestling fans laid witness to was one of the best singles bout TNA has put on in a long time. 

That was until TNA could not resist their ever-so-frequent urge to overbook a match.  A ref bump and some interference later, a great match was ruined.  At least those two showed us how great of a match they can put on. 

Considering that it most certainly looks like Roode will be leaving Bound For Glory with TNA World Heavyweight Championship around his waist, this writer has been thinking.  The best feud TNA can put together and they have been hinting at it for the last month now is a feud between James Storm and Bobby Roode for the TNA Title. 

The Impact after Bound For Glory, you have Beer Money team in the main event against Kurt Angle and another heel like Gunner or Bully Ray.  Beer Money wins the match and Roode and Storm celebrate with the title and some beers. 

While Roode celebrates with the title, Storm takes his empty beer bottle and smashes Roode in the face with it thus busting him open.  Storm would continue to beat down Roode, leaving the champion in a pool of his own blood as he stood over him with holding the TNA Title. 

Given a good story built on Storm’s jealousy for Roode, this feud could give TNA some good buzz for once.  Also if TNA resists their urge to overbook the match they eventually have, Roode and Storm will be able to bring some much-needed prestige to the seeming worthless TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

 

Sting vs Hulk Hogan, The Match Nobody Wanted

Two weeks ago on Impact Wrestling, Hulk Hogan announced that he was “retiring” from professional wrestling.  This last week, it was revealed that Hogan was fooling the TNA fans.  Seriously did you actually believe an old leech like Hulk Hogan would retire from wrestling?  Guess some people are just so gullible. 

Hulk Hogan got so pissed off by Sting revealing his ploy that he accepted that he would face Sting in the match that was already booked for Bound For Glory. 

Did Hogan believe he had a choice in this matter?  And now he will put TNA on the line.  So now if Sting beats Hogan and there should be no doubt that he will, Dixie Carter regains control of the company.  All in all, there is now another addition to the match that nobody wants to see. 

Does TNA Wrestling get that it is not 1999; Sting and Hogan are well far removed from their prime.  For this match to be anything more than a total crapfest, they need a miracle. 

This Sting vs Hulk Hogan Bound For Glory match has been rumoured since this past March and nobody, other than the blind hardcore TNA fans, has wanted it to happen.  Thank God that this match will not be the main event of Bound For Glory as we are in store for a match that could rival how horrible Jeff Hardy vs. Sting from Victory Road, but will definitely be 20 times longer.

 

World’s Strongest Man Meet the World’s Largest Athlete

On this past Smackdown, we say the return of the World’s Largest Athlete, the Big Show.  After a three month hiatus due to an ankle injury courtesy of Mark Henry, Big Show came back to Smackdown for one purpose.  That purpose is to get revenge on Mark Henry for injuring him. 

Mark Henry may have destroyed Big Show back at Money in the Bank, but this Big Show is not the same Big Show he beat back in July.  This Big Show is fueled by revenge and that makes the World’s Largest Athlete much more dangerous as demonstrated on Smackdown. 

When Mark Henry refused to give Show a World Title match at Vengeance, the WWEs resident took it upon himself to beat the holy hell out of the World’s Strongest Man.  Big Show chokeslammed the World Champion through the announce table and was ready to break Henry’s ankle when Teddy Long came out and gave Big Show what he wanted. 

Now at WWE Vengeance 2011, we will see Big Show vs Mark Henry for the World Heavyweight Championship.  This writer is not that enthused about the match these two will have, but this title match should do wonders to legitimize Mark Henry as a dominant World Champion. 

Big Show will be Henry’s greatest challenge yet and with a decisive win over the World’s Largest Athlete, Mark Henry will seem absolutely unstoppable.

In a segment likely taped only for the live audience, DX (Triple H and Shawn Michaels) came out to urge the crowd to campaign for having Wrestlemania 29 in Dallax Texax Cowboy Stadium. They made some non PG jokes and even ask Vince Mcmahon to come to the ring. Vince refuses and DX leaves, so we then kick off the taping.

