It’s TNA Wrestling aka Impact Wrestling biggest PPV event of the year, and here is the TNA Bound For Glory 2011 Review to find out if it delivers?

Mexican America (c) vs. Ink Inc (World Tag Team Titles)

This was an ok match, a good way to give people a taster of whats to come. I’m liking Ink Inc’s valet Toxine and she’ll hopefully works well with Jessie And Shannon.

Not the greatest of finishes. With Anarquia getting his Pants pulled off by Toxine so we could maybe see the tattoo that Jessie gave him a few weeks ago.

And whilst distracted Hernandez gets a cheap roll up on Shannon for the victory in a messy finish.

Winners & STILL TNA Tag Team Champions: Mexican America

I’d give this match a 4/5 this fued ain’t over yet.

Austin Aries (c) vs Brian Kendrick (X Division Title)

A Double gets a HUGE pop from the crowd at the start of the match This match is the pinnacle of the X division. It’s a great match all in all.

An amazing finish with kendrick hitting a sliced bread. Then tries to hit it again on the apron but misses. Austin gets him in the ring and kicks a dropkick in the corner then hits a brainbuster for the win

Rating: This Was an amazing match 4.9/5 practically the perfect match. But I hope that they let someone else have a go at Austin Aries. Maybe Jesse Sorensen

Full Metal Mayhem-Rob Van Dam vs Jerry Lynn

This match is a big one! We get some ECW chants to start. What a big match this was…proving why jerry lynn needs a full time job at TNA. And proves why RVD needs a good push…he’s a kamikase king!

It was so back and forth until the end..Jerry Lynn sunset slams RVD into the barrier gets the 2 count. Lynn gets a chair and tries to clock RVD and misses so rvd kicks the chair into Lynns face…sets him up in the corner with a ladder on top and goes to the next corner with chair in hand…and goes coast to coast or van terminator for the 1,2,3

Winner: Rob Van Dam

Rating: Holy Cow!!!! 5/5! need I say more? They hug after the match and I think end the feud.

Triple Threat Match – Samoa Joe vs. Crimson vs. Matt Morgan

Weak pops from the fans…and not a great match…it starts by joe provoking morgan and crimson to fight so they beat on joe.

The ending isn’t great either…joe has crimson set up for the musclebuster. Morgan fights him off then morgan hitting a running knee to joes face. I think he was going for the carbon footprint but he caught the ropes. Then Crimson hits a spear and gets the pin whilst morgan is grabbing his knee

Winner: Crimson

Rating: 3/5 they could have done more with this match…i’m not a fan of triple threats. Other people may have their opinions but thats mine.

Falls Count Anywhere – Mr. Anderson vs. Bully Ray

Before the match Bully Ray cuts a promo saying that he milked the city of Philadelphia for all it’s worth..so the crowd start to boo bully ray. And then Mr Anderson Gets a huge pop but doesnt use the mic..until bully ray calls for it..and starts using it the way that anderson does.

“From Hells Kitchen NEW YORK CITY” mr anderson steals it and says “This aint NYC. Welcome to Philly B1tch!” and hits ray with the mic!

The ending is great. Anderson grabs a trashcan and hits ray in the face and put’s hin on a table ray set up earlier. Anderson climbs to the top rope and barely catches ray with the front flip…Mr anderson picks ray up and mic checks ray for the win.

Winner: Mr Anderson

Rating: 4/5 this was a good match. I think this is likely the end of that feud

TNA Knockout Women’s Championship
- Winter w. Angelina Love (c) vs. Mickie James vs. Velvet Sky vs. Madison Rayne-Special Guest Referee-Karen Jarrett

Well this match just proves why the knockouts are better than the divas…fake blood, and a lot of beatdowns from some beautiful women

Angelina Love passes a blood capsule to Winter. Who aimed it a mickie james but hits karen jarrett. Traci Brooks runs out whilst Velvet Sky hits a double underhook facebuster to Madison Rayne for the win

Winner & NEW TNA Knockouts Champion: Velvet Sky

Rating: 4.5/5

I’m so happy for velvet sky..she deserves this more than anyone…she’s been in so many feuds this year..and she has never held the title till now..and she is so deserving of it! Lets hope her title run lasts longer than a month!

“I Quit” Match- AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels

I liked this match and but I didn’t enjoy the finish…it’s quite back and forth at the start…then daniels gets ahead then Daniels threatened to murder AJ in cold blood with a chair..and missed.

AJ grabs a screwdriver that Daniels brought in earlier. And Daniels quits…just like that. Christopher Daniels flees from the ring Styles doesn’t chase him but instead stays in the ring to have his hand raised.

Winner: AJ Styles

Rating: 3/5 it’s a good match that could be better…you know they are setting up more matches between the 2 of them

In-Ring Segment
- Jeff Jarrett & Jeff Hardy

This was a damn good promo for a match between JJ and hardy. Im guessing it could be a loser leaves TNA match.

The Immortal Battles The Icon- Hulk Hogan vs. Sting (The Company vs The Career)

Yes you read right HULK HOGAN fights again…during the match hogan gets out ric flair. And the kicker here is that the ref is Eric Bischoffs son!!! The match ends with Jackson James (Bischoffs son) reluctantly calling for the bell. After a horrible looking Scorpion Death Lock.

Winner: Sting

Rating: 4.9/5 and yes I do realise the post match notes are longer than the actual match notes…but the match is between 2 guys whos combined age is 110! so there was a few bumps…even to hogan!

As a fan I was silently screaming at my computer screen “YES YES OH MY FREAKING GOD YES!!!!” I was loving this. So it’s hogan,sting and carter vs immortal now…this feud will last about 3/6 months and as a fan i’m gonna love every second!!! Now it’s time for the main event of the night.

TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match – Kurt Angle (c) vs. Bobby Roode

Winner & STILL TNA World Champion: Kurt Angle

During the replay it’s easy to see that the ending was supposed to be screwy, but the referee did indeed screw up the count, so it looked even worse for it. The show ends with Roode looking on dejectedly from the corner as Angle is handed his title.

Rating: 3/5 I was so dissapointed for bobby… this was such a crappy ending for him…he shouldn’t have to wait another month or maybe more for his time with the WHC. I mean he should have it at this moment in time.. well maybe this could mean crimson may get a chance at angle.

All in all this was the best PPV of the year so far for either company. Most of the matches went the way fans were expecting. It’s just a shame that roode got screwed out..why didn’t Dixie come out and say that we should restart with a new ref. And bobby win…but still this lived up to expectations!

Rating: 4.5/5 so nearly perfect. Maybe if they had made the Angle/Roode match longer it would have been a 5.