John Laurinaitis and Teddy Long officially opened the show and celebrate SmackDown as it is the second longest TV show in history. To celebrate, there is reason to have a 41-Man Battle Royal and the winner receives a Title Shot of his choice.

The Blue Sin Cara is attacked on the way to the ring by the black Sin Cara. The second Sin Cara pulls the blue mask off the first Sin Cara, remove the black mask and put the blue mask on himself.

The camera angles did not capture the faces when the masks were removed, so we did not see either Sin Cara unmasked. The 2nd Sin Cara will now take on Justin Gabriel.

A report on the upcoming Monday Night WWE Raw 10 10 11 October 10 2011 Results where we continue on the road toward the WWE Vengeance 2011 PPV.

John Cena, Sheamus and CM Punk are out and they support Triple H by showing up in the Raw ring where all the other Raw superstars are in the parking lot to protest. HHH books John Cena vs Sheamus in a match with himself as the special referee and CM Punk as guest commentator.

Vince Mcmahon returns WWE Raw 10 10 11 October 10 2011 Results

The match barely gets underway when Vince Mcmahon come out and announce that WWE Board of Directors have decided that HHH will no longer be in charge of WWE Raw. Instead they have appointed a new Interim General Manager of Raw which is John laurinaitis.

The Interim Raw General Manager John laurinaitis aka Johnny Ace will takeover as the person in charge as Triple H services are no longer required.

Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler promote the WWE Network coming in 2012 and encourage fans to vote on the name for the WWE Network Wrestlemania review show. The announcers hype that we will see many new shows on the channel which will be very interactive with the fans.

A promo for John Cena Reunion movie which is the newest WWE Film Studio production. October 21st is the release date for John Cena movie the Reunion, which is about a family reunion where things go wrong.

Halfway into the match, new Raw General Manager Johnny Ace interrupt and declare a tag team match will happen with Del Rio and Punk vs the returning duo…. the Miz and Rtruth returns to Raw. John Laurinaitis announce that he has rehired both the Miz and Rtruth back to WWE again.

The match ends in a DQ when Miz and Rtruth double team cm punk. Triple H comes down for the save and beat up Miz while Punk attack Rtruth. John Laurinaitis is watching backstage and announce that it will be Triple H and CM Punk vs The Miz and Rtruth in a tag team match at WWE Vengeance 2011.

Already announced for the show is an Solidarity Rally where Christian will lead the rest of the talents, staff and crew members to protest against Triple H.

Wade Barrett and Dolph Ziggler have also express support for the protest via Twitter, stating that they will occupyraw until Triple H is no longer COO.

The group have vowed not to enter the arena unless they have confirmation that Triple H step down as COO. The group plans to gather in the parking lot of the arena while Triple H believe the show will go on, regardless of the situation.

The current WWE COO HHH release a statement that he will not be stepping down despite the vote of no confidence and walkout on last week Raw Supershow. Among all the chaos, it can be overlooked that the next PPV event takes places in under 2 weeks. We can expect key WWE Vengeance 2011 matches to be announced.

Also next week is the WWE Mexico 2011 October Tour, where the TV tapings will take place. The tour is headline by the return of Sin Cara and Alberto Del Rio to Mexico, although Rey Mysterio will miss the tour due to injury.

This past weekend WWE live events continued as Triple H agreed not to be in the building, as per the stipulation of the WWE Superstars who want the COO to step down. On Twitter, several WWE personality have given their thoughts on the Raw walkout on Triple H.

WWE Raw 10 10 11 October 10 2011 – Superstars and Announcers Reactions

Seasoned Raw announcer Jim Ross expressed regret that he chose to walkout while NXT announcer William Regal believe Triple H need to appoint an authority figure for the Raw brand and step back to focus on the entire company.

WWE Announcers Booker T and Michael Cole also spoke on the walkout during the Friday Night Smackdown broadcast.

Michael Cole state that he was supporting the wrestlers because they were the ones who kept the company running, and was unhappy with Triple H ego. Booker T joked that he walked out for an washroom break.

John Morrison had some equally harsh words for HHH, stating that the COO ego was a huge problem and that maybe he will now realize that the company need the superstars to function.

Randy Orton Twitter update indicate that he was still undecided but warned he had the RKO ready come Monday Night. Meanwhile CM Punk Twitter update indicate he was against the walkout, saying that he would like the group to confront the COO instead of walking away.

WWE Legends were more critical, with Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase slamming the current roster for immature behaviors of whining and complaining. Former IC Champion Don Muraco agreed, stating that he was embarrassed by the walkout because the Superstars lacked the guts to protect themselves.

Hacksaw Jim Duggan also express that the roster should support the management and more importantly, not let down the WWE Universe.

A preview of the Monday Night WWE Raw 10 03 11 October 03 2011 Supershow, as we experience the fallout from the recent Hell in a Cell PPV where a large angle took place in the last 10 minutes. This will also begin the buildup toward the next PPV in 3 weeks, which is WWE Vengeance 2011. We will have the WWE Raw 10 03 11 October 03 2011 Results shortly after the broadcast.

This evening, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is live from Lafayette, Louisiana for another edition of Monday Night RAW.

So far nothing has been confirmed for the WWE Raw 10 03 11 October 03 2011 show. But you can count on the so-called “fall-out” of the Hell in a Cell PPVs. Moreover, the SmackDown Superstars will be part of the broadcast, under the Raw Supershow concept.

Locally a match between Alberto Del Rio and John Cena for the WWE Title is advertised and this will probably be only a dark match.

After Alberto Del Rio won the WWE title for a second time, the recently fired Miz and R-Truth went into the cage. The second WWE title win by Alberto Del Rio were overshadowed by the rapid events after the main event.

Already at the beginning of the Hell In A Cell PPV event, the Miz and Rtruth had show up with spectator tickets, only to be sent away after John Laurinaitis and a “security force” appeared.

But apparently Miz and Rtruth could count on the help of an ally in the backstage area. After the main event nobody could prevent them from entering the cage, where they attacks the three participants in the Main Event (Cena, Punk and Alberto Del Rio With steel pipes,and the referee plus camera operators who had the misfortune to have been locked in a cage with them.

The entire WWE locker room, led by Triple H, meanwhile, tried in vain for several minutes to come from outside the cell. Using a bolt cutter they were able to broke the door lock. Then cops arrive to have Miz and Truth arrested without resistance in handcuffs.

However Triple H attacked both men in a rage of anger, despite the fact that Miz and Rtruth could not resist any longer because of their shackles. John Laurinaitis wanted to hold back the WWE COO, but also received a punch.

It would seem that there is a group of conspirators behind the scenes who want to remove Triple H from his role as WWE COO. The power struggle has also seen the The WWE title change hand numerous times amid the chaos. How will Triple H attempt to regain control and order back in the company?

On Sunday for the fifth time since mid-July, a new WWE Champion was crowned. Just two weeks after his historic tenth title win at Night of Champions, John Cena was dethroned again.

His predecessor was here his successor, Alberto Del Rio outlast the two other men in the steel construction. This means Alberto Del Rio returns to Mexico next week as WWE Champion.

In the final phase of an intensive match, Alberto Del Rio was able to successfully lock John Cena outside the steel cage and then nail CM Punk with a steel pipe and therefore became the second time WWE Champion.

The Silver Report has been delayed this week due to this writer feeling under the weather for the past two days.  This week, this writer will be looking out the biggest news coming out of Sunday’s Hell in a Cell PPV and the aftermath on last night’s Raw Supershow. 

The last two days have been huge for the WWE and have pushed forward the big storylines towards the upcoming Vengeance and Survivor Series PPVs.  Now let us rundown the biggest news of the past 48 hours.

 

Game Over, User Wins

It is no doubt that this storyline conspiracy against Triple H as COO has been the most polarizing storyline in the WWE since the Nexus storyline over a year ago.  Either you love the storyline or you hate it.  There are not many people in between.  Personally, I have enjoyed where this storyline has gone so far apart from the whole Nash texted Nash reveal.

The last two days have pushed the COO to the brink as the WWE has fallen into total anarchy.  It all started at the very end of Hell in a Cell.  Alberto Del Rio had just won the WWE Championship when two men where hoodies jumped in the ring with what looked like police batons. 

The two men, who were revealed to be R-Truth and the Miz, attacked John Cena, Alberto Del Rio, CM Punk, the referees and cameramen that were all in the Cell.  Triple H, John Laurinaitus, the police and the whole WWE locker room came out to try and open the Cell.  Eventually somebody brought out wire cutters to open the door. 

Once Miz and Truth saw the cops enter the Cell, they surrendered.  The cops cuffed the two vigilantes and escorted out of the Cell right into an enraged Triple H’s fist.  Triple H beat the crap out of Miz and Truth until WWE officials held Triple H back. 

Then last night on Raw, Triple H was given a vote of no confidence by the WWE locker room sans John Cena, CM Punk and Randy Orton.  It seems that the King of Kings has been defeated by whatever omnipresent body is pulling the strings of the WWE and its superstars.  The battle may be won, but the war is far from over. 

And there is one question that is in the forefront of the minds of the WWE Universe.  Who is pulling the strings of the WWE?  It is obvious that Laurinaitus has something to do with it, but he is not the evil mastermind.  This writer bets it will be Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon or the both of them. 

Hopefully this mystery will be revealed at Vengeance because if the WWE puts it off any longer, it could kill all the momentum this storyline has built up.

 

WWE Championship Hot Potato

Another PPV, another title change.  As you read earlier, Alberto Del Rio won the Triple Threat Hell in a Cell match to become a two-time WWE Champion.  With the WWE heading to Mexico later this month to tape both Raw and Smackdown, it seemed ideal that they would like to have a Mexican as the WWE Champion in order to further excite the Mexican fans. 

This writer has enjoyed seeing Del Rio as the WWE Champion, but there is one question that many fans have including yours truly.  What was the purpose of giving John Cena the title at Night of Champions if you were only going to give it back to Del Rio at Hell in Cell? 

Well we will never know the exact answer, but best guess would be that the WWE did not trust that Alberto Del Rio could carry Raw as WWE Champion so they went back to good old reliable, John Cena. Giving the title to Cena two weeks did no favours for Del Rio.  It damaged the Mexican Aristocrat’s main event status more than the WWE believes. 

Also it along with this title change has devalued the prestige of the WWE Championship to the point the WWE Title it feels like a trinket that friends pass around every month or so.  Thank you WWE and your shortsighted booking. 

 

The Beast Known as Mark Henry

While the WWE Championship falters, the World Heavyweight Championship stands as the most prestigious title in the WWE.  The good fortune continues as Mark Henry retained the World Title against Randy Orton at Hell in a Cell PPV. 

A Hell in a Cell match is usually suppose to end a feud, but after the intense fight these two had to start Raw last night, this writer would not mind seeing another match (most likely a No Holds Barred match) between these two superstars on Vengeance or Smackdown. 

The WWE could possibly build a title match between Henry and the Big Show, who returns this week on Smackdown after Henry put him on the shelf at Money in the Bank.  Either way the WWE decides to go should be enjoyable considering how great Henry has been as of late.  It has been a nice change of pace to see a dominant heel in the WWE. 

There has been a surplus of whiney, wimpy heels in the WWE as of late.  To see one dominate the competition like Mark Henry has is a much needed breath of fresh air.  Hopefully the WWE will resist their urge to play hot potato with the World Title and give Mark Henry a long dominate reign as World Heavyweight Champion.

Beth Phoenix WWE Divas Champion

Glamorous Champion Guess third time was the charm for the Glamazon.  In her third attempt on her third consecutive PPV, Beth Phoenix finally captured the Diva’s Championship after a little help from Natalya.  After a few delays, the Divas of Doom can start their domination of the Divas division.  Sadly only one Diva still stands in their way, a sore loser and crazy blonde by the name of Kelly Kelly. 

Last night on Raw, we saw Kelly go absolutely nuts on Beth Phoenix, which surprised many fans and even the Glamazon.  So the model has little fight left in her and will be demanding her rematch for Vengeance. 

Considering how dangerous Kelly Kelly has become to Divas of Doom’s domination and Beth’s reign, Beth and Natalya should make an example of the former Diva’s Champ at Vengeance.  By taking out Kelly Kelly, it would put the Diva’s division on notice and solidify their dominance as the Queens of the Divas.

Randy Orton The Viper gets out of the ring and attacked the World’s Strongest Man, starting a brawl and several WWE officials intervene. They can not separate Henry and Orton and the brawl continues until Randy Orton knock Mark Henry over the barrier and then leaves.

For this week’s WWE SmackDown 10-07-11 October 07 2011 broadcast, we will witness the return of The Big Show.

The group is now in the ring and Alberto del Rio has the first say. He defeated John Cena and CM Puk and now is the new WWE Champion. He was able to celebrate this win not for long, as two outsiders (Miz & R-Truth) attacked him. And that’s just because Triple H has no control over the WWE. The two hooligans (Miz & R-Truth) could enter the cell and Triple H must be responsible.

The other WWE superstars make known their problems and want Triple H to step down as WWE COO. HHH says he does not care about the complaints. You should fight like men, and afterwards in the main event they will face off against Sheamus, Air Boom (Kofi Kingston & Evan Bourne) CM Punk, Mason Ryan and John Cena in a 12 man tag team match.

- WWE Superstars Vote HHH Confidence Or No Confidence

The WWE superstars, staff members and crew are standing around the ring as HHH vote of no confidence process began. HHH talks about his COO job and he never would have thought that the job would be so difficult. But he does not work for the staff, he works for the fans.

Now, if someone wants to say something, then he should come forward. Wade Barrett has the microphone and speaks about the unsafe work environment and that there is only chaos. Triple H starts to laugh and makes the WWE Universe remember Wade Barrett Nexus reign last year. He’s the one who lead the NeXus to takeover Raw for chaos and is unhappy now because he’s not the one causing the trouble.

Then referee Mike Chioda and WWE Diva Beth Phoenix are ??also allowed to express their opinion. At the conclusion, Jerry “The King” Lawler says he agree things are really a little out of control.

However, Jerry does not believe that HHH is directly responsible. For there is someone else who does not want Triple H to be COO and running the Company, and the longer Triple H is in charge of the WWE, the worse it gets. Jerry Lawler announce that he will walk out on the job if HHH refuse to step down as COO.

Christian has a microphone in his hand and now was time for the vote of no confidence on HHH . And Christian vote for “No Confidence” and leaves with his colleagues. Mike Chioda and the referees follow Christian and also leave. All the WWE superstars leaves. Then the commentators Booker T. and Michael Cole, the camera crew as well as various staff leave the ring and the crowd are loudly chanting “Triple H”.

Only Jim Ross is sitting at the desk, but he leaves in the end to leave Triple H alone in the ring. Next John Laurinaitis also comes into the entrance, looking towards Triple H, shaking his head slightly back and leaves. With Triple H looking dejected and standing alone in the ring, Monday Night RAW goes off air.

Big Show says he watched the video of Mark Henry injuring him and it made him angry. Big Show want vengeance on the World Champion and wants a title shot confirmed by tonight.

Mark Henry comes to the ramp and let Big Show know that he will deal with him eventually, but Show did not do anything to earn a title match.

- Big Show and Mark Henry Confrontation

Mark Henry announce that he will not face Big Show in a World Title match. They brawl and the security separate them to no avail.

Big Show gains the upperhand and slam Mark Henry through the announcer table. Then Big Show attempt to destroy Henry’s ankle with a chair but Teddy Long appears and stop him.

The Smackdown taping ends with Teddy Long granting Big Show a World Title shot if he did not jump on Mark Henry ankle. Big Show agrees and leaves without jumping on Henry’s ankle.
